A Shaman Doctor’s Live Diagnosis Stream! 43p2

Chapter 43 Part 2

Han Ye rubbed his eyes, thinking he was seeing things. The underworld also had a college entrance exam? He had just taken one, why another one?!

Han Ye complained inwardly, then, turning around, he saw Yang Zhiyuan and his wheelchair-bound father, Yang Xing, and a blood-red shadow floating in mid-air, staring intently at the man in the wheelchair.

“Welcome to the examination hall, please go through security and take your seats. This is the underworld’s first Comprehensive College Entrance Exam, Paper A: 100 points, Paper B: 80 points, Bonus Questions: 5 points, total score: 185cm.”

‘The total score is 185 points… wait, 185cm?’ Han Ye’s eyes widened. ‘If I get a perfect score, Doctor Wu will cure me and I can even grow to 185cm?’

He had been perfectly content with his 180cm height, never dreaming of 185cm.

Yang Zhiyuan and his father remained unmoved. Wu Heng smiled and explained, “Considering Mr. Yang hasn’t reviewed the material for many years, to ensure fairness, father and son can share one test paper and their scores will be combined.”

The middle-aged man in the wheelchair’s eyes flickered. ‘The score I get will be applied to me? If it’s a high score, I can stand up again?’

Wu Heng said pointedly, “I’m a shaman doctor, your illness wasn’t an accident but an ailment caused by your past sins, I can cure it.”

Yang Xing’s heart pounded.

He had become disabled in an accident at the age of twenty-four. A practitioner later told him it was karmic retribution for stealing the university acceptance letter of a student with the same name from a remote village, causing the student to jump into the river and die.

That death was his fault, so he was punished by the underworld, confined to a wheelchair.

The practitioner said “shoes” and “evil” were homophones, and to suppress the Yin energy, he should work in the shoe industry.

Over the years, he had worked hard, building his business from nothing, although he was always the shortest person in any room, no one dared to underestimate him, he had become the shoe tycoon.

But anyone confined to a wheelchair surely dreamt of walking again. Yang Xing was no exception.

After decades in a wheelchair, he desperately wanted to stand up again! And Wu Heng was offering him that opportunity.

This was an irresistible temptation.

Before his son could refuse, Yang Xing eagerly agreed. ‘Alright!’

Yang Xing’s academic performance might not be exceptional, but his son, Yang Zhiyuan, was a top student who got into Beijing Medical University based purely on merit!

Han Ye, inwardly complaining about this father-son duo taking the exam together, noticed the shadow floating nearby holding an old admission ticket with the name “Yang Xing” written on it.

‘Godfather, let’s form a temporary father-son team and take the exam together!’ Han Ye suddenly said to Yang Xing.

Yang Xing: ‘?’

Yang Xing was stunned. He was only twenty-four when he died, had never even held a girl’s hand, let alone had children, and now, retaking the college entrance exam, he even had a godson to take it with?

Yang Xing didn’t care about height, he just wanted the acceptance letter, especially one from Beijing University of Science and Technology.

‘Where am I?’ Principal Li asked, confused, standing at the door.

Seeing Yang Xing in the wheelchair, Principal Li’s face darkened, and he strode forward. ‘Yang Xing, is what they’re saying online true?’

This shoe tycoon, Yang Xing, was a distinguished alumnus of Beijing University of Science and Technology! The scandal today almost made Principal Li faint, it had even tarnished the university’s reputation.

Wu Heng clapped his hands. “Examiner Li has arrived, everyone, take your seats, the exam is about to begin.”

Perhaps due to his wandering soul state, Principal Li was slightly dazed as he checked their information and distributed the test papers.

Han Ye whispered encouragingly, ‘New Godfather, let’s aim for 180cm, fight for 185cm! Let’s go!’

Yang Xing glared at the middle-aged man in the wheelchair and then turned to his newly acquired son, snapping, ‘Have some ambition! Get a perfect score and the acceptance letter! If you don’t get a perfect score, then die with me!’

Han Ye: ‘…’

Alright, this studious godfather had quite a temper.

Paper A, although worth 100 points, was relatively easier than Paper B, so his father would take that one.

Han Ye and Yang Zhiyuan, having just finished the college entrance exam, answered the questions quickly.

Han Ye chuckled as he wrote, muttering, ‘8cm secured, 10cm for this question! I’m going to be a handsome 185cm university student!’

