Chapter 4

The silver-haired teenager lowered his eyes, not quite catching what Xing Nuo was saying.

He stepped inside, holding the little cub, and searched around the entranceway. Finally, he bent down and put a pair of fluffy rabbit-eared slippers on Xing Nuo’s feet.

“Put on your shoes, or you’ll get sick and have to soak in the pool again.”
