Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 10: The Skirt Part 3

His current shoes did not match the skirt, so after coming out, he kicked them off and stepped barefoot onto the floor.

The cool floor made Tao Zhi’s toes curl instinctively upon contact.

Tao Zhi’s feet were very white.

Faint blue veins traced his instep, his toes round and neatly trimmed.

The curling motion brought a faint blush under his nails, which quickly relaxed.

In some ways, Tao Zhi was very conservative and traditional.

So the pose he chose for the photo was relatively tame.

He sat properly, legs slightly extended to show a bit of calf, hands holding the phone, shooting from above downward.

Click. The sound finally drew Fu Zheng’s attention away from Tao Zhi’s toes.

Then, a phone screen appeared under his eyes.

“Is this okay?” Tao Zhi asked.

Fu Zheng snapped back and looked at the photo.

Very white.

Very slender.

Very pure……

But—

How to put it.

It was not bad-looking, just too stiff. Not seductive, more like completing a task. Nothing like the previous photos.

Tsk.

He had thought Tao Zhi was dumb and honest before, but who knew an honest guy could play sly too.

And Tao Zhi was completely oblivious to the issue, looking at him with soft, innocent eyes as if to say—

I’m obedient, right?

Hmph.

Fu Zheng was not fooled by his pure demeanor at all.

Imagining Fu Si Heng’s downfall several times over, Fu Zheng finally quashed the weird feelings bubbling up.

He snatched Tao Zhi’s phone directly, found one of the photos he had seen earlier, and showed it to him: “Retake it. Like this.”

On the screen: a girl lying flat on the bed in a pretty nightdress, legs bent up.

……A bit revealing.

The hem rested right at the thigh root, the slender legs rubbing together, full of allure.

Tao Zhi’s face fell instantly, looking pitiful.

“Go on.” Fu Zheng urged.

“Oh……” No choice; the boss had spoken.

Tao Zhi took back the phone and climbed the bed ladder.

He had no idea that climbing a ladder in a skirt was dangerous.

The skirt was already short; the upward leg motion made the hem sway. And with Tao Zhi up high, Fu Zheng nearly glimpsed his—

Fu Zheng’s face exploded red in an instant. He turned away sharply, biting his teeth and muttering under his breath.

“……?” Tao Zhi gripped the ladder rails and turned, confused: “What now?”

“Nothing.” A stiff voice.

“Holy shit.” Unable to hold back, Fu Zheng ruffled his hair and headed for the door: “I’m stepping out for a smoke.”

“Oh.” Tao Zhi responded, puzzled, thinking Fu Zheng really cursed a lot……

With a reference, Tao Zhi completed the task flawlessly.

He replicated the photo’s angle almost one-to-one.

Soon, a new photo was born.

Tao Zhi’s skin was very fair, especially in areas rarely exposed to the sun.

Snowy, delicate flesh that looked stunning straight out of the camera without edits. Graceful, straight, slender leg lines. At the photo’s edge, a bit of skirt hem peeked out, lightly pressed down by neatly manicured fingers.

——Because Tao Zhi felt it was too exposing; he had to hold it down to feel slightly secure, preventing any exposure that might reveal he was a guy.

He did not realize that this half-hidden style, with the shadowy crease under the skirt, was even more tantalizing than a model’s shot.

Tao Zhi glanced at it, saw it was covered, figured it was fine, and sent it to Fu Zheng first.

Fu Zheng took several minutes to reply: 【Good. Send it to Fu Si Heng.】

Tao Zhi did.

Task complete, Tao Zhi sighed in relief, about to change out of the skirt when Fu Zheng messaged again.

Fu Zheng: 【Sent the photo?】

Tao Zhi: 【Yeah yeah yeah. [Little bunny nods obediently.jpg]】

Fu Zheng: 【Okay.】

Fu Zheng: 【Now withdraw it.】

Tao Zhi: 【Huh?】

Fu Zheng: 【No buts, do as I say. After withdrawing, say you sent it by mistake.】

Fu Zheng: 【Make it coquettish.】

Tao Zhi: 【Oh.】

Did not get it, but obeyed.