The little white snake stood outside the clinic window, enviously watching Han Ye earn centimeters. Its human form was a ten-year-old boy, envious of tall people.

Seeing Wu Heng preparing medicine, the little white snake quickly wrapped its tail around Zhou Yi’s leg and dragged him over. “Wu Heng, Zhou Yi said he wants to recognize me as his godfather so he can retake the college entrance exam.

Zhou Yi was horrified. “?”

I didn’t! That’s not true! Don’t make things up!

Wu Heng retorted, “Don’t mess up the seniority.”

Indeed, understanding human nature, but not quite.

As the night deepened, the lights in the clinic remained bright, the faint sound of writing echoing.

Yang Zhiyuan’s forehead was covered in sweat. He knew he was dreaming, but he couldn’t wake up.

Among the four examinees, he, Yang Zhiyuan, was the only one who didn’t need this.

Yang Xing wanted the acceptance letter, Han Ye wanted to be 185cm tall, his father wanted to walk again, and he, who needed nothing, was forced to participate.

That quack shaman doctor Wu Heng knew everything and was clearly doing this intentionally.

‘Fine, let’s take the exam. I don’t believe I’ll be stepped on by you again, Han Ye.’

The examinees answered the questions quickly. The initial questions were normal college entrance exam material, a mix of different subjects, then they became increasingly bizarre.

Fill in the blanks—

“Yang Xing didn’t meet the admission requirements, but he used ________ to successfully enroll in Beijing University of Science and Technology.”

Yang Xing’s hand trembled, and his pen rolled off the desk.

Short answer question—

“Please explain in detail how Yang Xing replaced Yang Xing from Hezipo Town and became a student at Beijing University of Science and Technology?”

Yang Xing’s face turned livid, he had no idea how to answer this 12-point question.

“After indirectly causing the death of Yang Xing from Hezipo Town, what did Yang Xing do to suppress such a sinister event?”

Yang Xing, seeing the last question, lost control, memories flooding his mind like a rewinding movie, and he roared, ‘I did steal his acceptance letter, but I became the shoe tycoon through my own hard work! I have the ability, why are you still holding on to this after so many years?!’

Enraged, he was about to rip up the test paper, unwilling to relive his past.

Wu Heng’s voice came from above, “If you tear up Paper A, you’ll only have Paper B, 80cm, plus 5cm from the bonus questions.”

Yang Xing froze, not daring to rip it now.

After all, him being in a wheelchair was already a fact, and would he let his beloved son, Yang Zhiyuan, become a disabled 85cm person?

Yang Zhiyuan’s face instantly turned pale.

They finally understood, this damned underworld exam was a trap set by Wu Heng to torment them, forcing them to confront their past.

Han Ye almost laughed out loud, now Yang Zhiyuan, that villain, knew the fear of shrinking, didn’t he?

Han Ye deliberately gestured at his waist and mouthed the word “shorty” to Yang Zhiyuan, who shouted angrily, ‘Dad, don’t screw me over!’

‘I’ll write! I’ll write!’ Yang Xing unfolded the crumpled test paper, his trembling hand picking up the pen and answering the questions truthfully.

As long as his will was strong enough, what were these questions with already known answers? These were free points! He should even thank Wu Heng!

Yang Xing knew from the practitioner that those who dealt with the supernatural valued promises. Once a promise was made, it had to be kept. Since Wu Heng said he would cure him based on his score, he would definitely do it. He had a real chance of walking again!

Who was afraid of whom?!

As the clock struck midnight, the four examinees put down their pens.

Principal Li of Beijing University of Science and Technology, tasked with grading the papers, was shocked by the answers he read.

‘I see… I see…’

This wasn’t an exam, it was a confession!

What distinguished alumnus, this was a villain who stole someone else’s acceptance letter!

If he wasn’t a wandering soul, unable to faint, Principal Li would have passed out from anger. Their prestigious university, almost a hundred years old, had actually accepted such a person and even been proud of him for years.

He then looked at Yang Xing and Han Ye’s papers. The former’s handwriting was neat and upright, each character imbued with the blood, sweat, and tears of years of hard work and studying.

Principal Li could almost see the young man from a remote village in the southwest, decades ago, studying diligently while helping with farm work, reading under the dim kerosene lamp late at night, striving to escape poverty through education.

