Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

After Faking a Disability, I Married the New Chief Sentinel 78

Chapter 78: Holding the Hem of His Clothes

This was a normal but busy day. It wasn’t until evening that the wedding matters that needed to be arranged came to an end.
After dealing with these, it also meant that the next few days would be relatively easier.
To celebrate finally being able to stay at home and not have to worry about anything, Zhu Hui enthusiastically made a big meal.
He claimed that he had been secretly studying recipes since he came back. This time, he didn’t need Xu Xunyue’s help—including adjusting his sensitivity—and he would definitely be able to make the dinner both delicious and romantic.
When Xu Xunyue heard Zhu Hui say this, he knew he was up to something. He smiled and didn’t expose him, and left the kitchen to let him do his thing.
As for what Zhu Hui would come up with…
His own Sentinel, the things he thought about were nothing more than those few things. He would just deal with it according to the situation.
Xu Xunyue had just seen Zhu Hui take a bottle of wine into the kitchen. It was the one the tavern owner had given them when they went to Ghost Town.
While waiting for Zhu Hui to do his thing, Xu Xunyue checked his terminal, preparing to make his last information reply for the next few days.
Coincidentally, the person from the agency responsible for taking the wedding photos—not the kind of photos on the marriage certificate, but the outdoor location shoot before the wedding—sent a message.

[Photographer: Can we shoot three days from now? The shooting time will only take one day.]

This was to confirm the date with him. Xu Xunyue thought for a long time and typed a few words on the screen.

[Let’s do it in five days.]

He always felt that three days was not enough.
After a few more words with the other party, the matter was settled.
Just as Xu Xunyue was about to exit the chat interface, he felt a fluffy touch at his feet. He looked down and met a pair of crystal clear amber eyes.
The snow wolf had run out of Zhu Hui’s spiritual landscape.
It was probably Zhu Hui’s subconscious at work. No matter whether Xu Xunyue was in a dangerous environment or not, he and his own spiritual body always had to have one of them by Xu Xunyue’s side.
Ever since the contamination core was completely resolved, the temperature on this land had been slowly rising.
The heating was on in the house. Xu Xunyue was only wearing a single layer of clothes. The fluffy, warm feeling rubbing against his leg became even more obvious.
He swiped through the terminal interface and reached out with his other hand to rub the snow wolf’s ears.
He only rubbed it a few times before he withdrew his hand, but the shadows poured out from his fingertips and firmly wrapped around the snow wolf’s body.
The snow wolf was clearly comfortable from being petted. It squinted its eyes and shook its ears, whimpering at Xu Xunyue.

[You can hear what I’m thinking, right? Mmm-hmm, do you know what little Hui is going to do this time?]
[If you want to know, I can tell you!]

Xu Xunyue raised an eyebrow, a little surprised.
Does Zhu Hui know that his spiritual body is leaking his thoughts everywhere?
Judging from the orderly sounds coming from the kitchen, probably not.
Xu Xunyue also pretended not to know. He shook his head and communicated with the wolf using his spiritual power:

[Then tell me?]

The snow wolf’s tail was about to stick up in pride, and a soft airflow sound came from its throat.

[Little Hui is going to use that wine to cook. The rest of the wine will be for you to drink. That wine has that kind of ingredient, you know, the kind that—]
[He knows!]

The shadows wrapped around the snow wolf’s body loudly backstabbed.
Xu Xunyue: “…”
He had rejoiced too soon. It seemed his own spiritual body was not honest either.
And the dishonest spiritual body was still chattering on, with no intention of holding back.

[Sigh, how come you and that Sentinel are so easy to fool.]
[Like master, like spiritual body.]
[Well said.]
[Thank goodness we’re here. What would this family do without us!]
[Exactly.]
[Without us, you would be tricked into a tizzy. But with us, you only need to be bullied by us.]

