Chapter 33 Part 1: That Night
Feng Yan then arranged to meet with the production team at a coffee shop near the hospital.
However, the production team’s attitude was vague, constantly brushing it off.
Feng Yan could see that the production team wanted to quell the matter and pretend that nothing had happened, waiting for the storm to pass.
Feng Yan shook his head and advised, “Xixi’s fans won’t give up. Instead of waiting for the matter to escalate, it’s better to take action and mend the situation sooner.”
“It won’t.” The producer said, “On the contrary, we think that instead of continuing to stir things up and let it snowball, it’s better to let things slowly calm down.”
After talking for a while with no results, Feng Yan still had his mother come to the rescue.
After buying another cup of coffee downstairs at the hospital, Feng Yan was about to go up and continue to accompany Yu Weixi.
However, before Feng Yan could step into the ward, he heard Chu Qing’s cry of surprise from inside.
“What are you doing!!”
“You… you go out first!”
Feng Yan couldn’t see what was going on inside and quickly pushed the door open.
He saw Chu Qing standing by Yu Weixi’s hospital bed, his hands slightly spread, defensively looking at the visitor—Luo Yucheng.
Luo Yucheng looked confused.
“Mr. Chu, what’s wrong…?”
Feng Yan bypassed Luo Yucheng and walked to Chu Qing’s side, asking in a low voice, “What’s wrong?”
Chu Qing looked up and said, “I, I just went to the bathroom. When I came back, I saw Mr. Luo here!”
Although Chu Qing didn’t know that Luo Yucheng was the one who had pushed him down, he knew that Luo Yucheng and Yu Weixi had never been on good terms, so he subconsciously blocked him.
“I just brought some fruits and flowers to visit…! The other students are also on their way. I arrived earlier than them, so…” Before Chu Qing could finish, the door of the ward was pushed open again.
It was a few students led by Chen Taochuan.
“Luo Yucheng…!” When Chen Taochuan saw Luo Yucheng, his face immediately became a little ferocious. “What are you doing here!”
Luo Yucheng was a little dissatisfied. “What’s wrong with you guys?! Even if Mr. Yu and I are not on good terms, I wouldn’t… ah!”
Chen Taochuan, however, pounced forward and was about to attack Luo Yucheng.
“Taochuan, what’s wrong with you?”
“Taochuan! Calm down! This is a hospital ward! Mr. Yu is still resting!”
The few of them got into a scuffle, making a lot of noise.
Feng Yan frowned slightly, glanced at Yu Weixi, who was frowning and sleeping more and more restlessly, and said sternly, “Chen Taochuan!”
Chen Taochuan was taken aback, his hand went limp, and at this moment, he was dragged out by the other students.
Luo Yucheng was also half-pushed and half-pulled out by the students, barely ending the chaos.
“Oof… what are you doing.” But Yu Weixi was still woken up. He rubbed his eyes and frowned. “So noisy…”
“It’s okay, it’s just Chen Taochuan and the other students who came to see you.” Feng Yan ruffled Yu Weixi’s hair. “They woke you up.”
“Chen Taochuan…?” Yu Weixi reached out and subconsciously grabbed Feng Yan, wanting to get up. Feng Yan immediately sat on the edge of the bed and held him up.
Luo Yucheng was hurriedly taken away by the other students on the grounds of not disturbing Mr. Yu’s rest, leaving only Chen Taochuan standing nervously by the door, peeking at Yu Weixi.
“What are you doing? Are you a thief?” Yu Weixi looked at the door, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. “Get in here!”
Chen Taochuan immediately rushed in in a flurry.
“Mr. Yu, I, I…”
Chen Taochuan stood by the bed, looking at Yu Weixi, whose neck and forehead were wrapped in bandages and who needed Feng Yan’s help to get up. His eyes were a little red, and his lips trembled as he held back his emotions.
“What are you standing so far away for? Come here, I’ll take a picture with you.” Yu Weixi held his phone and beckoned to Chen Taochuan.
“Wh, why?”
Feng Yan smiled and explained, “Mr. Yu has to say a few words for you, otherwise how will you get by on the show in the future.”
“…”
Chen Taochuan’s nose immediately turned red, and the tears he had been holding back gushed out like a flood.
