Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 29: Nono Goes to Work at Fu Corporation Part 1

Nono looked up in bewilderment. He didn’t know either.

Jiang Shunnian had no idea when he’d given Director Xie the wrong impression, but he clarified right away: “Director Xie, I’m no good at it. My English is terrible.”

Xie Hualiang was equally stunned. “But Nono’s English is so good. Didn’t you teach him?”

He had heard Nono’s spoken English before—it was fluent and natural, the kind that came from prolonged immersion in an English-speaking environment.

It was hard to reach that level through self-study alone, so he’d naturally assumed Jiang Shunnian spoke English with Nono on a regular basis.

Xie Hualiang’s experience was limited; he didn’t know the world had kids like Nono the Great King, who were so incredibly smart they could achieve this through self-study alone.

Now, Xie Hualiang and Jiang Shunnian stared at each other blankly.

The show’s segment was already set, and luckily, the live stream announcement hadn’t gone out yet. But changing it last minute would ripple through everything, delaying the shoot even further.

Jiang Shunnian understood this full well.

He already felt guilty for missing the previous episode’s recording, and he was deeply grateful for Xie Hualiang’s support back then. He didn’t want to hold up the schedule again because of himself, so he said: “Director Xie, let’s proceed with the live stream as planned. Nono can lead me through the tasks. Worst case, we give the show some comedic gold.”

Xie Hualiang hadn’t expected Jiang Shunnian’s attitude to be so chill. Most celebrities obsessed over their image.

But Jiang Shunnian’s expression was utterly genuine, not a facade.

Nono nodded solemnly too. “Uncle, I’ll lead Daddy through the tasks!”

After careful thought, Xie Hualiang made his decision. “Alright, we’ll go ahead as planned.”

The other guests agreed. The past few episodes had gone smoothly, the kids had performed brilliantly, and their own children were receiving bilingual education. Their spoken English might not match Nono’s, but daily conversation was no issue.

An outstanding live stream would skyrocket their popularity.

The crew began filming B-roll, and Jiang Shunnian knew how to stir things up. He immediately turned to Nono beside him. “Baby, teach me some everyday English? I need to cram at the last minute—no, hug Nono’s feet!”

Nono nodded. “No problem, Daddy.”

He rattled off a string of impeccably standard, beautiful English, delivered in his childish little milk voice. It was utterly enchanting.

But the more Jiang Shunnian listened, the more confused he got. Did a simple greeting really need this much? Shouldn’t it just be “hello” and “how are you”?

Something felt off, and then he caught “daddy” in there—not just once.

He suspected it wasn’t everyday phrases after all, especially when he saw Nono stifling a giggle. That’s when it hit him: Nono was messing with him on purpose.

Jiang Shunnian reached out to tickle Nono. “Naughty Nono, were you just talking smack about Daddy?”

Nono burst into giggles from the tickling but refused to reveal what he’d said. Jiang Shunnian was dying of curiosity—even considered asking the cameraman.

But the cameraman just shook his head blankly, admitting he had no clue what Nono had said.

Damn it, Nono must’ve learned this from Fu Yanli!

Jiang Shunnian mentally tallied another strike against Fu Yanli.

It wasn’t until the episode aired later, complete with subtitles, that Jiang Shunnian learned the truth.

What Nono had said was: “I have the best daddy in the whole world. His love for me is as vast and boundless as the starry galaxy. I’m proud to be Daddy’s child. I hope my daddy stays healthy and happy forever, and that I can grow up fast so I can take care of him one day.”

The words hit Jiang Shunnian like a truck. He burst into tears, hugging Nono tight. What good did I ever do to deserve such a perfect child?

Viewers were sobbing too, propelling Nono back onto the hot search trends with pleas like, “Which way do I bow to birth a perfect Nono the Great King?!”

The car wound along a quiet, curving road flanked by lush broadleaf trees. Sunlight danced on the shimmering lake, reflecting the serene, mysterious mountains.

The scenery—so different from back home—drew gasps from Jiang Shunnian and Nono alike. Small animals occasionally darted from the woods, eliciting excited squeals from Nono.

Everyone had slept well in first class on the way over, so no major jet lag. After confirming with the guests that they were good to go, the crew prepped the live stream announcement.

They explained the content ahead of time: They’d park ten kilometers from the manor in Los Arna Town. Fathers and kids would chat up local resident NPCs, complete their tasks, and earn transport based on difficulty—bikes for easy, motorcycles for medium, cars for hard.

Fail to find an NPC or complete the task? Walk.

First father-son duo to the manor got the best house and a lavish Western feast.

Jiang Shunnian paled and immediately crouched to grab Nono’s arm. “Baby, Daddy’s counting on you!”

