Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Conquering That Black Lotus 33

Chapter 33

Gu Tang glanced at the open door, then at the hand clutching his clothes. He sighed softly: “You need a key card to get up here, how did you get in?”

The large apartment he bought was one of two units on each floor, in a building with a total of eleven floors. Each resident needed their own key card to access their floor.

“None of your business.”

Jiang Huaisheng looked at Gu Tang. He had, of course, shown the property management his photo with the owner, Gu Tang, explaining their close relationship and claiming he had lost his key card and needed a replacement.

The key was that Young Master Jiang drove a luxury car, and he was also a resident of the complex. That’s right, Jiang Huaisheng also owned property in this complex, purchased during the initial sale.

Property management generally accommodated residents within reason, and with the photo and chat logs as proof, they naturally believed this wealthy-looking, rich person.

And it was just an elevator key card, not the key to the apartment itself. Since Jiang Huaisheng was willing to pay the 100 yuan replacement fee, the property management was happy to make the money.

But he wouldn’t tell Gu Tang how much effort he had put into getting in.

“Fine.” Gu Tang said, “Can you let me close the door first?”

He smiled, gesturing to the pile of things in the room: “This is my home, I’m not going anywhere.”

This was the apartment he bought with his own money, he wouldn’t abandon his assets just to avoid someone.

Moreover, he said calmly: “I’ve decided to return to China for good, my career and life are here, I won’t run away without a word.”

He wasn’t a pregnant wife running away from the CEO, and he wasn’t running away for the sake of running away. He had just wanted to avoid being disturbed and temporarily cut ties with the past.

It was difficult for Jiang Huaisheng to find him abroad, but in the country, the other party still had considerable influence. And the surveillance network in the country was much denser than abroad, with advanced big data technology.

Jiang Huaisheng looked at Gu Tang suspiciously, but finally loosened his grip. The complex had separate elevators for different sections, so the driver and bodyguards, coming up from the garage, were waiting downstairs and in the underground garage.

Gu Tang was right about one thing, he was back, and he didn’t have to worry about this guy running away again.

He had grabbed him so anxiously at first because it had been too long, and it felt like a dream. He needed to hold onto something to make sure it wasn’t a dream.

Jiang Huaisheng retreated to the sofa. The pure white cloud sofa was soft and fluffy, giving a light and airy feeling, as if floating on clouds.

Gu Tang duly closed the door and returned to continue unpacking.

With another person in the house, it was impossible to finish all the work. He temporarily stacked the unpacked boxes and refolded the opened ones.

During this time, he also brewed a pot of herbal tea.

It was autumn when he returned, and the teapot emitted the sweet fragrance of jasmine flowers.

When it was ready, he poured a cup for Jiang Huaisheng: “Have some water, the cup is new and disinfected.”

Jiang Huaisheng looked at the jasmine flowers floating in the clear water: “Didn’t you like strong tea? Why are you drinking flower tea now?”

Gu Tang said: “I had to stay up late in high school and university. Now I don’t, I’m focusing on health, so I drink flower tea.”

Strong tea could make you feel energized and prevent sleep. Moreover, scientific research showed that after the age of 25, the body would experience a sharp decline. Although he still looked young, his twenty-seven-year-old body definitely couldn’t compare to his seventeen-year-old body.

He took good care of his health, especially when studying abroad alone.

Another thing: “I’m a psychological counselor now. A psychological counselor with thick, black hair, a radiant complexion, and a healthy appearance looks much more reliable than a haggard one, doesn’t he?”

He wasn’t a surgeon. Some young doctors, to appear more experienced, lost their hair at a young age to look older and more experienced.

But it was different for psychological counselors. Firstly, this field was relatively new in the country, being young didn’t mean being unprofessional. Secondly, who would trust a mentally unhealthy doctor to cure their psychological problems?

“Psychological counselor? Aren’t you a psychiatrist?” Jiang Huaisheng looked at Gu Tang with the eyes of someone looking at a liar. Clearly, in these short three hours, he had not only instructed his driver to rush over based on Gu Tang’s phone location but also found out about the hospital that had hired him.

If Gu Tang’s senior brother hadn’t been married, the fact that he only contacted that senior brother upon returning would have been enough to completely overturn someone’s vinegar jar.

Gu Tang didn’t ask if Jiang Huaisheng had investigated him, there was no need to ask about the obvious.

But he didn’t like this look of suspicion: “It’s just a temporary transition, I’ll still open my own psychological counseling clinic.”

Compared to prescribing medication to patients, he was more interested in providing psychological counseling services.

“Yes, you didn’t lie, you deliberately concealed it.” Jiang Huaisheng’s tone became sharp, “Just like five years ago, running away without a word.”

Gu Tang sat down on the sofa beside him: “What was our relationship back then? The contract has ended, I don’t seem to need to report my future plans to you.”

Jiang Huaisheng originally thought he would feel estranged when he saw him again, but seeing his face and being in the same environment, the five years seemed to have vanished, as if Gu Tang had never left.

But hearing these words, he realized that some things had changed. The more he thought about it, the more his body trembled with anger.

