Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 4: Drool Part 2

Having just binged over thirty novels, his mind was full of wild associations right now.

“Then…… are you the illegitimate son?” By the last three words, his voice dropped even lower, and he carefully glanced around, very mindful of protecting Fu Zheng’s privacy.

“……”

“Don’t guess randomly,” Fu Zheng said speechlessly: “We’re full brothers, from the same womb.”

“Oh.” Now it was Tao Zhi’s turn to be stunned: “Full, full brothers?”

……Full brothers, and he could think up such a vicious trick.

Tao Zhi scratched his forehead.

Fu Zheng ignored him but did let go of his hand.

Tao Zhi didn’t run; he obediently kept following.

After a while, he seemed to remember the most important question: “Where are we going now?”

Fu Zheng: “To give you some training lessons.”

Um……?

The so-called training lessons were having someone teach Tao Zhi falsetto.

It was a bit difficult for Tao Zhi. After two days, there was still no effect, but fortunately, his natural voice was androgynous, like it hadn’t gone through a boy’s voice change. Clear and gentle—if he spoke less and pitched it a bit without showing his face, it shouldn’t give him away.

After all, Fu Si Heng, that old virgin, had never dated a girl; he wouldn’t be that sharp.

That’s what Fu Zheng believed deep down.

With the voice issue resolved, next came the image makeover.

On Saturday afternoon, Tao Zhi followed Fu Zheng out of school to a styling salon in a mall.

“Where’s Rong Huai?” Fu Zheng entered like he owned the place. The staff recognized him and called out “Second Young Master” before quickly fetching the boss.

The boss was a long-haired guy. When he came out and saw Fu Zheng and Tao Zhi beside him, he raised an eyebrow.

“The one I told you about, it’s him,” Fu Zheng said, pushing Tao Zhi in front of the boss.

Tao Zhi was super nervous and held his breath upon seeing the stranger.

Rong Huai noticed and smiled: “You can breathe.”

Tao Zhi: “……”

Fu Zheng: “……”

Idiot.

Was he really going to have this idiot carry out his revenge plan?

……

Whatever.

There was no one else to use.

Fu Zheng tsked.

He had given Rong Huai a heads-up beforehand, but for the sake of confidentiality in the revenge plan, he hadn’t explained too much.

But Boss Rong had seen it all and assumed it was some special couple’s play, so he naturally asked: “What makeup style do you like?”

Tao Zhi didn’t know.

How would he know about this stuff…… He’d only learned about facial cleanser for washing his face after starting college.

Makeup was completely outside his knowledge zone.

Tao Zhi shot a pleading look at Fu Zheng.

Fu Zheng thought for a moment: “Something pure and innocent.”

He didn’t know Fu Si Heng’s tastes anyway, so…… just try something random.

“OK.” Rong Huai agreed.

Tao Zhi had no objections. From start to finish, he was obedient, doing whatever Fu Zheng said.

It was oddly endearing.

After saying “Don’t be nervous, I don’t bite,” Rong Huai took him away.

An hour later, Tao Zhi reappeared before Fu Zheng.

Fu Zheng had been sitting on the waiting room sofa, playing a game.

It was a losing game, and he was playing poorly, frowning with an unpleasant expression.

Suddenly, someone called “Second Young Master.” He irritably looked up, and what entered his view was Tao Zhi in full female attire.

Fu Zheng froze on the spot.

He was dumbfounded.

Because standing before him was an incredibly pure and beautiful girl.

An irregular white blouse with a tie-waist design— a touch of subtle scheming, yet not detracting from the innocent vibe— paired with a short skirt that just reached mid-thigh. It made Fu Zheng’s heart pound wildly, leaving him standing there like a fool, unable to react.

Tao Zhi felt creeped out by his stare.

He wasn’t used to this outfit at all. The skirt was so short, exposing from thighs to ankles. His slender legs gleamed under the store’s white lights.

