Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

A Shaman Doctor’s Live Diagnosis Stream! 114

Chapter 114

The Xuanmen ancestor wanted to curse, but maintaining his dignified façade, he quickly corrected himself, ‘No, I misremembered, it was my right foot.’

Wu Heng immediately retorted, “Entering with your right foot? This judge harbors malicious intent, a scheming mind! Unacceptable!”

The ancestor: ‘……’

A ghost guard couldn’t help but ask, ‘Great Shaman Doctor, then… how about… floating in?’

Wu Heng declared, “Floating? Feet not touching the ground, a sign of disrespect! A grave offense! Unacceptable!”

The ghost guard looked at the ancestor with pity, doomed either way, As he was dragged away, the ancestor’s wails echoed through the hall, ‘This is unjust! I’ll appeal…’

The other three judges trembled. A warning?

Their lord, after his tribulation, a lovestruck fool? This shaman doctor, his words, law.

Wu Heng, standing beside Shi Xuan, finally understood the meaning of “borrowed power,” he was such a kind person, giving this old man a dignified exit, instead of revealing his crimes, Shi Xuan said simply, “Investigate, I want a report on his crimes within three days,” having targeted their founder, suspecting foul play. He couldn’t just accuse him, that prophecy, although vague, was still a threat, as long as they caught him red-handed, then he’d let the underworld’s laws decide his fate, Three days later, a ten-thousand-word report detailing his crimes: abuse of power, inciting rebellion, even embezzling his disciples’ salaries.

Fortunately, his plan failed, the human world mostly unaffected, ordinary people not so easily swayed.

Shi Xuan stripped him of his judgeship, sentencing him to a hundred years of hard labor, planting trees.

Shi Zongguang dreamt of the underworld, a dreary, foggy landscape, ghosts floating around excitedly, and then a familiar, mocking voice beside him, ‘Open your eyes and look closely!’

He turned and saw her, his deceased wife, Jiang Lisha, and overjoyed. ‘Lisha!’ he cried but then, ‘What are you looking at me for? Look!’ she snapped, He looked and saw a procession of sixty-four ghost guards carrying a black palanquin, Shi Xuan, dressed in his Yama robes, an enthronement ceremony, Wu Heng by his side, and seeing Shi Xuan offer him a seat, Wu Heng, ever considerate, shook his head, staying beside him instead, Shi Zongguang froze, finally understanding this dream, Shi Xuan. a young Yama, calmly accepting the cheers of his subjects, but also his friend, his brother, Shi Zongguang, regaining consciousness, sat up in bed, his body covered in cold sweat, He scrambled out of bed and ran, barefoot, and Wu Su, seeing his frantic demeanor. ‘Holy crap, Mr. Shi? Don’t tell me those broken porcelain pieces were my fault?’

Was this early morning rage?

Mr. Shi ignored him, running after Shi Xuan and Wu Heng, who were on their way to school.

“Shi Xuan,” he called out, and Wu Su’s mind raced. Was this a relapse? He had to protect Shi Xuan, practically his own son, what would Mr. Shi think now?,

Mr. Shi looked at him, his son, taller now, wanting to say so much, then simply said, his voice thick with emotion, “I’m sorry, I was wrong, I… I failed you, as a father…

Wu Heng, glancing at Shi Xuan, saw his hand, gripping his bag strap, tighten, then Shi Xuan turned around, his gaze unwavering, their eyes met, a silent acknowledgement. He said softly, “I know.”

“…And… thank you, for believing in Mom, for trusting me, for letting Steward Wu take me.”

He knew Shi Zongguang was a man of principles, duty above all else, prioritizing his work, protecting society, his neglect, a form of sacrifice, he and his father, their relationship strained, their love, perhaps never like a normal family’s, but this, this was enough, Shi Xuan turned to Wu Heng, and he smiled, placing a piece of bread in his hand, then took a bottle of milk, as they walked towards the garage together, Wu Su watching them leave, turned to Shi Zongguang, stunned, “Did he just apologize?” He chuckled. He gained a son!

Shi Zongguang sighed, glancing at Wu Su, “You’ve gained weight again?” he asked, slightly exasperated.

Wu Su’s smug grin vanished, “Well, I…”

Shi Zongguang went back inside, then said casually, “You’ve been doing a good job, Steward Wu, a bonus this month,” and Wu Su’s jaw dropped. A bonus? Should he… gain more weight?

The setting sun painted the sky gold. Young men, their bodies glistening with sweat, played basketball on the court, cheers erupting from the spectators as the ball swished through the net.

It was their second semester of senior year. After the mock exams, this basketball tournament was a welcome break, He Yunxiao and Li Hao, still rivals, glaring at each other, while Wu Heng, a towel draped over his shoulder, took a long gulp of the water Shi Xuan handed him. They couldn’t get Shi Xuan to join the team, but Wu Heng’s presence was enough, the entire school knew, inseparable, those two, even more so after their coming-of-age ceremony, a true power couple at their High School. Perhaps due to his personality, more and more admirers, his kindness. He treated classmates for all sorts of minor ailments and their more personal troubles, even Shi Xuan seemed to tolerate those affections, as long as he had Wu Heng. Hearing his name from the stands. Shi Xuan was happy, He saw Wu Heng, their closeness obvious, as Shi Xuan carried him around now, Wu Heng’s hand on the top of his head to steady himself as his legs swung lightly against Shi Xuan’s side.