And Yang Xing’s bonus question was: Why didn’t you receive your acceptance letter back then?

This time, Yang Xing didn’t suspect that he had answered a simple multiple-choice question incorrectly, or that the postman had made a mistake, but wrote four trembling characters with his pen:

“Stolen by another.”

A dried tear stain from a ghost was visible above those four characters.

Principal Li’s heart broke. This should have been his university’s distinguished alumnus!

Yang Zhiyuan and his father didn’t care about the sentimental scene, repeatedly asking for their scores.

They didn’t care about the process, only the results.

Principal Li counted the scores. ‘185, both of you scored 185.’

Yang Zhiyuan’s eyes widened. He rushed to the table and asked excitedly, ‘I got a perfect score? The same as Han Ye? I didn’t lose to him? We’re equal?’

He wasn’t being stepped on by that villain Han Ye anymore?

Han Ye was happy about getting a perfect score with his new godfather but rolled his eyes.

This shameless father-son duo could answer even those soul-crushing questions truthfully, without any hesitation, they deserved the points.

Wu Heng leaned closer and said, “Your father seems to have filled out his admission ticket number incorrectly.”

Yang Zhiyuan’s world crumbled. ‘?’

What, filled it out incorrectly?

A new live stream channel called "Chengde Medical Clinic" appeared on the Shark platform. Until—— ① A wealthy madam, who had sought medical treatment everywhere to no avail, came to the live stream with her pot-bellied son. Wu Heng diagnosed remotely: "Pregnant. Pregnant with lots of snake babies." In a blink of an eye, Wu Heng performed a shamanic dance, and the young man immediately retched, vomiting countless live little snakes. Wealthy Madam & Netizens: What the fuck??!! ② A 20-year-old campus heartthrob, a landlubber his whole life, suddenly sprouted fish scales all over his body overnight, mastering butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke without any training, determined to dominate the Olympics and win glory for the country. Wu Heng connected online for a diagnosis: "If you let this condition develop further, you'll turn into a mermaid." The campus heartthrob was thrilled that he was about to become a mermaid prince from a fairytale, with fans all over the world. Wu Heng curiously asked: "A mermaid with a fish head and a human body is acceptable too?" The campus heartthrob froze: Wait, what kind of head?? ③ A genius of Chinese painting, blind for many years, held onto the last sliver of hope and asked: "Is there any chance for me to regain my sight?" Wu Heng shook his head frankly: "Your eyes are completely dead." The genius painter despaired, but the next moment Wu Heng directly seized the malicious ghost that caused his blindness and performed a live organ transplant. The painting genius, not only regaining his sight but also gaining yin-yang eyes: "...!" Netizens: ...God, a divine doctor! Later, patients who frequently lost their heads would sneak in at night, carrying seven or eight heads, begging Wu Heng to pick the prettiest one and sew it back on. A female teacher, dead for three years, dragged her already decayed and stinking body, inquiring about Wu Heng's method of lighting a sky lantern to extend her life. Countless patients suffering from strange illnesses came from all directions, making the live stream incredibly popular.
In recent years, China has been experiencing a spiritual invasion, with a proliferation of demons and ghosts, and countless people inexplicably suffering from all sorts of bizarre illnesses. Just when everyone was at their wit's end, Wu Heng, who could cure diseases, tell fortunes, draw talismans, catch ghosts, and even perform shamanic dances, entered their field of vision. The number of viewers in the live stream continued to grow, with netizens constantly switching between "Holy crap, a shaman doctor who communicates with the heavens and the underworld is just awesome" and "Wife is so cool and strong, let me kiss you to death," and they even spontaneously formed a Wu Heng Protection Alliance. Until one day, netizens saw Wu Heng nestled in the arms of a cold young man full of evil aura, his face flushed with drunkenness. The young man's icy lips lightly nibbled on the white flesh of his nape, asking when Wu Heng would finally stop seeing patients and accompany him. As the young man's expression grew increasingly gloomy, the surrounding resentment soared to the heavens. Wu Heng gritted his teeth: "Stop emitting resentment and creating new patients for me!" Wu Heng imitated the method the young man had diligently taught him last night, planting a kiss on the young man's lips. In an instant, the yin energy around the young man disappeared completely, and his smiling lips let out a satisfied sigh.