“Mr. Yu!!”
Chen Taochuan cried out with a “wah.”
“Mr. Yu, I’m sorry!!! I’m a bastard!”
Yu Weixi: “…”
The ward was immediately filled with Chen Taochuan’s wails. Yu Weixi covered his ears and bared his teeth. “Shut up…! Sit over here!”
“I’m not worthy to sit… hic, sit next to Mr. Yu!!”
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry!” A 1.8-meter-tall man was crying like a child, out of breath.
Chen Taochuan had been holding it in for the past few days, but the moment he saw Yu Weixi, he couldn’t hold it in anymore. And after Yu Weixi not only didn’t blame him but also wanted to speak up for him, Chen Taochuan immediately lost control.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Yu. I didn’t…”
“I pardon you.” Yu Weixi waved his hand and said with a straight face, “I’ll spare your life.”
Chen Taochuan was both moved and wiped his tears and sniffled, trying to pull his emotions back.
Yu Weixi said coolly, “If you’re so guilty, then just remember it for now. I’ll beat you up properly when I’ve recovered.”
“Wuwuwu, okay!”
“Then why aren’t you sitting over here yet?!”
“Okay!!”
“…Wait a minute.” Yu Weixi pointed at Chen Taochuan’s face. “Wipe your snot and tears for me. Disgusting.”
Chen Taochuan hurriedly wiped them.
Then Yu Weixi and Chen Taochuan took a group photo.
@DylanLovesToDance_: I’m fine.
First was a simple Weibo post to let his fans know he was safe.
@DylanLovesToDance_: The stupid student came to see me today. Remember this. I’ll beat you up when I’m better. @ChenTaochuanLovesToDance_love

Then was the clarification for Chen Taochuan.
The comments were full of blessings. Some fans were about to cry when they saw it. Although the assistant and the production team had already reported that he was safe, it was not as effective as Yu Weixi himself.
And the scolding of Chen Taochuan also slowly died down, and they found their target—it wasn’t Chen Taochuan who should be torn apart, but the production team who had not done a good job with safety and preventive measures.
Not only that, but this photo of Yu Weixi not only cleared Chen Taochuan’s name, but also drowned the FengYu Super Topic in a West Lake.
XXX: Did you guys see it? Did you see it!! That hand on Xixi’s waist, that strong and powerful hand!! 55555 If you know, you know.
XXX: I really… after confirming that Xixi is okay, I really want to cry. When I saw this hand, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. The two of them have been protecting each other for four years!!
XXX: It’s so good QAQ that someone is there to accompany Xixi at a time like this.
XXX: Not only Yan-ge, but my impression of Chu Qing is also getting better and better now. Although he’s a resource-backed celebrity who is being kept, he’s really good to our Xixi.
For a moment, Yu Weixi’s fans and the ship’s fans were full of blessings.
In the ward, Chen Taochuan had also finally stopped crying and sat awkwardly next to Yu Weixi, watching him scroll through Weibo.
“Mr. Yu, are you hungry? I’ll peel an apple for you.”
“Oh.”
“Mr. Yu, do you want to drink some sweet soup!”
“Oh.”
“Mr. Yu, do you need to go to the bathroom? I’ll help you…”
Feng Yan interrupted, “Your Mr. Yu is tired. You can go back first. Let him sleep well.”
“I, I…”
“Go back! Go practice! I chose you as the center of the dance group. Don’t lose my face.” Yu Weixi waved his hand to dismiss him.
“I…” Chen Taochuan’s eyes turned red again.
Yu Weixi was scared of him and rolled his eyes. “You’re a 1.8-meter-tall rough man. Can you not act like Daiyu in front of me?! It’s an eyesore! So disgusting!”
“Wuwuwu, okay!!”
Chen Taochuan ran away crying.
Yu Weixi: “???”
Feng Yan couldn’t help but laugh and explained, “Actually, while you were unconscious, Chen Taochuan submitted a withdrawal application to the production team. But he’s now the center of the dance group, and he’s also quite popular among the students, plus his relationship with you is different, so the production team hasn’t approved it yet.”
Yu Weixi was taken aback.
