Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 7: WeChat Part 1

To Fu Si Heng, Tao Zhi’s tactics were truly clumsy.

At his age and with his status, what kind of men and women hadn’t he seen?

Those who catered to his tastes and seduced him with their bodies were a dime a dozen, and some even went as far as crawling into his bed. There were all sorts of tricks, including those with alluring figures and stunning looks who could convey a thousand charms with a single glance.

Tao Zhi’s little maneuvers?

Clumsy and childish.

He really couldn’t bring himself to take notice.

……

But this face and those little expressions were genuinely pure.

A palm-sized little face, fair and beautiful, with soft eyes and a small black mole at the corner, giving off an air of innocence that somehow felt seductive.

As their gazes met, Fu Si Heng thought Tao Zhi’s eyes resembled the night sky.

Tranquil and serene, with specks of starlight twinkling faintly in their depths.

Yet he remained unmoved.

His expression showed no change; his gaze merely darkened slightly before he ignored Tao Zhi and continued talking to Wei Yu.

“……?”

Huh……?

Fu Si Heng actually ignored him?

He had only glanced at him once, with no intention of asking what he wanted or even speaking to him.

How could this be?

After racking his brains for a long time and mustering the courage to carry out his seduction, Tao Zhi was left dumbfounded, feeling a bit defeated and failed.

He thought Fu Si Heng was very aloof—

Though he only seemed very aloof.

Although he didn’t acknowledge Tao Zhi, Fu Si Heng also didn’t reject Tao Zhi’s continued touching.

When Tao Zhi felt defeated, his fingers were still clinging to Fu Si Heng’s arm, and Fu Si Heng didn’t push him away. Instead, he remained perfectly still, as if tacitly allowing it.

Tao Zhi’s little brain quickly picked up on this.

He looked down for a good while before tentatively making a bolder, more obvious move.

Hooking the arm didn’t work, so he went for the back of the hand and fingers.

His fair fingers hooked onto the man’s wheat-colored pinky, and Tao Zhi even tugged it slightly toward himself.

Fu Si Heng’s palm was large.

Both big and broad. With their hands overlapping, the difference in skin tone and size was especially striking.

The hand of a nearly thirty-year-old mature man had faintly bulging veins on the back, long and powerful fingers, and a layer of rough calluses on the pads. When Tao Zhi touched it, he felt it was both scorching hot and abrasively rough.

Like coarse sandpaper.

He almost let go as soon as he touched it, pursing his lips, but remembering the task Fu Zheng had assigned him, he didn’t dare move.

He was really trying his best, worthy of the price Fu Zheng paid him.

But Fu Si Heng acted as if nothing was happening.

This was too strange.

Some stranger was groping him, yet he could completely ignore it the whole time… chatting so animatedly? Was business that pressing?

As expected of a big president.

Sigh.

Tao Zhi sighed inwardly.

He had already tried his best.

Fu Si Heng wouldn’t chat with him, ignored his little moves completely, gave him zero reaction—he had no other options.

He had done everything he was supposed to.

With that thought, Tao Zhi suddenly felt relieved.

He had obediently followed orders and done as Fu Zheng asked. It was Fu Si Heng who didn’t take the bait… At least he had something to report back to Fu Zheng!

He could explain the situation properly, and maybe Fu Zheng would let him off. Then they could find other ways to get revenge.

Fu Zheng wasn’t that unreasonable.

Tao Zhi’s thinking was very simple, and suddenly the path ahead seemed bright and clear.

So he stopped seducing.

He raised his head, searching for Fu Zheng’s position, planning to go find him and head back to school together.

The private room was huge, almost impossible to see across at a glance, but the pool area was easy to spot.

From his angle, he could see it just by looking up. Fu Zheng wasn’t standing in his previous spot anymore; instead, he sat on a bench by the pool with his back to him.

Tao Zhi was just about to stand—

He didn’t succeed.

Because as he made a move, someone suddenly appeared out of nowhere and sat down on the sofa right next to him.

