Chapter 78: Worry
Sunlight streamed in from the window, landing right on Nuonuo’s joyful eyes.
With his little hands, he touched 006’s body, his face filled with an uncontrollable happiness. He held the little dog and spun around in place a few times.
“Liuliu can play with me from now on!”
006 was held in Nuonuo’s arms, feeling the gentle breeze from the spinning. Its fur was all puffed up, and its heart couldn’t help but feel cheerful.
In the past, it had too little energy, so 006 was always very frugal, only coming online at a fixed time every day to check on Nuonuo’s situation, and then shutting down to continue to recover.
It had originally thought it would take several years to save up enough energy to materialize into a physical form, but it never expected that Nuonuo’s ability seemed to be born to solve his predicament. Not only did it deal with that bad person, but it also gave him so much extra energy!
Both proud and happy, 006 even couldn’t help but lift its head smugly, thinking to itself, The cub I brought out is indeed so amazing!
This domineering and unreasonable ability was simply the standard for a ferocious villain!
By then, when those transmigrators came again, they could deal with them in one bite!
After spinning around, Nuonuo’s little feet were a little out of control. Just as he was about to introduce Liuliu to his brother, in the next second, his left foot stepped on his right, and he sat down on the floor in a daze.
006, who was being held, was also very dizzy. Seeing Nuonuo fall, it wanted to help him up, but its four doggy legs seemed to be completely unfamiliar with each other, and it ended up falling on its back with all four feet in the air.
Looking at the one person and one dog, who were both equally silly, Fei Jing’s slender fingers gently rested on his eyebrows, trying his best to hide the smile that was about to burst out in his eyes.
Fei Han, on the side, who was engrossed in his experiments, also sighed lightly, but in the end, he still crouched down and helped Nuonuo up from the floor.
Patting the dust off the little one’s trouser legs, his cold eyes also showed a hint of helplessness as he said, “Don’t spin around like that next time.”
Nuonuo covered his little head. It wasn’t until the dizziness had passed that he shyly wrung his little hands and said, “I won’t do it next time! Thank you, brother!”
With a shy smile, Nuonuo then picked up 006, who was lying on the ground like a little tortoise, unable to turn over.
“Liuliu, are you okay? This is my eldest brother. He even held you just now!”
Seeing Nuonuo introduce his family to him one by one, 006 quickly shook its little head, its little body burrowing into Nuonuo’s arms, expressing its refusal with its actions.
These villains’ gazes are too fierce. A little puppy like him can’t take it!
And so, just as Nuonuo finished speaking, he lowered his little head and saw that 006 was only showing a fluffy little bottom in his arms.
“Liuliu, what’s wrong with you? You can’t look at people with your bottom!”
Nuonuo pinched 006’s perky little tail and educated him in his milky voice.
But 006 completely ignored him. It hooked Nuonuo’s clothes with its little claws, closed its eyes, and directly played dead.
Seeing that 006 wasn’t answering, Nuonuo’s little eyes were full of confusion. He tilted his little head and looked at his brothers. “Is Liuliu sick? He’s not talking!”
Fei Han did notice the fear in the little dog’s eyes. The half of its little body that was exposed was trembling, and his eyes couldn’t help but show a hint of inquiry.
“Give it to me. I’ll go and check it.”
Before Fei Han could even reach out his hand, 006 let out a howl and quickly clung to the collar of Nuonuo’s chest, wishing it could bury its entire doggy self inside.
This villain is simply too scheming. If I’m handed over to him, I’ll definitely be on the experimental table in the next second!
Nuonuo was stunned by 006’s behavior. He blinked his eyes and simply held the little dog up in the air, meeting 006’s beady eyes.
“Liuliu, what’s wrong with you? Do you want to go to sleep?”
Hearing this, 006’s eyes lit up, and it quickly nodded its head frantically. “Awoo, woof—”
I want to sleep. Nuonuo, let’s go back to your bedroom quickly! If we don’t go now, I’m afraid my doggy life will be in danger!
Only then did Nuonuo let out a dazed “ya” and lifted his little head to look at his brother. “Liuliu just came out. He must be very tired. I’ll take him to sleep! We’ll play together in the afternoon!”
Fei Han didn’t want this little dog of unknown origin to go with Nuonuo. He looked at the little dog’s panicked look as it hid in Nuonuo’s arms, and the vigilance in his eyes deepened.
His cold, deep-pool-like eyes sized up 006 from top to bottom. Fei Han frowned slightly and was about to speak when he saw Nuonuo’s action of stroking the little dog’s head.
Although he himself was not much bigger, Nuonuo’s posture of coaxing the little dog to sleep was very much like a real thing. He was even mumbling something, his eyes as clear as a layer of transparent glass, filled with the joy of seeing a good friend.
For Nuonuo, 006 was indeed one of the most important and indispensable friends in his life.
They had traveled through the interstellar, seen the magnificent pink nebula, and also experienced space storms. Hiding in a small transport pod, Nuonuo had spent most of his time with 006.
Although 006 was also very unreliable and its timid personality had been complained about many times by its previous hosts, for Nuonuo, this was the system he liked the most.
“Liuliu is asleep! I’ll go and cover him with a little blanket!”
Nuonuo whispered to his brother, took light steps, and carried the little dog back to his own bedroom.
Fei Han lowered his eyes and, in the end, didn’t say anything. He leaned against the wall and couldn’t help but rub his aching forehead.
“This dog is quite interesting.”
Fei Jing, on the other hand, was not worried at all. With just one glance, he could tell that this dog had nothing in its brain.
“Don’t worry. You see how well he plays with Nuonuo. How could he be a particularly smart dog?”
Fei Han’s motion of rubbing his head paused for a moment. “…”
Although these words sounded harsh, they were strangely reasonable.
Fei Jing gently blew on the water in his teacup. The hot steam blurred his brows and eyes for a moment.
After quietly finishing his water, Fei Jing finally stood up, lifted his eyes, and said, “If you’re really not at ease, then go and see.”
Although it was unlikely that anything would happen, worry makes one muddled. If he didn’t go and see, he would always be worried.
Stretching lazily, Fei Jing thought of his packed schedule for the afternoon and sighed as he walked out. “I’m in a hurry, so I’ll be leaving first.”
Fei Han pursed his lips and, after Fei Jing left, lowered his eyes and thought for a long while before finally heading to Nuonuo’s bedroom.
He was not as perceptive as Fei Jing. Fei Han believed in science and truth. Before he could take this dog apart and figure out what it was made of, he would absolutely not let this dog stay by Nuonuo’s side.