The water in the cup in his hand shook. To avoid spilling it, he quickly put the cup down, his hand retracting and clenching into a fist.

“You proposed such an unreasonable contract and then ran away, do you have any morals?”

Gu Tang said: “You used to call me a bastard and a pervert.”

A casual accusation of lacking morals. It seemed the young master’s attack power hadn’t increased with age, but had decreased in the past five years.

Jiang Huaisheng threw the cup, shattering it. He stood up abruptly, his face tense, his tone icy: “I’ll get you a new one.”

No, something was wrong. The news was too sudden today, and he had come over impulsively in a state of emotional turmoil, he hadn’t performed well, he needed to leave this place first.

Perhaps because his hand was still slightly trembling, and his heart was anxious, he tried to open the door twice without success.

“What a broken door!”

Jiang Huaisheng didn’t have a mirror, otherwise he would have seen his own reflection, the expression on his face a bit neurotic.

Gu Tang’s influence on him was too great. The five years of absence hadn’t diminished it, but amplified it. Seeing him again, the pent-up emotions erupted, making it impossible for him to maintain his composure.

A pair of arms suddenly wrapped around his waist from behind, pressing Jiang Huaisheng against the door: “Jiang Huaisheng, can’t you really open the door?”

The man’s slender fingers moved slightly, and the locked door clicked open.

But before the young master could escape, Gu Tang pulled him back and kissed him forcefully on his thin lips.

Jiang Huaisheng seemed to have found an outlet for his emotions and retaliated even more fiercely. His belt was unbuckled, his expensive shirt and suit pants falling to the floor.

This was definitely not about love, purely about venting and having sex. They were not only entangled, but also struggling.

Jiang Huaisheng’s body undoubtedly hurt because Gu Tang didn’t use any lubricant.

He felt like he was being split open with an axe, and after the initial pain, he terrifyingly began to accept it.

Gu Tang whispered in his ear: “It seems my bone marrow is quite effective. You look much better than before, we should be able to be a bit more intense.”

Pain, soreness, and a strange, twisted pleasure.

Jiang Huaisheng used his nails and teeth, biting hard on this familiar yet unfamiliar body: “Bastard! Scoundrel!”

His voice was hoarse, venting his anger. If he were going to hell, he would definitely remember to drag this person down with him.

After five years, Gu Tang’s physique was still well-maintained, compared to five years ago, he had the mature charm of an adult man.

If the eighteen-year-old Gu Tang was a green, sour peach, the twenty-two-year-old Gu Tang was a ripe and juicy peach, and the twenty-seven-year-old Gu Tang was a peach-flavored cocktail.

During this time, the doorbell rang. It was a message from the property management: “Mr. Gu, your takeout has arrived.”

Delivery personnel weren’t allowed to enter the complex freely, but the security at the entrance would receive the orders and provide delivery service within the complex.

Gu Tang, through the door, despite doing something beastly and shameless, spoke in a refined and polite voice: “Okay, please hang it on the doorknob.”

Jiang Huaisheng’s body stiffened, his face turning pale. The sudden appearance of an outsider at the door, although unseen, was enough of a psychological shock to make him lose control.

In this painful struggle, he surrendered so quickly.

Gu Tang didn’t seem to notice his embarrassment. After the property staff left, he quickly opened the door and brought in his dinner.

Gu Tang had ordered a combo meal today, with extra portions of both meat and vegetables. Even through the container, the food was steaming hot and fragrant.

He opened the takeout container and picked up a piece of food to feed Jiang Huaisheng, whom he was holding in his arms.

Gu Tang said slowly: “There’s nothing else at home, make do with this, Young Master. Eat something to replenish your energy, we’ll continue later.”

攻了那朵黑蓮花
Status: Completed Author: Native Language: Chinese
Gu Tang is intelligent, handsome, and physically strong, but his childhood was unfortunate. His biological father died early, and with a stepfather came a stepmother. At a young age, he was forced to become the lackey of the wealthy young master, Jiang Huaisheng. His beautiful and fragile, dodder flower (a metaphor for a weak, dependent woman) mother tearfully said, "Mom is useless, Xiao Tang, you have to listen to your stepfather." His elite stepfather coldly and arrogantly told him, "Your reason for existence is to be a good dog for the young master." (Literally a dog, in the physical sense.) Having lost his father's protection, Gu Tang grew up in a distorted family environment, changing from lively and cheerful to silent, and then gradually becoming twisted in his silence. Usually, he acted like a docile and non-aggressive house dog, capable, obedient, and protective of his master. Until the day he became an adult, he ferociously bared his wolf fangs at his high and mighty master. Jiang Huaisheng is rich, handsome, and suffers from a rare blood disease. The illness caused him to grow into a venomous, glamorous ghost with a bright and beautiful exterior but a dark and twisted personality. He always thought that sooner or later, in his prime, he would become ugly because of his illness and then die a humiliating death under the pitying gazes of everyone. Later, his calves trembled, and he shredded the bedsheets, thinking that he might die first in the bed of Gu Tang, this psycho (someone's technique is really terrible)...