“Isn’t it super weird……” Tao Zhi saw Fu Zheng not speaking and grew deeply uneasy inside.

See, guys in girls’ clothes were really weird, and the skirt was so short. Tao Zhi pursed his lips, his face heating up as he tugged downward, trying to cover something.

But nothing was covered.

Instead, it added a touch of awkward, youthful innocence.

Fu Zheng felt like the nose he’d gotten beaten by Fu Si Heng recently was acting up again.

What was the school doctor doing?

“……Not weird.” Fu Zheng coughed lightly, denying it unnaturally and averting his gaze.

But soon, he turned back.

Stealing glances at Tao Zhi’s face.

Long, straight black hair— very pure. Almost no trace of makeup on his face, just incredibly translucent skin, with faint pink on his cheeks and nose tip.

Probably from shyness?

Fu Zheng didn’t understand makeup and didn’t know what blush was.

As Tao Zhi spoke, his lips parted, the lip gloss shining like honey, and when upper and lower met, it seemed to make a nonexistent “pop.”

……Fuck.

This was straight-up.

Goddess level.

Fu Zheng’s mind went fuzzy; he nearly forgot why he was there.

The two stood there dumbly.

Rong Huai: “……”

In the end, he broke the silence.

“How is it? Like it?” Rong Huai asked.

“Like—……” He almost said it outright; Fu Zheng quickly changed his words.

Pretending to be cool, he furrowed his brows and said indifferently: “What does it matter if I like it? This is Fu Si Heng’s future girlfriend.”

“Huh?” Rong Huai was stunned too: “Fu Si Heng? Your brother?”

“Your brother’s future girlfriend?!”

Fu Zheng grunted in affirmation.

Rong Huai: “……”

Crazy.

You know your drool is about to drip, right?

Rong Huai now looked at Fu Zheng like he was a total idiot.

Tao Zhi had struggled immensely to make it from the countryside to the big city through sheer hard work on the exams. His family was dirt poor and couldn't afford to send him to university, so he shouldered student loans and scraped by with part-time jobs. He juggled classes and work, heading out early and dragging himself home late, pinching every single yuan until it screamed. Life was brutally tough. Until a rich second-generation heir moved into his dorm as a roommate. The roommate was fierce. Bad-tempered, petty, and loaded with young master syndrome. On his very first day, he bossed Tao Zhi around, making him wash his clothes, polish his shoes, attend classes in his place, and fetch his packages. ...And then handed him a thousand yuan as a hardship fee. Tao Zhi, who had just been inwardly griping about how over-the-top this new roommate was: Huh??? The little money-grubber's eyes lit up. - From that day on, Tao Zhi dutifully stepped up as the rich heir's little lackey. When the roommate ate, he passed the chopsticks. When he drank water, he twisted off the cap. When the roommate bullied someone... he hung back, using his own scrawny frame to prop up the scene. But he didn't quite nail the act and got chewed out for it. That night, he rushed to the library and crammed through over a dozen novels, studying up on how to play the haughty, overbearing lackey. One weekend. Tao Zhi had just returned from the library when he spotted an uninvited guest in the dorm. Dressed in a sharp suit, exuding a cold, imposing aura. The man stood before the roommate, wiping blood from his knuckles. His gleaming leather shoe ground Tao Zhi's god of wealth—his roommate—into the floor. "If I catch you stirring up trouble at school again, you're out." Tao Zhi was petrified. He stood there frozen, not daring to twitch. Only after the man left did he scramble over to help his roommate up. The roommate gritted his teeth, wiped the blood from his nose, and spat at Tao Zhi, word by word: "I order you to seduce my brother, toy with him, then dump him hard. Steal his company's trade secrets while you're at it. I'm seizing power—I want *him* gone!" Tao Zhi: "?" Huh? Tao Zhi's vision went black. Thinking back to the man's icy demeanor, he collapsed straight to the floor and jabbed a finger at himself. "M-Me?" ** Reading Guide: 1. Both pure, mutual first loves.
