Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 11

The three began to persuade him:

“An Omega asking out an Alpha—everyone will just think you’re into Alphas.”

“My god, how can you fight?”

“Have you forgotten how your bone cracked the last time you fought an Alpha?”

Mu Chenxing actually hadn’t planned to cause trouble for Lin Chuan today.

He was just puzzled. “Isn’t our school the Alliance First Military Academy?”

Xia Weizhen: “Yeah, what does that have to do with you asking someone out?”

Mu Chenxing: “So the Alphas at our school could barely be considered some of the best in the entire Alliance, right?”

Xia Weizhen and Tao Xirui nodded, but Tong Xiao understood his point and frowned.

Mu Chenxing: “Lin Chuan looks like an Alpha who sits in an office all day—flabby arm muscles, soft gait. Don’t even compare him to some of our school’s seniors; even Xu Zhicheng is stronger than him, and I can make Xu Zhicheng eat dirt. Lin Chuan’s no problem.”

Tong Xiao: “That’s just your guess! It’s too dangerous! There are no teachers to protect you off-campus.”

Mu Chenxing got it, his eyes lighting up. “So that means Omegas can fight outside without anyone interfering.”

Tong Xiao: “…”

He pinched the bridge of his nose. “Can’t we think of another solution? We could’ve solved it by cussing him out earlier—why bother asking him out?”

Mu Chenxing: “For a man—trash-talking is the lowest form of revenge. His Pheromones crawled all over me; how can I tolerate that?”

He just couldn’t distinguish Pheromones; he wasn’t lacking in basic physiological knowledge.

He had already finished the elementary school physiology lessons.

In this world, Pheromones were no different from reproductive organs. Using Pheromones on a stranger was like whipping out your dick and shoving it in their face.

He—a full one-meter-eighty man—being called cute was one thing, but being sexually harassed with someone’s reproductive organ?!

Even a saint couldn’t tolerate this!

The three were about to persuade him further when Mu Chenxing gestured for them to look behind. “We’ll talk later; food’s here.”

Tong Xiao: “…” He sat back down dejectedly, picked up his chopsticks, and continued, “Eating doesn’t stop us from talking.”

Xia Weizhen sat down too. “Right, listen to us—we’ll keep going.”

Tao Xirui: “Exactly.”

Mu Chenxing: “…”

A delicious feast was turned into a three-man trial by his three roommates.

Mu Chenxing ate while murmuring “mm-hmm” and “okay, okay,” not missing a beat.

After a few bites, Lin Chuan came over again to say goodbye, smiling warmly as he reminded Mu Chenxing to contact him.

Mu Chenxing promised heartily, plastering on a fake smile to send him off.

His three roommates knew he was dead set on fighting and wouldn’t be swayed otherwise; they could only feel helpless.

Sure enough, once Mu Chenxing and the others were far enough away, he immediately asked where a good spot for a fight would be.

Tong Xiao and the other two paled in fright and launched into bombardment mode again, taking turns with lectures and big reasons until their mouths went dry.

Between scoldings and eating, the meal dragged on past two o’clock before ending.

Terrified that Mu Chenxing would actually go through with asking someone out to fight, the three flanked him like jailers, arms linked with his, escorting him through corridors and buildings to their destination: the hair salon.

They even demanded the staff handle all four of them together, afraid he’d bolt midway.

Mu Chenxing was torn between laughter and tears.

He wasn’t an idiot.

This world was still too unfamiliar to him—transportation, public behavior norms, security regulations… and how to handle injuries. He knew none of it.

How could he act rashly without scouting the situation? He wanted to teach a lesson, not deliver himself on a platter.

That’s why he’d specifically kept the guy’s contact.

Still, his three roommates were all Omegas, clueless about fighting. He’d have to return to school and ask an Alpha.

Mu Chenxing made up his mind and began soothing his roommates.

But Lin Chuan couldn’t hold back and sent messages asking for his name, age, and where he lived.

Under pressure from his roommates, Mu Chenxing ignored every single one and shut off his Holo-Screen.

Tong Xiao stared at him. “Why not just delete him?”

Mu Chenxing put on an innocent face. “I’ve got to hang with my dear roommates today; no time for him. Beating him can wait anytime, but if I delete the contact, I won’t be able to find him.”

Tong Xiao relaxed a bit.