“Is he crazy?! This was just an accident.” Yu Weixi bared his teeth. “If he dares to withdraw, I’ll beat him to death.”
“Don’t worry, with what you just said, he won’t withdraw.”
“He’d better not.”
Feng Yan handed the peeled apple to Yu Weixi and glanced at the main door. “I’m going to the bathroom.”
After Feng Yan walked into the men’s restroom, he saw Chen Taochuan as expected. As he had expected, Chen Taochuan’s eyes were red and swollen from crying, and his face was a mess. He would definitely go to the restroom to tidy up before leaving.
“Wh, what’s wrong?” Chen Taochuan was surprised to see Feng Yan. “Mr., Mr. Yu is alone in the ward…”
“It’s okay. I just came out to say a few words to you. I’ll be back soon.”
“Mmm…?”
Feng Yan and Chen Taochuan went to a deserted corner. Feng Yan asked, “Why were you so agitated when you saw Luo Yucheng just now? Why did you want to hit him?”
Chen Taochuan’s eyes widened, and his eyes were immediately filled with anger.
“No, nothing!”
“Tell the truth.” Feng Yan crossed his arms. “I won’t say it out.”
“Even, even if I say it, no one will believe it!”
Feng Yan curled his lips. “Are you saying that no one will believe that Xixi was framed and fell by Luo Yucheng?”
Chen Taochuan’s eyes widened.
“You… how do you…”
Feng Yan raised an eyebrow. “Don’t worry about how I know. I’ll just ask you one question. If things blow up, are you willing to stand up and speak for Xixi, to be that witness?”
Chen Taochuan shouted loudly, “Of course!!”
“Good.”
Feng Yan patted Chen Taochuan’s shoulder. “For now, let’s not talk about this topic.”
“Okay…!”
Feng Yan went to the restroom to wash his hands and tidy up before returning to the ward.
“Are you hungry, Xixi?” Feng Yan pulled a chair and sat down by the bed.
Yu Weixi said coolly, “I’m not hungry. I’m about to die of pain.”
Yu Weixi paused. Seeing that there were no outsiders, he quickly reached out and pressed his waist, saying with a pained expression, “It hurts so much.”
“Ah…?! Where, where does it hurt?” Feng Yan immediately became nervous.
“Here.”
“Where?”
“Here!”
“I’ll rub it for you.”
“Oof…! What are you doing!”
“Endure it, endure it.”
Feng Yan rubbed Yu Weixi’s waist while helping him lie down.
“It’s killing me! Fuck!” Yu Weixi’s brow was tightly furrowed, and cold sweat dripped from his forehead. He looked a little fragile. His mouth… was spitting out profanities, strong enough to move mountains and rivers.
Feng Yan held Yu Weixi’s hand. “Endure it for a bit.”
“Aren’t there any painkillers? I feel like my waist is about to break.”
“The doctor advised against using them.” Feng Yan let Yu Weixi hold his hand. Yu Weixi himself didn’t even notice that he had already left deep red marks and fingerprints on Feng Yan’s hand.
“But I’m about to die.” Yu Weixi lay paralyzed on the bed, on the verge of tears. “I’m really uncomfortable.”
“Mmm, I know.” Feng Yan held Yu Weixi’s hand with one hand and gently ruffled his hair with the other.
“Feng Yan.” After enduring for a moment, Yu Weixi gently shook Feng Yan’s hand and turned his head. “Aren’t there any painkillers?”
“Can Xixi endure it for a bit?”
The attending doctor had instructed not to use painkillers unless absolutely necessary.
“Get lost.” Yu Weixi turned his head away.
Feng Yan noticed that the corners of Yu Weixi’s eyes were a little wet. It wasn’t because Yu Weixi was crying, but because the pain had brought out physiological tears.
Feng Yan paused, bent down, and took off his shoes.
Then, Feng Yan got into the bed and lay down next to Yu Weixi.
“Can I stay with you?”
Yu Weixi’s eyes widened.
What, what is he trying to do!
Yu Weixi supported his waist, which was about to break, and his still aching head and neck, and tried to struggle, but found that he couldn’t move.
“Feng Yan, you’re taking advantage of me! I’m calling the police!”
“Feng Yan, get lost!! What are you doing up here!”
“You…!”
