Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Brother, Don’t Delete Me! 67

Chapter 67: Touch

The room was dark, the only light source coming from the dim streetlights outside.

Luo Jing’s house was some distance from the city center, and the residents in this area were all wealthy, so there was rarely any noise at night. The room was silent, only the soft sounds of their breathing.

After coming back to his senses, Luo Jing stared at Huai Dan for a while.

The night was deep, making him lose track of time. The person in front of him seemed to have appeared out of thin air, one moment in his mind, the next standing before him.

And no one else knew he was here at this moment.

“Brother, don’t you think we’re a bit like we’re having an affair?” Luo Jing asked after a pause, sincerely.

Huai Dan: “…”

He reached out and tapped Luo Jing’s forehead: “Your Chinese has deteriorated after a few years abroad?”

Luo Jing covered his forehead symbolically: “Is that not how you use the word?”

Huai Dan didn’t answer but asked in return, “Then who am I?”

“Brother,” Luo Jing replied instinctively, years of ingrained perception taking over.

“Wrong.” Huai Dan lowered his eyes, gently rubbing his thumb against his lower lip, correcting him. “Now I’m your boyfriend.”

“…” Luo Jing looked away, his ears turning even redder.

These three words had an unexpectedly strong impact.

Huai Dan, however, didn’t let him off the hook and leaned in to kiss him, his voice muffled against his lips: “Get used to it.”

Huai Dan’s words made Luo Jing’s heart race, his mind going blank, all his senses focused on the point of contact between them.

As if afraid he would catch a cold, Huai Dan’s hand gently rested on his lower back, then moved upwards, separating him from the door.

A warm, dry touch spread across his back, and Luo Jing felt a jolt, his body trembling uncontrollably.

After a moment, he pushed Huai Dan away slightly, his expression unnatural: “Wait… I, I need to use the restroom.”

Then he looked up and saw the clearly visible interior of the maid’s room’s bathroom through the glass door, and he instantly fell silent.

…He had to find someone to change this door tomorrow.

Luo Jing thought.

After a pause, he swallowed, not daring to look at him, and muttered, “I-it’s getting late, let’s stop here for now, I’ll go back.”

He turned to open the door, but Huai Dan grabbed the doorknob first.

Then his hand moved down.

The next moment, “click.”

The door was locked.

“Let me help you,” Huai Dan said.

Luo Jing: “…”

Huai Dan led him to the bed.

The single bed was small, and when Luo Jing lay down, he didn’t know where to put his hands.

The scene was too overwhelming, and Luo Jing tried to push him away, but failed.

Although Huai Dan’s movements were gentle, it still brought tears to his eyes.

After a while, as if finding the position inconvenient, Huai Dan pulled him up and sat him on his lap, then buried his face in his shoulder, sniffing lightly.

“Just showered?” he asked.

Then he ran a hand through his hair and commented, “It’s not completely dry yet. Remember to dry it before going to bed.”

Luo Jing: “……”

“Stop talking,” he said, exasperated.

In this situation… his words were like casual conversation, the contrast too strong. Luo Jing took a breath and rested his forehead on Huai Dan’s shoulder, closing his eyes.

Huai Dan chuckled, then lifted his chin and kissed him.

When it was over, Huai Dan went to the bathroom to wash his hands.

Luo Jing sat on the bed, breathing slightly raggedly, still trying to catch his breath.

All he could think was, was this right?

After a while, Huai Dan came out and stood in front of him.

Luo Jing looked up at him, then lowered his eyes.

“Do you want me to…” Luo Jing started, then paused.

But before he could finish, Huai Dan stopped him.

“I still have to go home,” he said.

“…” Luo Jing looked away slightly. “This makes us look even more like we’re having an affair.”

Huai Dan instantly understood what he meant, feeling a bit helpless and amused.

“Then hurry up and find a way to make us not look like we’re having an affair.”

The next day, Luo Jing unusually woke up late.

Although Luo Feng was serious about her work, she was very lenient about when she went to work. Seeing that Luo Jing hadn’t come downstairs yet, she patiently waited for him on the sofa, looking at her phone.

After waiting for another fifteen minutes, Luo Jing finally hurried downstairs.