Nono puffed out his little chest, his reply brimming with reassurance. “Just stick close to me, Daddy.”

Baby Travel Plan was the hottest summer variety show, especially with a top-tier wonder like Nono—from looks to skills. The official Weibo had gained over two million followers in just a few episodes, thanks to their cute behind-the-scenes clips and extras.

Jiang Shunnian’s fans had surged by five million too, but mostly Nono fans demanding more photos and videos.

Soon, the official Weibo dropped the live stream teaser: Live mode in thirty minutes, set for two hours with possible extensions.

It was 4 p.m. back home on a Saturday, and the post exploded.

【What?! Live Nono?!】

【Aaaah, Nono the Great King! This loyal servant is here!】

【The crew’s going all out—aren’t they scared of flopping?】

Comments flooded in, rocketing it up the hot search.

The crew’s logistics were top-notch; everything was ready with split-screens for each father-son pair, switchable by viewers.

At go-live, over a million poured in. The crew had prepped for the surge, though it lagged briefly.

The Village Chief grinned at the camera. “Hello, viewers! We’re filming the final episode of Baby Travel Plan in Country X. Today’s live: Our five guest pairs find their own way to the manor. Please welcome our guests!”

After intros, he stepped aside. The pairs disembarked one by one.

Youyou, bubbly as ever, waved first. “Hi everyone, I’m Youyou! Thanks for loving me and Daddy!”

She cheekily threw a heart.

Then Oreo, Lubao, and Ning An—all poised and greeting smoothly.

Even Ning An showed no stage fright.

Finally, Nono.

The chat went silent for a beat at his appearance, then erupted.

【Nono the Great King! Aaaah, what a gorgeous little human cub.】

【Jiang Shunnian looks stunning too. Father and son are in their own league.】

【Nono’s eyes are so noble and mysterious—golden sheen before, but now crystal clear. Stunning!】

Nono wore a white shirt with a deep blue British-style vest and a tiny gentleman hat. His killer looks and vibe had fans swooning before he even spoke.

He winked cutely at the camera. “I’m Nono. Thanks for liking me!”

【Quick, get me some oxygen—Nono’s cuteness is killing me!】

After brief intros, the Village Chief announced: Guests, find those NPC residents and snag your rides!

Other dads led their kids; Jiang Shunnian was the odd one out, trailing Nono like a helpless big sidekick.

Bullets questioned it, but soon the truth dawned.

Nono was leading Jiang Shunnian!

Nono zeroed in on a young, pretty blonde. In fluent English, he asked if she’d heard about the Baby Travel Plan crew setting up locally recently and if she’d met any residents involved.

Her crisp problem-solving and killer accent left the stream stunned.

【Wait, what did Nono just say? I couldn’t follow!】

English majors jumped in with live translations, gushing: 【OMG fam, Nono the Great King’s pronunciation is elite—textbook level for kids! And he’s dropping CET-6 vocab!】

【Once again, bow to Nono the Great King’s genius. Strongest cub on Earth?】

【With Nono the Great King, this loyal servant can just lie flat.】

The first blonde didn’t know, but the second—a middle-aged guy—perked up. “Half a month ago, some Chinese folks came to my neighbor’s.”

He eagerly led them over.

En route, Nono chatted fluidly; the guy was hooked, asking how to watch the show. Nono answered everything.

Jiang Shunnian couldn’t get a word in, just silently carrying Nono like a mute kid-hauler.

His silence drew notice.

【Jiang Shunnian so quiet—something wrong?】

【Nono’s running the show lol.】

【Jiang Shunnian is me traveling abroad, glued to the tour guide or I’m lost!】

Staff chuckled at the bullets, nudging: “Teacher Jiang, chat wants you to say something.”

Jiang Shunnian’s face fell. Nono told the guy: “My daddy’s English isn’t great, but can he say a few words to you?”

The guy played along with perfect Chinglish: “Hello, how are you?”

Jiang Shunnian nailed it confidently: “I’m fine, thank you, and you?”

Bullets lost it, pegging his level.

Nono patted him reassuringly. “Don’t worry, Daddy. I’ll get us through.”

Jiang Shunnian huffed proudly at the stream. “Laugh it up, but Nono’s my kid. Jealous much?”

【Aaaah, Jiang Shunnian you…】

【Okay, you played that well!】

【Even if, can Nono be my kid?】

Fu Yanli was watching too, lunching with Aetheris Group’s head before hotel downtime.

Nono’s prowess filled his deep gold eyes with pride.

But his gaze lingered more on Jiang Shunnian—unfazed by the English jabs, even flipping the script. Fu Yanli’s lips curved in a smile.