Xia Weizhen was even moved, hugging his arm. “Xingxing’s so sweet.”

Tong Xiao: “Best not to fight at all. If we must, let’s post him online and ruin his reputation.”

Mu Chenxing waved it off. “No rush; I’ll handle it—don’t worry, I’m very vindictive. I won’t forget.”

Tong Xiao and the other two: “…”

Is this even about remembering?

Whatever. As long as he didn’t fight today, the odds of actually dragging someone out for a brawl once they were back at school and time had passed would drop.

This matter was over.

Next, Mu Chenxing was dragged shopping by his roommates, got a haircut, bought some clothes, then followed them to a so-called food court for interstellar snacks. Stuffed with a round belly, they returned to school.

Sunday was tutoring, homework, training, and a casual stroll through the Medical Building.

Mu Chenxing even secretly asked Xia Weizhen for Xu Zhicheng’s contact.

Xia Weizhen: “…Why do you want his contact?”

Mu Chenxing, perfectly justified: “Last time we fought, he not only lost but got demerits. Don’t I owe him some consolation?”

Xia Weizhen hesitated. “He’s pretty annoying, but I hear he’s been laughed at enough already. Can’t you just leave him be?”

Mu Chenxing hooked an arm around his neck. “Whose side are you on? Why are you speaking up for him?”

Xia Weizhen: “Hahaha, I’m not… An Alpha getting floored by an Omega twice, posted on the School Forum, and used as a textbook example by all the combat instructors—it’s kinda tragic.”

Mu Chenxing released his neck and patted his head. “You’re too soft-hearted; watch out or your partner will bully you later.”

Xia Weizhen hugged his arm. “Heh heh, no worries—I’ll come to you for help then.”

“Fine, but,” Mu Chenxing crossed his arms, “if you come to me, I’ll just help you speedrun a divorce. I won’t beat up the jerk and watch you two make up all lovey-dovey.”

Xia Weizhen: “…”

Mu Chenxing: “The contact.”

Xia Weizhen: “I really don’t have it—I’ll ask for you.”

No luck.

Mu Chenxing was speechless and pinched Xia Weizhen’s cheeks. “You little fool, couldn’t you ask indirectly? Why mention me?”

Xia Weizhen: “…I’ll try again.”

Another excuse, still no dice.

He spread his hands. “See? Xu Zhicheng won’t even talk to me.”

Mu Chenxing frowned. “So petty?”

He thought for a moment. “Can you get his class schedule?”

Xia Weizhen: “That should be doable.”

Two video calls later, he had Xu Zhicheng’s schedule.

Mu Chenxing saved it and turned to leave.

Xia Weizhen: “Hey, where are you going? There’s still one more class.”

Mu Chenxing patted his head. “Teacher Ji doesn’t take roll. I’ll circle the Administrative Building; grab something to eat on my own later. Don’t worry about me.”

Xia Weizhen: “Administrative Building? You’re not going after Xu Zhicheng—hey!”

Mu Chenxing had already bolted.

He was indeed planning to catch him.

Not to mention anything else—as a freshman with a body full of Alpha Pheromones, he drew plenty of pointing fingers.

The Military Academy’s discipline was decent, and his aggressive Alpha Pheromones affected Betas and Omegas little while repelling other Alphas, so they only dared to whisper from afar…

But Professor Zhang had checked him these past two days and said the Pheromones on him probably wouldn’t fade for a month. The concentration had only dropped a little; at least another half-month to go.

He still wanted to check out the world beyond the gates. With his current state and temper—referencing Lin Chuan—he might end up fighting someone anyway.

Better hurry and get intel.

A little past eleven, the campus was full of students without classes.

Mu Chenxing checked Xu Zhicheng’s last class building—near the Administrative Building. The shuttle ride was three minutes; running would take forty-two.

He stretched his limbs and took off running.

He arrived at Xu Zhicheng’s lecture hall at exactly forty-two minutes—not a second more or less.

Less than five minutes until the end of class.

Mu Chenxing pocketed his Holo-Screen in satisfaction, slowed to a stroll, and sauntered toward the building.

The millennial school anniversary was in a couple days; decorations were underway everywhere—updating signs, trimming green belts, polishing building glass.

Mu Chenxing stopped and looked up.

On the lecture hall’s silver glass facade, machines wiped away grime.