“You’re so late today,” Luo Feng said, pointing at the dining table. “Breakfast.”

Luo Jing glanced at the time. He was already late, so he gave up and sat down at the table to eat.

Huai Dan had sent him a message before he woke up, asking if he wanted to have lunch together. He took a sip of milk and replied “yes.”

“Where do you want to have lunch?” Luo Feng suddenly asked.

Luo Jing: “?”

“…Do you want more? If you’re not full,” he asked his sister with concern.

“No, I’m asking so I can make a reservation,” Luo Feng replied. “Let’s eat out today.”

Luo Jing thought for a moment: “Okay.”

It would be a good opportunity for the three of them to be together… and he could also tell Luo Feng about him and Huai Dan.

Seeing that Luo Jing didn’t seem to have any preferences, Luo Feng asked, “How about that Chinese restaurant we went to before?”

Luo Jing immediately knew which one she was talking about.

He now had a strange aversion to that restaurant, and upon hearing it, a bad premonition flashed through his mind.

But he had only recently returned and wasn’t familiar with other restaurants yet, plus the food there was indeed very good, so he agreed.

It was just psychological.

He comforted himself with this thought and sent the restaurant’s name to Huai Dan.

Huai Dan replied with an “okay.”

Luo Jing put away his phone and continued eating happily.

Luo Feng had been acting mysteriously all morning. Although Luo Jing found it strange, he didn’t ask, and thinking about confessing to his sister at lunch today, he was a bit nervous.

It was still a while before lunch, but Luo Feng took him out early. Thinking they were just driving there, Luo Jing didn’t think much of it and obediently got into the car, then messaged Huai Dan that he had left.

Brother: [Okay, I’m leaving now.]

Luo Jing sent him an emoji in reply.

It was during work hours, so there weren’t many cars on the road, and they quickly arrived at the restaurant.

It was still a while before lunchtime, and the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. Huai Dan’s company was some distance away, so he would arrive a bit later.

Luo Jing followed Luo Feng into the restaurant, but he found that she hadn’t booked a private room, but had led him to a booth.

Then she went and sat at the booth next to them.

Luo Jing: “???”

He looked at his sister, confused, then instinctively tried to get up.

“Sit there and don’t move,” Luo Feng quickly stopped him, then took out sunglasses and a bucket hat from her bag and put them on.

Luo Jing: “…”

He looked at his strangely behaving sister and pointed at the window: “The bank is across the street, there’s nothing you want here.”

“…” Luo Feng was speechless for a moment. “Don’t worry about it, just sit there.”

Although confused, seeing that she wasn’t leaving, Luo Jing didn’t ask further.

Luo Feng, in her strange disguise, sat at the booth next to him, staring at her phone without saying a word, either ordering food or doing something else.

Perhaps because they hadn’t officially opened for lunch yet, there was no one in the aisle, and the staff seemed to be busy preparing food in the kitchen. The restaurant was eerily quiet.

It felt like something was about to happen, and as Luo Jing sat there, his unease intensified.

Finally, he couldn’t take it anymore and was about to get up: “Why don’t we…”

“He’s here,” Luo Feng suddenly said, looking at her phone. “Just pretend I’m not here from now on. Communicate through your phone.”

She then moved further into the booth.

Luo Jing: “???”

Who was here?

He instinctively looked towards the entrance, and the next moment, he saw a man walk in.

He was still far away, so he couldn’t see his face clearly… but that figure, why did it look so much like Huai Dan?

Luo Jing was a bit confused, but before he could get a closer look, the man walked over.

He walked straight to the booth opposite Luo Jing and sat down.

Luo Jing: “………”

He was speechless.

Because this person.

Not only was he similar in height and clothing style to Huai Dan, even his hairstyle looked freshly done, practically identical to Huai Dan’s.

And most importantly, even his facial features resembled Huai Dan’s.

Luo Jing froze, not knowing how to react.

Countless thoughts flashed through his mind, but he couldn’t grasp any of them.

The man opposite him didn’t speak, seemingly waiting for him to recover.

“…” Luo Jing regained some of his composure, closed his eyes, then, exasperated, picked up his phone, about to curse, when he saw the message Luo Feng had just sent.