“Ah—! Li Hao, you bastard, I’ll kill you! Help, this hurts!” He Yunxiao’s scream suddenly echoed from the court, his anguish palpable.

Li Hao, startled, immediately backed away. “I barely touched him! What? Is he made of glass or something? What happened?!”

He Yunxiao clutched his leg, wailing on the floor. Everyone froze, staring at Wu Heng, after three years, they knew he was the real deal, they even said the powerful Xuanmen had officially recognized him, Wu Heng, handing Shi Xuan his unfinished water bottle. And noticing Shi Xuan drain the bottle and nonchalantly toss it perfectly into the trash can, Wu Heng ran towards He Yunxiao, Shi Xuan following, “It hurts! It really hurts! Is it broken?!” He Yunxiao cried. Seeing Wu Heng approach.

Wu Heng, his face grim, looked at the two puncture wounds on his ankle, faint traces of Yin qi lingering, “You’ve been bitten by a snake.”

He Yunxiao had warmed up to snakes ever since Wu Heng told him about their “connection”, rescuing harmless ones, he had even released one on the mountain yesterday, and Li Hao and his friends were bewildered. No snakes on the court, perhaps a snake spirit, invisible? Targeting him specifically? How bizarre.

“Venomous? Do we need antivenom,” they asked, concerned about this close friend, He Yunxiao, one of them.

Wu Heng looked at him, choosing his words carefully, afraid of startling him.

“Any… dreams lately? Strange wishes?”

He Yunxiao, blushing slightly, said, his voice hesitant. “Nothing… much. Just heard the girls talking about… you know, wanting to give birth for you, stuff like that, repeated it, doesn’t really count as a wish…” then seeing Shi Xuan’s cold gaze,

“Shi Xuan, don’t misunderstand. Nothing… inappropriate between us, we’re just classmates. I was just joking around…” he stammered.

Li Hao, his imagination running wild, “Holy crap, a baby?! Between He Yunxiao and Wu Heng?! Can men give birth too?! This world is crazy,”

The air in the room instantly turned colder, the Yin qi intensifying, and He Yunxiao, on the verge of a mental breakdown, “Seriously?! I’m… I’m pregnant?! But… but… a child with Wu Heng… good-looking, no, he’s not the problem here. But… this is…“, and Wu Heng, seeing Shi Xuan’s face harden in displeasure, placed his hand gently on his wrist. Still wearing his braid bracelet, and the Yin qi, like a dam bursting open now controlled again, Wu Heng smiled inwardly at his jealousy and clarified, “No, it’s a snake, but… nothing to do with me. Remember I mentioned your affinity with snakes? It’s a blessing. A guardian spirit, one of the Five Immortals.”

He Yunxiao, seeing Li Hao and his friends laughing, glared at them, “Fuck off! Wait till I give birth to a little snake daughter, then you’ll be the envious ones!” They mocked him, really envious?

Wang Dong, however, was concerned, “It’s almost exam time, how will this affect his studies?”

Wu Heng chuckled. “That’s why the snake bit your ankle. The spiritual energy will slowly travel upwards through your meridians. It should form… around the time of the exam. Then it’s your choice. You can keep it, a father-child bond, or I can dispel it for you.”

He Yunxiao, whose dreams often featured a little gray snake now, and having no negative feelings towards it, said he would think about it, and Li Hao, seeing this, couldn’t pass up the drama. “Seriously? Thinking about it?! This isn’t a love proposal or something.” he thought as they followed him out,

Wu Heng locked the changing room door, his gaze on Shi Xuan now changing clothes to leave, “Fated encounters indeed,”

A spirit snake, repaying a favor, with such pure energy, and just one egg, such fate, Shi Xuan looked at him. “Ours too?” he asked softly, his eyes searching his, meeting his, If he hadn’t met him, how would it have even started? His family’s legacy? Those practitioners’ judgments about him?, A dark and lonely existence. Wu Heng had changed everything, pulled him from that cold loneliness, this new life, those subtle shifts in behavior, he understood him better than any human or other supernatural being had ever had. And that longing in his eyes was a language all its own, Wu Heng grabbed his clothes and quickly turned away, “Reunited with your true power, and you still can’t control your Yin qi?” he teased. and Shi Xuan simply said, “Sorry, lost control,” and Wu Heng smiled, turning to face him, “But I… kind of liked it,” his gaze meeting Shi Xuan’s, the mutual amusement in their eyes, a spark of understanding.

The day of the college entrance exam, the scene outside the examination hall chaotic. Students and anxious parents, some even fainting from the heat and the pressure, Wu Su, also feeling nervous, fidgeting, his two sons’ future at stake, he had single-handedly raised them, the air-conditioned car parked under a tree, and as he fidgeted, a handheld video game console in hand, Shi Zongguang, in the passenger seat, reading reports on his tablet, unable to focus. He said, irritated, “Steward Wu, a little quieter, please. I’m trying to work,” although their relationship strained, it was still his son, his only child, he wanted to know his results and also check on Wu Heng’s scores.