A worker on what looked like a hoverboard floated midair, Holo-Screen in hand, darting between the machines.

Mu Chenxing watched the modern tech for a good while out of curiosity before turning to leave.

A faint chill—like winter stepping onto a snowy plain—suddenly emerged from nowhere, mingling with October’s dry autumn air, piercing cool to the core.

Familiar?

Mu Chenxing hesitated and stopped—

A figure dropped from the sky.

Mu Chenxing leaped back several steps, putting distance between them.

The man whistled. “Yo, quick reflexes.”

Mu Chenxing narrowed his eyes, sizing him up.

First impression: tall.

Very tall.

The Military Academy’s Alphas averaged just over 190 cm, most above 195. This guy was absolutely two meters.

Broad shoulders, long legs, dressed in casual clothes unlike students or teachers—not super casual, more like a shirt and slacks from his old world, leaning formal.

But he didn’t wear it right: top two buttons undone, sleeves rolled to reveal toned wheat-colored forearms, shirttail loose instead of tucked.

A perfectly good shirt, worn like a slacker.

Paired with the man’s smiling, appraising gaze—yep, another Lin Chuan.

Mu Chenxing tsked inwardly, sidestepped him, and tried to leave.

The man’s long leg shifted, blocking him again. “Little beauty, we meet again.”

Mu Chenxing frowned.

Original body’s admirer?

Not using his name meant they weren’t close.

—The bell rang, signaling the end of class.

Mu Chenxing glanced at the building ahead, growing impatient. “I don’t know you. I have business—excuse me.”

The man grinned. “No worries if you don’t know me; see me more and you will. We’re pretty fated—want to bond with me?”

Bonding was the equivalent of a proposal.

Mu Chenxing, fresh from elementary physiology: “?”

He got it. Psycho.

He rolled his eyes and sidestepped again—

The man blocked him once more. “Don’t be shy; we’ve already—”

Mu Chenxing instantly jumped back several steps. The man’s smile widened. “So ruthless. That’s the source of your future children—what if you kick it too hard~~”

Mu Chenxing retracted his kicking leg and stared coldly.

That reaction speed, those arms… This Alpha—he couldn’t beat him yet.

“What do you want?”

The man sidled closer with a roguish grin. “I told you—I think you’re perfect as my Omega. Want to bond—”

“Xu Zhicheng!” Mu Chenxing spotted a figure emerging from the building and shouted, “Wait for me! I need to talk to you!”

Xu Zhicheng saw him, face darkening, and turned to bolt.

“Damn it!” Mu Chenxing shoved the man aside and charged. “Xu Zhicheng!! Stop!!”

The man raised a brow.

Mu Chenxing met with an ambush and died while carrying out a mission. When he woke, a bizarre heat and dizziness overwhelmed his body. He spotted the shady figures around him and calmly grabbed a wine bottle. Clang! He smashed it and jabbed the jagged edge into his thigh before charging forward— By the time he pieced together what had happened, he realized he'd transmigrated into some bizarre world. The interstellar expanse stretched vast, technology advanced beyond measure, but humanity's classifications were downright strange. His kind was called Omega—weak as dodder vine, their lives seemingly revolving around nothing but marriage, popping out kids, going into heat, and hooking up with guys. Fuck! Pei Yao was notorious for despising Omegas—until he witnessed that spectacular showdown at the mouth of the alley. He caught the lingering scent of wine in the air and suddenly thought, Omegas aren't so bad after all. He couldn't stop thinking about that Omega from that night. When he attended his alma mater's celebration, he ran into that very same pretty Omega with explosive power from the alley. He immediately blocked his path and smiled. "Little beauty, looks like we're pretty fated. Wanna bond with me?" What came back at him was a vicious groin kick from the little Omega. Pei Yao: *Hiss... that's hot. At the University Arena Competition between interstellar universities, a pretty Omega burst onto the scene out of nowhere. He crushed a horde of Alphas and stormed into the finals. Online, the insults, mockery, and disgust began to brew into a storm of negativity. But then the Omega-phobic Admiral—judged doomed to a life of lonely widowhood—suddenly opened a Starbo account. His first post was just a single photo: A bruised-faced Omega kicking an Alpha opponent flying. @Pei Yao: *My wife—handsome, right? The entire net: *...* Mu Chenxing: *...*