Snow wolf: “?”
Xu Xunyue felt that he could even see the big question mark appearing on the wolf’s forehead—that was the double effect caused by himself and his spiritual body.
He held back his laughter and continued to reply to the message. After he had dealt with these, Zhu Hui had also finished making dinner.
The portion for two people was not much. The main effort was spent on the taste and the presentation. Xu Xunyue helped to set the bowls and chopsticks on the balcony.
The few dishes were illuminated by the faint light of the evening, and with the not-so-bright small lights and candles, plus the two glasses of wine Zhu Hui had poured, it really had a bit of a romantic atmosphere.
The spiritual bodies had long since run off to play elsewhere. Only they were on the balcony. Xu Xunyue took the wine glass Zhu Hui handed him without any fuss and found that the other had rarely reined in his emotions. He could only hear the thumping of his heart and his blank thoughts.
He probably didn’t want him to see through him.
However, it wasn’t just his thoughts that would give him away.
Xu Xunyue didn’t think Zhu Hui’s alcohol tolerance was better than his own. On the contrary, Zhu Hui was probably the type who had never touched alcohol before.
The Sentinel Academy was very strict with its control of stimulating drinks. The military was better, but on the surface, you couldn’t drink during missions. Besides, Zhu Hui looked like the kind of role model who was usually self-disciplined.
Xu Xunyue himself was different. Alcohol had no extra negative effects on Guides. In a prosperous and social place like the Imperial Capital, if you stayed for a long time, you would always have to attend a few banquets. As long as you went, you would inevitably have a few drinks at the banquet.
Earlier, he had had a drinking contest with the Minister of Finance, who often held banquets, and had drunk him under the table. Although he hadn’t drunk much in the past three years, dealing with one Zhu Hui was still very easy—Zhu Hui had poured the same amount of wine in their glasses.
The two of them sat opposite each other, and the Sentinel’s expression was clear at a glance. It was no different from what he had expected. He had blushed from the first sip, and his ears had also turned red very quickly.
Zhu Hui didn’t care about his own state at all. He was absent-minded and trying to act calm, while secretly observing Xu Xunyue out of the corner of his eye, and all of this was taken in by the person in question.
Xu Xunyue was still unhurried. He would occasionally chat with Zhu Hui, and from time to time, he would praise the taste of the food, bringing the other’s scattered attention back.
And so, back and forth, time was extended, and dinner proceeded very slowly. In the end, it had become a casual activity.
The sun had completely set. The wolf, covered in shadows, ran up and down the stairs and in the living room, and it was unknown how many times it had flashed.
And Zhu Hui’s seat had also changed from opposite Xu Xunyue to next to him.
Although he didn’t drink much each time, he still finished the wine in his glass. Now his eyes were a little unfocused, and his arm was gently rubbing against Xu Xunyue’s.
Xu Xunyue’s arm was rubbed but he didn’t react. He just looked at his Sentinel with a smile in his eyes, wanting to know how far he could go.
“…”
The two of them looked at each other for a long time. As if something had been triggered, Zhu Hui suddenly put his glass on the table, stood up quickly, and sat down again—this time on Xu Xunyue’s lap.
Like a koala climbing up a tall, slender tree, and very dishonestly, he began to touch and feel, including but not limited to pecking kisses, messing up Xu Xunyue’s hair, and saying small things.
“Why isn’t brother touching me…”
From his tone, he was even a little aggrieved.
Xu Xunyue had just put his arm around his lower back when he couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
He patted the end of Zhu Hui’s spine and hummed with an unknown meaning, gesturing for Zhu Hui to continue.
Zhu Hui reacted a little slowly and looked at him for a few seconds, probably wondering why he still had to speak.
Alright, he hadn’t planned to say anything, but since his brother wanted to hear, he would say a little more.
He spent a few more seconds composing his thoughts in his mind and expressed himself in a strange, broken sentence, his voice like cotton pulled from water:
“Brother, you clearly saw it, but you didn’t hug me or touch me all this time. You’re very cunning.”
The pheromones of fresh snow quietly floated out.
“…Brother seduced me into seducing him.”
Zhu Hui made his final conclusion.
Xu Xunyue was so amused by his drunken, strange language that he couldn’t help it. His other hand, which was not holding him, went behind his head and took off his loose hair tie.
Zhu Hui’s gaze shifted between his own and Xu Xunyue’s clothes. He frowned a little, probably struggling internally with whether to start with the other’s clothes or his own when seducing. In the end, his remaining logic won, and his fingers reached for the hem of his own shirt—
“No need.”
Xu Xunyue’s voice interrupted the Sentinel’s action of rolling up his shirt.
“Seduction is not like this,” he held Zhu Hui’s two wrists and rescued the hem of his shirt from them. “I’ll show you the version that suits me best.”
If the person in question were to teach him personally, the effect would of course be the best. Zhu Hui would never go against Xu Xunyue’s ideas to begin with, and now he was even more dazed and nodded, waiting with bated breath for Xu Xunyue to teach him.
Then his two hands were placed behind his back, his wrists crossed, and bound together by the rubber band Xu Xunyue had just untied.
This was not the end. Zhu Hui was stunned for a moment after his hands were tied. He was about to speak when he saw Xu Xunyue pick up the hem of his clothes again and lift it to his lips.
“Bite it. Don’t let it fall.”
He said with a smile, his tone like a coaxing yet a command, his blue eyes filled with a blatant mischief and aggression, and the prey being stared at was completely unaware.
Zhu Hui tremblingly bit the piece of fabric.
Because of the command “don’t let it fall,” he temporarily lost the chance to speak and could only look at Xu Xunyue with those sharp, yet now moist eyes, the meaning of pleasing and infatuation could not be stronger.
Xu Xunyue also praised him, “Very good. Keep it up.” He also gently stroked Zhu Hui’s hair.
Then, under Zhu Hui’s gaze, he took out a tube of lubricant from his jacket pocket—yes, his jacket pocket.
Zhu Hui was stunned.
Xu Xunyue didn’t care what kind of storm was raging in his heart. After taking out the small tube, he patted the Sentinel’s lower back, gesturing for him to kneel up.
Zhu Hui did as he was told, and so his pants were pulled down to his knees, and the wet and sticky liquid was squeezed onto his fingertips.
Xu Xunyue saw him blink at him several times, feeling that the other wanted to say something, but considering the hem of his clothes he was holding in his mouth, he didn’t make a sound in the end.
The prey was so cooperative, so Xu Xunyue was even more unwilling to let him go. If Zhu Hui had acted coquettishly at this time, he might have softened.
He led Zhu Hui’s tied hands inward, at the same time blocking his pain. After guiding him to the place, he completely withdrew his hand.
“I said before, you’re not allowed to touch yourself without my permission. Did you do it?” Xu Xunyue asked, knowing the answer.
Zhu Hui nodded in a flurry, his breathing becoming disordered.
He had a faint premonition that the possibility he had thought of before was probably about to be realized.
He couldn’t tell if he was happy or embarrassed… alright, alright, he actually liked it. No matter what form or method, being able to be more intimate with his brother was the best. Other things had to be put aside.
As expected, Xu Xunyue said the second command.
“Now you can touch yourself.”