Wu Su chuckled. “Still playing CEO? Even in the car? You came to see your son, admit it!

He waved his game console triumphantly. “And unlike you, I’m being authentic,” he announced. And Shi Zongguang felt he had a point, never having cared much for working anyway. He’d rather game, Shi Zongguang stepped out for a smoke. and by the time he returned, he heard the bell. As the students began pouring out of the exam hall, live streams on, a sea of faces, then the cameras stopped. Focused now, two young men, their faces handsome, each with their pencil cases. And their hands clasped together.

The noise of other classmates around made Wu Heng and Shi Xuan grin at each other and they headed towards their shared future, those dreams they dared to dream, hand-in-hand.

Wu Heng, the most powerful shaman doctor of ancient times, woke up to find himself transmigrated into a novel, becoming the grandson of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Remembering how his steward father, obsessed with gossip in the wealthy circles, was callously discarded by a domineering CEO and died impoverished, Wu Heng decided to start a live stream to earn a fortune for his dear old dad! A new live stream channel called "Chengde Medical Clinic" appeared on the Shark platform. Although the streamer claimed to have centuries of medical experience and loved to brag, his exceptional good looks attracted a number of fans obsessed with his appearance. Until—— ① A wealthy madam, who had sought medical treatment everywhere to no avail, came to the live stream with her pot-bellied son. Wu Heng diagnosed remotely: "Pregnant. Pregnant with lots of snake babies." In a blink of an eye, Wu Heng performed a shamanic dance, and the young man immediately retched, vomiting countless live little snakes. Wealthy Madam & Netizens: What the fuck??!! ② A 20-year-old campus heartthrob, a landlubber his whole life, suddenly sprouted fish scales all over his body overnight, mastering butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke without any training, determined to dominate the Olympics and win glory for the country. Wu Heng connected online for a diagnosis: "If you let this condition develop further, you'll turn into a mermaid." The campus heartthrob was thrilled that he was about to become a mermaid prince from a fairytale, with fans all over the world. Wu Heng curiously asked: "A mermaid with a fish head and a human body is acceptable too?" The campus heartthrob froze: Wait, what kind of head?? ③ A genius of Chinese painting, blind for many years, held onto the last sliver of hope and asked: "Is there any chance for me to regain my sight?" Wu Heng shook his head frankly: "Your eyes are completely dead." The genius painter despaired, but the next moment Wu Heng directly seized the malicious ghost that caused his blindness and performed a live organ transplant. The painting genius, not only regaining his sight but also gaining yin-yang eyes: "...!" Netizens: ...God, a divine doctor! Later, patients who frequently lost their heads would sneak in at night, carrying seven or eight heads, begging Wu Heng to pick the prettiest one and sew it back on. A female teacher, dead for three years, dragged her already decayed and stinking body, inquiring about Wu Heng's method of lighting a sky lantern to extend her life. Countless patients suffering from strange illnesses came from all directions, making the live stream incredibly popular.
In recent years, China has been experiencing a spiritual invasion, with a proliferation of demons and ghosts, and countless people inexplicably suffering from all sorts of bizarre illnesses. Just when everyone was at their wit's end, Wu Heng, who could cure diseases, tell fortunes, draw talismans, catch ghosts, and even perform shamanic dances, entered their field of vision. The number of viewers in the live stream continued to grow, with netizens constantly switching between "Holy crap, a shaman doctor who communicates with the heavens and the underworld is just awesome" and "Wife is so cool and strong, let me kiss you to death," and they even spontaneously formed a Wu Heng Protection Alliance. Until one day, netizens saw Wu Heng nestled in the arms of a cold young man full of evil aura, his face flushed with drunkenness. The young man's icy lips lightly nibbled on the white flesh of his nape, asking when Wu Heng would finally stop seeing patients and accompany him. As the young man's expression grew increasingly gloomy, the surrounding resentment soared to the heavens. Wu Heng gritted his teeth: "Stop emitting resentment and creating new patients for me!" Wu Heng imitated the method the young man had diligently taught him last night, planting a kiss on the young man's lips. In an instant, the yin energy around the young man disappeared completely, and his smiling lips let out a satisfied sigh.

The what if truly the best thing!
The author even painted the Father Shi as someone not evil, but just lead ashtray. And that’s why in the main story our ML won’t judge him himself and just let the Underworld Law give/punish what he deserve. But based on the OG novel, he did get corrupted and that’s why the OG Wu Su died.
This novel truly told us there’s 3 type of ending. The Always HE because Childhood Friends tropes, and the True Ending aka this novel, and the BE aka the OG novel.

All in all I love how the author doesn’t drag the extras Story. Everypart was with suitable portion. And the relationship between our MC and ML explained as Clear as Crystal.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THE HARDWORKS IN TRANSLATING THIS NOVEL TILL COMPLETED!!!! 🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇 XENDLESSEVERLASTINGEXTREMEGRATEFULNESS ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️
