Chapter 30 Part 2:
Satisfied with the Cursing, Despicable (Part 2/2)
Wen Ling tried to get closer to her stepson and invited Li Ge to watch TV with her downstairs, but unfortunately, only her little girl followed her downstairs. She also just found out that Li Ge was familiar with her stepson and had business dealings with him.
After the mother and daughter left, Li Ge urged Chen Shuo to play again, calling him a coward if he didn’t.
“What, are you really a coward?”
“…” Chen Shuo ignored Li Ge’s provocation, went to the door and opened it for some air, feeling a bit better, then ordered him to leave, “Get out.”
Li Ge leaned back on the sofa like a king and insisted on another game. Chen Shuo, seeing his shameless and despicable behavior, felt a surge of negative emotions again, hovering on the brink of impulsiveness, but ultimately dismissed the idea of beating him up.
Because it was futile.
Li Ge wasn’t an ordinary pervert, he was despicable. Hitting and scolding him didn’t work, and even words were so pale and powerless in front of him.
So Chen Shuo went out himself.
“Hey, don’t be a coward!” When Li Ge chased after him, Chen Shuo had already locked himself in the bathroom. He knocked on the door, “Are you obsessed with the bathroom? I just want to play another game with you, nothing else.”
Through the door, Chen Shuo cursed in a low voice, “Get lost.”
“…” Li Ge was now convinced, “Alright, alright, I’ll get lost. So quiet and unassuming, yet with such a temper, don’t keep it all bottled up.”
The hallway outside was quiet. Chen Shuo waited for several minutes before going out. He hadn’t been in his room for long when the little girl ran up the stairs and called him down for dinner.
“Brother, Dad made your favorite big chicken legs!”
“…” Chen Shuo was slightly taken aback, wanting to retort that he hadn’t liked chicken legs for a long time, but the little girl had already happily bounced away.
He looked over and saw that the little girl was running and jumping normally, her knees should be fine. When he went downstairs and saw Li Ge at the dining table, he felt unwell.
Li Ge once again explained on his behalf, “I was just about to leave, but Uncle Jing insisted I stay for dinner. I’m really sorry for troubling your family today.”
“Nonsense, what are you talking about?” Jing Hai stood up and warmly greeted his son, “Xiao Shuo, come and eat, it’s a simple lunch, I’ll make a big meal tonight.”
A sumptuous meal of four dishes and a soup wasn’t simple for Chen Shuo. He sat down silently, picked up his bowl and chopsticks, and ate in silence.
Watching Chen Shuo eat for the second time, Li Ge felt an itch again. He had never pursued this type before, and the repeated rejections had aroused his desire to conquer, a desire that was hard to suppress in his blood. He really wanted to take Chen Shuo home and fuck him hard, much more satisfying than eating.
As soon as he finished eating, Li Ge immediately left, mainly because too much presence would be counterproductive.
But in the evening, he felt extremely empty and regretted not staying longer at the Jing family. He could only think of Chen Shuo and take care of himself. Unexpectedly, he felt even more empty afterwards, a level he had never experienced before, torturing him so much that he couldn’t sleep well all night.
Remembering the big red envelope he owed the little girl, Li Ge went to the Jing family the next morning, only to find that Chen Shuo had left. He hurriedly asked what was going on.
Wen Ling: “Xiao Shuo actually came back to see his father. His father had some health problems last month, but fortunately, the test results were benign, no surgery needed, just regular checkups.”
Li Ge: “…”
Thinking of the red envelope her stepson had left on the bedside table, Wen Ling couldn’t help but confide, “Mengmeng is reluctant to see her brother go, and I’m also quite reluctant. He doesn’t want his father’s money, he’s working hard on his own in Beicheng, with no one to care for him. I’m afraid he’ll become more and more lonely, it’s really heartbreaking.”
