Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 19: Swimsuit Part 1

“Fu-ge?”

Tao Zhi called out to him again, and only then did Fu Si Heng snap back to his senses.

His fixed gaze gradually cleared up. Fu Si Heng hummed in acknowledgment, and his eyes finally shifted away from Tao Zhi’s lips.

They quickly landed on the flushed tip of his nose and cheeks.

The villa had heating.

But Tao Zhi had kept his face covered with a scarf the whole time before coming in, so it made sense that his face was red.

However, how could someone look so pretty even when blushing?

His clear, translucent white skin was tinged with a thin layer of red, especially at the tip of his nose, which even showed a hint of pink.

So cute.

Fu Si Heng found it hard to look away. As he stared, his gaze drifted back to those lips.

The lips were very plump and Q.

The slightly puffed lip flesh was coated with a layer of faint, glossy lip tint that shone like jelly.

They trembled and swayed when poked, bouncy and soft, with a moist sheen that made one’s head spin.

Anyone with less self-control would have surely found an excuse to leave by now, or else their heart would pound right out of their chest—utterly embarrassing.

But being older had its advantages.

A mature 28-year-old man wouldn’t lose all reason at the sight.

He heard Tao Zhi’s words. Tao Zhi was asking him what was wrong, if there was something.

“Dinner’s ready.” The older man’s voice was steady, without any hint of irregularity.

The innocent and pure Tao Zhi was just about to respond when Fu Si Heng suddenly raised his hand.

Tao Zhi froze for a moment.

The man’s broad palm pressed against his face, and their vast difference in build was on full display in that moment.

The hand could almost cover his entire face.

Even though Fu Si Heng was being careful, using most of his palm to cradle Tao Zhi’s chin, the sensation was still overwhelmingly intense.

The contrast in skin tones was striking too.

The man’s gaze darkened.

Under Tao Zhi’s bewildered stare, Fu Si Heng’s rough finger brushed against the corner of his lip, then swiped downward.

“Your lip tint smudged.” Fu Si Heng said flatly.

“Ah? Oh.” Tao Zhi quickly came back to himself. “Thank you for the trouble… thanks.”

He didn’t forget to thank Fu Si Heng.

Fu Si Heng almost wanted to laugh at that.

So dazed and clumsy—he didn’t even realize he’d been teased.

Would he thank me even if I did something really over the top in the future?

It was hard not to imagine such a scene.

“…Huh?” Why did he suddenly look so happy? Tao Zhi tilted his head in confusion, looking at him puzzled.

When Fu Si Heng didn’t keep a straight face, he actually didn’t look so intimidating.

His features were handsome to begin with—sharp and superior, the ruggedly handsome type.

It was just that he was usually too stern and expressionless, always wearing that cold, stoic look, which made him seem scary.

But shouldn’t his hand let go by now?

“Fu-ge.” Tao Zhi called out to him.

The moment he opened his mouth, a hand yanked him forcefully behind its owner, accompanied by Fu Zheng’s gritted-teeth voice and the sound of him roughly shoving the door wide open. “Who the hell is touching your face!”

Huh?

Tao Zhi blinked in confusion. “Y-Your brother…”

“?”

“…”

Fu Zheng saw it.

The instant the door flew open, he clearly saw Fu Si Heng’s face.

Fu Zheng froze on the spot.

Tao Zhi was equally baffled, completely unsure what his boss was doing, and he tilted his face up in bewilderment. “Fu Zheng, what’s wrong?”

What could be wrong?

Fu Zheng had just come out of the bathroom when he saw a hand on Tao Zhi’s face.

The man’s broad palm was practically cradling half of Tao Zhi’s face.

And as Tao Zhi turned his head, Fu Zheng could clearly see his chin resting in the man’s palm.

In that instant, it was like he’d suddenly lost his mind—a nameless fire ignited inside him, and without thinking, he’d charged forward.

Now, he felt extremely awkward.

“Why’d you only crack the door open like that?” Fu Zheng snapped, turning his embarrassment into anger.

But he couldn’t even explain why he was so angry, let alone why he was mad in the first place.