Sister: [How is he? I had Xiao Huang search all the major entertainment companies yesterday, looking at photos and videos until her eyes hurt, to find this most similar person.]

Sister: [If you like him, you can play around with him, but don’t do anything inappropriate, you hear?]

Luo Jing: “…”

He took a breath and stiffly turned to look at Luo Feng.

Then he saw her smug and concerned.

Face.

…Luo Jing really wanted to say, thank you so much.

Was this some kind of concubine selection?

The entertainment industry was truly disgusting!

Luo Feng, seeing Luo Jing’s expression, thought he was too surprised to speak and became even more satisfied: [You two have a good chat, let the past be the past.]

Luo Jing was too speechless to reply.

“Hello,” the man opposite him greeted him, seeing that he seemed to have recovered.

The new drama hadn’t started filming yet, and he had been studying the script, but yesterday he had received a sudden assignment from the company, having him go to the studio for a full makeover.

He had been a bit apprehensive, but then they told him it was to make friends with the young master of Fengjing Entertainment, who apparently liked this style, and they even gave him a persona.

While relieved, he also found the rich people of today strange, even customizing their friends.

But befriending someone of this status was only beneficial, so he readily agreed, although he was still a bit suspicious on the way there and decided to leave if anything felt off.

Until this moment, seeing the young master in person, he suddenly felt that even if it was just a transactional relationship, it didn’t matter.

…Actually, he wouldn’t even mind paying for it.

“Hello,” Luo Jing replied, about to say something, when his phone vibrated.

Brother: [At the entrance.]

Luo Jing: “…?!!!”

“You can leave now. Luo Feng will pay for your transportation,” he said to the man opposite him, quickly and urgently.

He looked towards the entrance, his heart pounding.

The man was confused but thought perhaps the young master had a tsundere personality, so he stayed put and tried to start a conversation: “Do you usually…”

Luo Jing: “…”

He felt like his heart had died.

Because Huai Dan had entered.

He was facing Huai Dan, who nodded slightly at him upon seeing him, then walked over.

It was just a few steps, but it felt like a lifetime to Luo Jing.

Walking up to him, Huai Dan reached out and ruffled his hair.

Then he saw the man sitting opposite him.

Huai Dan froze, rarely so surprised.

After a moment, he chuckled.

…A laugh of disbelief.

Luo Jing closed his eyes in pain.

If he ever came to this restaurant again, he was a dog.

The guy's name was Huai Dan. He was somewhat taciturn and had a face as indifferent as his name. Mom and Dad seemed very happy, probably because their daughter, who looked like she was going to be single forever, had finally found a decent guy. Luo Jing was also very happy because this older brother was incredibly good at video games. Huai Dan stayed at their house for over a month, and Luo Jing pestered him every day to play games and rank up. As a result, he thrived among his friends throughout the entire holiday, his game ranking soaring. Luo Jing was more than satisfied with this prospective brother-in-law. He felt that no other man would be more suitable to join his family than Brother Huai! It was just a little strange that his sister and her boyfriend didn't seem very close. Suppressing his unease, Luo Jing continued to happily interact with his prospective brother-in-law. Then one day, his premonition came true. His sister and her boyfriend broke up! Luo Jing felt like a bolt from the blue. Thinking of all the videos and posts he had seen about couples relentlessly erasing all traces of each other from their lives after breaking up, a huge sense of crisis swept over him. He quickly opened his messaging app. Luo Jing: [Big Brother, don't delete me!] In a panic, Luo Jing blurted out: [Actually, I have another older sister who lives abroad. I'll introduce her to you!] Huai Dan: [?]
He agreed. Thus began a rather strange "online relationship."
Later, as Luo Jing grew up, he belatedly realized how childish this behavior was. So he made his "second older sister" break up overnight and planned to fade out of his brother's life for a while. They met again when Luo Jing finished university and returned home for an internship. He discovered that the client he was liaising with was the very person he had inadvertently deceived for so long. An immense sense of guilt washed over him. "Where's your second older sister?" The most dreaded question finally came. "Dead... Dead." Luo Jing hung his head, scanning the floor, wishing he could find a crack to disappear into. The man was silent for a moment, then let out a soft chuckle. "Don't curse yourself like that, Luo Luo."