“It’s okay, Aunt Wen, don’t worry,” Li Ge immediately took on this responsibility, “I’ll go back to Beicheng after the New Year, I’ll definitely keep in touch with him.”
“I’m troubling you.” Wen Ling was extremely grateful.
Li Ge: “How could it be trouble? Hearing you say that, I also feel very sorry for him.”
Being cooped up in Jiangcheng was driving Li Ge crazy. On New Year’s Eve, he sent a New Year’s greeting to Chen Shuo, just a simple “Happy New Year,” and as expected, there was no reply.
After the Spring Festival, Li Ge was ready to leave, but Ms. Min insisted on going with him to the He family to pay New Year’s visits. He couldn’t refuse to accompany her. After a long wait, finally, after the Lantern Festival, in his brother-in-law’s study, he saw the little Comrade Chen he had been thinking about day and night.
“You two came at just the right time!” Yuan Feng took out a dictionary from the bookshelf, “I want to give Yuanbao a proper name, I don’t know what to choose, can you two teachers give me some advice?”
“Do you have to choose it yourself?” Li Ge was surprised, “Don’t be in a hurry now, wait until after the baby is born and have someone do a reading.”
Yuan Feng: “Of course I’ll choose it, he’s taking my surname.”
“He’s taking your surname?” Li Ge was shocked.
“Yeah, your cousin said I can do as I please.” Yuan Feng explained cheerfully, “He’s so busy every day, I don’t want to bother him, so I’ll think of a few suitable ones myself and then discuss it with him.”
Li Ge: “As expected of my big brother, quite something.”
Teaching Yuan Feng was his duty. Chen Shuo couldn’t avoid Li Ge and could only ignore him as much as possible. He turned his gaze to Yuan Feng and said, “I have no experience in naming.”
Yuan Feng: “It’s okay, just give me some random suggestions.”
Li Ge: “Brother-in-law, it’s so simple with your surname, just choose from Yuandan or Yuanxiao, the meaning is profound.”
Yuan Feng: “…”
Unable to stand Li Ge, Chen Shuo thought seriously and asked, “We don’t know Yuanbao’s gender yet, do we have to choose a name now?”
Yuan Feng: “Yes, two for each.”
Li Ge: “How about Yuan Ai He? That’s a good name, the fruit of your love.”
Yuan Feng: “Don’t you choose, please let Yuanbao go.”
Li Ge: “…”
His gaze inevitably fell on Li Ge, and Chen Shuo clearly felt his emotions fluctuate. He took the dictionary from Yuan Feng and flipped through it, trying to concentrate. Soon, a suitable word appeared in his mind.
“Yuan Feng, what do you think of Yuan Man? It’s unisex, and the meaning is roughly a complete life.”
“Yuan Man, Yuan Man…” Yuan Feng repeated it twice, suddenly realizing that his current life was complete, wasn’t it? He had a lover, a child, and a home, and he was very happy every day.
Being met with Chen Shuo’s cold face as soon as he arrived, Li Ge took the opportunity to say, “The meaning of ‘complete’ is quite good, I think Assistant Chen can change his career to naming people.”
Chen Shuo didn’t give Li Ge a glance.
“I like this name!” Yuan Feng said excitedly, “Thank you, Chen Shuo, I’ll go tell He Yan now. You two don’t leave, I invited you both over today to watch a movie together, and then stay for lunch.”
The movie was something Li Ge had desperately asked for, just to create a topic and get closer.
As soon as Yuan Feng left, he shamelessly scrutinized the man who was still not looking at him, wondering when he would be able to have a taste of this meat. Unexpectedly, Chen Shuo suddenly turned around, grabbed his collar, and asked with a cold face, “What are you looking at?”
“…” Li Ge was briefly surprised, why was little Comrade Chen’s temper even worse after the New Year? So fucking interesting.
He remembered a popular saying from his childhood, raised an eyebrow, and smiled.
“If you’re not looking at me, how do you know I’m looking at you?”
