Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 36: Home at Last Part 1

“Calling me baby is so embarrassing.”

Tao Zhi had never been called that by anyone before, let alone in such an intimate position with their noses touching.

Fu Si Heng’s voice was low and his tone ambiguous… It made Tao Zhi’s face flush, his fingers tightening slightly as he didn’t know how to react.

He stood there like a dazed little wooden block.

But even the little wooden block was cute.

His flustered, bewildered, and moist-eyed expression was irresistibly adorable.

So, the tip of his nose got another kiss.

After the kiss, Fu Si Heng’s lips trailed downward, capturing his mouth once more.

The 120-minute movie ended up with at least half an hour spent kissing.

His mouth went numb, and so did the base of his tongue.

His whole body was a mess, with finger marks on his knees, and his neck and lips bore even more evidence.

Sigh, Tao Zhi felt utterly troubled.

Why did they have to kiss every time they met? Couldn’t they keep things a bit more pure?

Was this how everyone dated?

Tao Zhi didn’t know.

He sighed inwardly. After the sigh, he still had to go to dinner with Fu Si Heng.

That was probably the most enjoyable part.

Because Fu Si Heng had booked a revolving restaurant.

It was fascinating, the Western food was delicious, and though he didn’t dare drink the red wine, Tao Zhi felt this date had gone perfectly. He’d made the sacrifice, and their relationship should hold until he returned from break.

…Probably.

He shoved all the troublesome, difficult matters to next year.

No thinking about them now.

After dinner, Fu Si Heng drove him back.

Tao Zhi had initially agreed, but once in the car, he remembered he was staying at a hotel… He grew a bit anxious, worried Fu Si Heng might want to walk him upstairs and find an excuse to enter the room for more of those strange activities.

Tao Zhi’s expression hesitated as he pondered how to tell Fu Si Heng that dropping him at the hotel entrance would suffice.

His reaction must have been too obvious because Fu Si Heng seemed to guess it.

When the red light came on and the Maybach stopped at the crosswalk, Fu Si Heng spoke casually: “Don’t worry, I won’t walk you upstairs.”

“I’ll leave once I drop you at the hotel entrance.”

Tao Zhi: “…”

That single sentence dispelled his doubts while also turning his face bright red with guilt and embarrassment.

Sometimes, he really did think the worst of people, and that wasn’t good.

He wouldn’t hurt Fu Si Heng, would he?

Tao Zhi wanted to make amends, not just out of embarrassment at having his thoughts seen through, but more because he didn’t want Fu Si Heng to misunderstand.

“I didn’t mean it like that, Fu-ge.” Tao Zhi tried to explain: “I—”

“Didn’t you?” Fu Si Heng interrupted.

The older man really loved teasing the pure college boy: “Then should I walk you to your room door?”

“Invite me in for tea?”

“…”

Tao Zhi shut his mouth.

He didn’t dare say more, placing his hands on his knees, head bowed, but his back ramrod straight.

As if his body language screamed, Yes, that’s exactly what I meant.

Utterly disregarding Fu Si Heng’s feelings.

So heartless, so cold.

In the bustling city, this scheming old man had pushed an innocent, simple country boy to such a state.

Fu Si Heng found it amusing.

Quite interesting.

Youth had its charms—everything showed on his face.

Very cute.

The car pulled quietly up to the hotel entrance. As Tao Zhi got out, he suddenly paused.

Afraid Fu Si Heng might really intend to walk him upstairs, he whipped his head around to watch his movements.

When Fu Si Heng unbuckled his seatbelt, Tao Zhi’s heart skipped a beat.

When Fu Si Heng opened the car door, it skipped again.

“Alright, go on in.” Fu Si Heng got out and approached Tao Zhi.

The man’s 190+ cm frame towered over Tao Zhi’s 174 cm, with Tao Zhi’s shoulder against the car door. They gazed at each other for a few seconds before Fu Si Heng raised his hand, pressing his palm to his little boyfriend’s cheek.

He seemed a bit reluctant to part.

Though his expression remained unchanged—cool, impassive—his palm lingered on Tao Zhi’s face, unwilling to let go.

Tao Zhi tilted his face up to look at him.

His clear, innocent eyes blinked in the cold night wind.

The next second, Fu Si Heng’s lips brushed his eyelashes.

It was a pure kiss.

Since they’d started getting intimate, they’d never kissed like this.

Fu Si Heng claimed it was his first kiss too, yet he kissed fiercely and skillfully, instinctively mastering tongue play, often leaving Tao Zhi breathless as his thick tongue explored and licked the soft inner walls of his mouth.

He’d suck on the plump lip flesh, bullying the small, round pearl of his lower lip until it swelled red.

Every kiss was so intense and suffocating, lips refusing to close, clear saliva dripping from the corners.

Today… was unexpected.

The cool lips touched his eyelids lightly, then Fu Si Heng pulled away quickly.

After releasing him, Tao Zhi still looked up at him.

“Alright, go on in.” Fu Si Heng’s palm finally left Tao Zhi’s face.

Ah? Me?

Tao Zhi had struggled immensely to make it from the countryside to the big city through sheer hard work on the exams. His family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to send him to university, so he shouldered student loans and scraped by with part-time jobs. He juggled classes and work, heading out early and dragging himself home late, pinching every single yuan until it screamed. Life was brutally tough. Until a rich second-generation heir moved into his dorm as a roommate. The roommate was fierce. Bad-tempered, petty, and loaded with young master syndrome. On his very first day, he bossed Tao Zhi around, making him wash his clothes, polish his shoes, attend classes in his place, and fetch his packages. ...And then handed him a thousand yuan as a hardship fee. Tao Zhi, who had just been inwardly griping about how over-the-top this new roommate was: Huh??? The little money-grubber's eyes lit up. - From that day on, Tao Zhi dutifully stepped up as the rich heir's little lackey. When the roommate ate, he passed the chopsticks. When he drank water, he twisted off the cap. When the roommate bullied someone... he hung back, using his own scrawny frame to prop up the scene. But he didn't quite nail the act and got chewed out for it. That night, he rushed to the library and crammed through over a dozen novels, studying up on how to play the haughty, overbearing lackey. One weekend. Tao Zhi had just returned from the library when he spotted an uninvited guest in the dorm. Dressed in a sharp suit, exuding a cold, imposing aura. The man stood before the roommate, wiping blood from his knuckles. His gleaming leather shoe ground Tao Zhi's god of wealth—his roommate—into the floor. "If I catch you stirring up trouble at school again, you're out." Tao Zhi was petrified. He stood there frozen, not daring to twitch. Only after the man left did he scramble over to help his roommate up. The roommate gritted his teeth, wiped the blood from his nose, and spat at Tao Zhi, word by word: "I order you to seduce my brother, toy with him, then dump him hard. Steal his company's trade secrets while you're at it. I'm seizing power—I want *him* gone!" Tao Zhi: "?" Huh? Tao Zhi's vision went black. Thinking back to the man's icy demeanor, he collapsed straight to the floor and jabbed a finger at himself. "M-Me?" ** Reading Guide: 1. Both pure, mutual first loves.