Tao Zhi froze for a moment, not yet reacting, when his fingers were suddenly gripped in return. Then Fu Si Heng pulled him closer by the hand, drawing him toward his side.

??!

Tao Zhi was shocked!

Shocked, then dumbfounded. H-how did it suddenly…

Tao Zhi and Fu Si Heng had a clear difference in build.

At 174 cm tall, when Fu Si Heng gripped his wrist and pulled him over, his shoulder bumped into Fu Si Heng’s chest, making it feel like he had landed in his lap.

In an instant, their posture became incredibly intimate.

This made Tao Zhi feel awkward and very unaccustomed.

Even though he had boldly hooked arms and fingers just moments ago, b-but now this…

Tao Zhi was a bit at a loss.

Fortunately, Fu Si Heng quickly let him go.

He had pulled him over, then released him just as quickly, seemingly just to keep him from bumping into the person beside them.

Oh right, there was that stranger.

Tao Zhi glanced to the side. The other was a man in a suit, someone he didn’t recognize, so instinctively, he scooted closer to Fu Si Heng.

Now they were even nearer.

A faint, elegant jasmine scent aggressively invaded Fu Si Heng’s nostrils.

He had smelled it earlier.

When Tao Zhi’s shoulder touched his chest.

It was hard to imagine that such a clear and lovely floral fragrance could feel so domineering.

It didn’t match a timid, pure, and beautiful girl at all.

So after being harassed by Tao Zhi for over ten minutes, Fu Si Heng finally turned his head again.

Their gazes met.

Tao Zhi blinked blankly.

“……”

Fu Si Heng suddenly stood up.

What……?

Tao Zhi stared at him dazedly.

“We’ll talk about this later. I’m heading out first.”

He said this to Wei Yu.

Wei Yu reacted with: “?”

So sudden.

The man who had just sat down also raised an eyebrow: “I just got here and you’re leaving?”

Fu Si Heng hummed in acknowledgment: “Something came up.”

Ah? Me?

Ah? Me?

Tao Zhi had struggled immensely to make it from the countryside to the big city through sheer hard work on the exams. His family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to send him to university, so he shouldered student loans and scraped by with part-time jobs. He juggled classes and work, heading out early and dragging himself home late, pinching every single yuan until it screamed. Life was brutally tough. Until a rich second-generation heir moved into his dorm as a roommate. The roommate was fierce. Bad-tempered, petty, and loaded with young master syndrome. On his very first day, he bossed Tao Zhi around, making him wash his clothes, polish his shoes, attend classes in his place, and fetch his packages. ...And then handed him a thousand yuan as a hardship fee. Tao Zhi, who had just been inwardly griping about how over-the-top this new roommate was: Huh??? The little money-grubber's eyes lit up. - From that day on, Tao Zhi dutifully stepped up as the rich heir's little lackey. When the roommate ate, he passed the chopsticks. When he drank water, he twisted off the cap. When the roommate bullied someone... he hung back, using his own scrawny frame to prop up the scene. But he didn't quite nail the act and got chewed out for it. That night, he rushed to the library and crammed through over a dozen novels, studying up on how to play the haughty, overbearing lackey. One weekend. Tao Zhi had just returned from the library when he spotted an uninvited guest in the dorm. Dressed in a sharp suit, exuding a cold, imposing aura. The man stood before the roommate, wiping blood from his knuckles. His gleaming leather shoe ground Tao Zhi's god of wealth—his roommate—into the floor. "If I catch you stirring up trouble at school again, you're out." Tao Zhi was petrified. He stood there frozen, not daring to twitch. Only after the man left did he scramble over to help his roommate up. The roommate gritted his teeth, wiped the blood from his nose, and spat at Tao Zhi, word by word: "I order you to seduce my brother, toy with him, then dump him hard. Steal his company's trade secrets while you're at it. I'm seizing power—I want *him* gone!" Tao Zhi: "?" Huh? Tao Zhi's vision went black. Thinking back to the man's icy demeanor, he collapsed straight to the floor and jabbed a finger at himself. "M-Me?" ** Reading Guide: 1. Both pure, mutual first loves.