Especially when he realized that even after seeing it was Fu Si Heng standing outside, his anger hadn’t subsided at all—Fu Zheng was truly baffled by himself.

Shouldn’t Fu Si Heng being close to Tao Zhi be exactly what he wanted to see?

But he wasn’t happy at all.

He just felt stuffy and irritated.

Tao Zhi: “?”

Huh?

Tao Zhi really had a good temper. Even after being inexplicably accused, he didn’t get mad—he just looked at Fu Zheng in confusion.

He’d only cracked the door because he wasn’t wearing makeup and was a bit worried.

Why blame him?

Tao Zhi pursed his lips and struggled free from Fu Zheng’s gripping hand.

“Whatever.” Fu Zheng thought he was acting weird.

On second thought, Tao Zhi was his person. It was normal for him to get worked up worrying that Tao Zhi was being bullied by someone else.

Yeah, normal.

Tao Zhi was totally an innocent victim here.

He was the one who’d arranged for Tao Zhi to get close and seduce Fu Si Heng in the first place—what they did shouldn’t be an issue, especially something as minor as touching a face.

No. Problem. At. All.

I’ll transfer him some money later.

Fu Zheng finally convinced himself, but he still kept a straight face. Unhappy with his older brother and too lazy to pretend in front of Fu Si Heng, his tone was sharp. “What are you here for?”

“Dinner’s ready.” Fu Si Heng tugged at his lips, not even bothering to glance at his idiot little brother. He spoke only to Tao Zhi. “Come down for dinner.”

“Oh, okay.” Tao Zhi nodded obediently.

Before heading downstairs, Tao Zhi went back to his room and grabbed the scarf again.

But this time, he draped it over his shoulders.

The villa had heating, so he didn’t need a down jacket at all. But the sweater dress he wore exposed his shoulders, which felt a bit uncomfortable, so he draped the scarf over them this time.

Ah? Me?

Ah? Me?

Tao Zhi had struggled immensely to make it from the countryside to the big city through sheer hard work on the exams. His family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to send him to university, so he shouldered student loans and scraped by with part-time jobs. He juggled classes and work, heading out early and dragging himself home late, pinching every single yuan until it screamed. Life was brutally tough. Until a rich second-generation heir moved into his dorm as a roommate. The roommate was fierce. Bad-tempered, petty, and loaded with young master syndrome. On his very first day, he bossed Tao Zhi around, making him wash his clothes, polish his shoes, attend classes in his place, and fetch his packages. ...And then handed him a thousand yuan as a hardship fee. Tao Zhi, who had just been inwardly griping about how over-the-top this new roommate was: Huh??? The little money-grubber's eyes lit up. - From that day on, Tao Zhi dutifully stepped up as the rich heir's little lackey. When the roommate ate, he passed the chopsticks. When he drank water, he twisted off the cap. When the roommate bullied someone... he hung back, using his own scrawny frame to prop up the scene. But he didn't quite nail the act and got chewed out for it. That night, he rushed to the library and crammed through over a dozen novels, studying up on how to play the haughty, overbearing lackey. One weekend. Tao Zhi had just returned from the library when he spotted an uninvited guest in the dorm. Dressed in a sharp suit, exuding a cold, imposing aura. The man stood before the roommate, wiping blood from his knuckles. His gleaming leather shoe ground Tao Zhi's god of wealth—his roommate—into the floor. "If I catch you stirring up trouble at school again, you're out." Tao Zhi was petrified. He stood there frozen, not daring to twitch. Only after the man left did he scramble over to help his roommate up. The roommate gritted his teeth, wiped the blood from his nose, and spat at Tao Zhi, word by word: "I order you to seduce my brother, toy with him, then dump him hard. Steal his company's trade secrets while you're at it. I'm seizing power—I want *him* gone!" Tao Zhi: "?" Huh? Tao Zhi's vision went black. Thinking back to the man's icy demeanor, he collapsed straight to the floor and jabbed a finger at himself. "M-Me?" ** Reading Guide: 1. Both pure, mutual first loves.