After Faking a Disability, I Married the New Chief Sentinel

装残疾后和新任首席哨兵结婚了
Status: Completed Author: Native Language: Chinese
As the Empire's "once-in-a-century" Offensive Guide, everyone knew of Xu Xunyue. He had once led his squad out of a cataclysm zone completely unscathed and established himself in the Imperial Capital through his own power. However, his legs were crippled during an off-site mission. Afterwards, he resigned from his post to live in seclusion, his personality becoming moody and unpredictable. Feeling deeply guilty, the Emperor pushed a marriage contract on him as compensation. And the other party to this marriage? None other than this year's newly selected Chief Sentinel.
On their wedding night, Xu Xunyue, having finished washing up, was sitting in his wheelchair reading a book, wrapped in a thick robe. The young Sentinel, arriving late, pushed open the door. His face was expressionless, his gaze as sharp as a knife, but within two seconds, he was thrown into a bonding heat. Xu Xunyue had only intended to pull the man over to get a better look at him, but Zhu Hui's legs went weak, and he nearly collapsed to his knees. And so, the current Chief Sentinel was pulled onto the lap of the former Chief Guide in his wheelchair. To his surprise, even in his confused state, the man was careful not to put any weight on Xu Xunyue's legs. The distinct scent of a Sentinel wafted through the air. Watching Zhu Hui's deeply flushed face, Xu Xunyue's lips curled into an unreadable smile. Then, he pinched the other's chin, pulled him down, and gave the dizzy young Sentinel a slow, deep kiss.
Zhu Hui was the most outstanding student at the Sentinel Academy. He qualified to join the military at seventeen, became the Chief Sentinel at twenty, and was hailed as the "Dagger of the Empire"—a true rising star. News of the marriage contract spread like wildfire, and though rumors were rampant, he paid them no mind. But three months later, at the edge of a chaotic, undeveloped zone, an officer happened to overhear his conversation with someone on the comms. His voice was uncharacteristically light and gentle. "I've already handled things here. I'll be home tonight." "No, I'm not rushing. This is just my normal speed. I'll be home tonight." "You don't have to wait up for me... but it's okay if you do. Just make sure to dress warmly so you don't catch a cold." The officer: "?" Is this my colleague, the one who's basically a human weapon? Is this the so-called "plastic couple" everyone's talking about online?
(Translator's Notes: "Plastic Couple" : A modern Chinese slang term for a couple that appears to be together for show, with a relationship that is fake or superficial, like plastic.)