The next second after sending, Fu Si Heng replied.

Fu Si Heng: 【Who was that for? Fu Zheng?】

Huh?

Tao Zhi’s eyes widened in surprise. Several seconds later, he replied.

Little Cute Bunny: 【Nooo…… Just took it for fun, sent by accident.】

Fu Si Heng: 【Oh.】

Tao Zhi hurriedly forwarded the chat to Fu Zheng, asking how to reply next.

But Fu Zheng did not reply instantly.

……

Fu Zheng was checking his balance at the moment.

He had set aside 50,000. Makeup and clothes cost 13,888; another 10,000 to make Tao Zhi willingly take photos.

300 from last night’s designated driving, 100 for breakfast today.

The second young master Fu, who had never worried about money, now felt it was utterly insufficient—

Tao Zhi looked stunning in drag, but one skirt was too monotonous.

He had just asked Rong Huai about new clothes, and Rong Huai sent a bunch of photos.

Each suited Tao Zhi perfectly, but none were cheap.

Damn.

Fu Zheng did not even smoke, lips pressed tight, thinking he could just eat at the cafeteria from now on.

……

Fu Si Heng seemed to notice this too.

Close brothers sometimes shared uncanny rapport in bizarre ways.

Just as Tao Zhi thought the chat with Fu Si Heng was over, his phone buzzed repeatedly.

He looked down.

Fu Si Heng: 【That’s yesterday’s skirt, right?】

Fu Si Heng: 【Why not change?】

Fu Si Heng: 【Picture】

Fu Si Heng: 【Picture】

Fu Si Heng: 【Picture】

……

Seven or eight skirt photos in a row, all types. Tao Zhi scrolled down.

Fu Si Heng: 【Like any?】

Ah? Me?

Tao Zhi had struggled immensely to make it from the countryside to the big city through sheer hard work on the exams. His family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to send him to university, so he shouldered student loans and scraped by with part-time jobs. He juggled classes and work, heading out early and dragging himself home late, pinching every single yuan until it screamed. Life was brutally tough. Until a rich second-generation heir moved into his dorm as a roommate. The roommate was fierce. Bad-tempered, petty, and loaded with young master syndrome. On his very first day, he bossed Tao Zhi around, making him wash his clothes, polish his shoes, attend classes in his place, and fetch his packages. ...And then handed him a thousand yuan as a hardship fee. Tao Zhi, who had just been inwardly griping about how over-the-top this new roommate was: Huh??? The little money-grubber's eyes lit up. - From that day on, Tao Zhi dutifully stepped up as the rich heir's little lackey. When the roommate ate, he passed the chopsticks. When he drank water, he twisted off the cap. When the roommate bullied someone... he hung back, using his own scrawny frame to prop up the scene. But he didn't quite nail the act and got chewed out for it. That night, he rushed to the library and crammed through over a dozen novels, studying up on how to play the haughty, overbearing lackey. One weekend. Tao Zhi had just returned from the library when he spotted an uninvited guest in the dorm. Dressed in a sharp suit, exuding a cold, imposing aura. The man stood before the roommate, wiping blood from his knuckles. His gleaming leather shoe ground Tao Zhi's god of wealth—his roommate—into the floor. "If I catch you stirring up trouble at school again, you're out." Tao Zhi was petrified. He stood there frozen, not daring to twitch. Only after the man left did he scramble over to help his roommate up. The roommate gritted his teeth, wiped the blood from his nose, and spat at Tao Zhi, word by word: "I order you to seduce my brother, toy with him, then dump him hard. Steal his company's trade secrets while you're at it. I'm seizing power—I want *him* gone!" Tao Zhi: "?" Huh? Tao Zhi's vision went black. Thinking back to the man's icy demeanor, he collapsed straight to the floor and jabbed a finger at himself. "M-Me?" ** Reading Guide: 1. Both pure, mutual first loves.
