Married to a Fierce Wolf 68

Chapter 68

Fenglin Planet.

A mechanical arm lifted heavy cultivation containers, placing them one by one into the cargo hold of a transport ship.

Workers bustled in the forest, picking mushrooms and berries, quickly packing the fresh produce into containers for storage.

Shi Nuo randomly checked a handful of berries, their size and color perfect, then inspected a few different types of mushrooms.

The light green mushrooms were their best seller, their unique aroma a culinary sensation among the First Star System’s nobility.

“Fenglin Planet Specialties” was Shi Nuo’s company, selling not only mushrooms and berries but also unique fruits, medicinal herbs, and spices, all licenses and permits in order.

The planet now had an official name, a combination of Wu Wu’s name and the planet’s characteristic winds.

The light green mushrooms were unique to their planet, at least so far, no other planet having been found with the same species, so Hugh and Shi Nuo had applied for and received patents and other legal protections for Fenglin’s unique flora and fauna.

They marketed the light green mushrooms as a luxury item, exclusively to the First Star System’s nobility, their seasonal availability, limited to summer and autumn, further increasing their value.

As for the Shi family, their attempts to exploit their connection had become excessive, and Shi Nuo, not stupid, had distanced himself from them. He wasn’t sure what Hugh had done, but they had stopped bothering him.

As the workday ended, the hired workers emerged from the forest, delivered their last batch of harvested produce, and headed towards the dining hall in small groups.

Shi Nuo had hired these workers. The planet’s development was proceeding smoothly, but he and Hugh had agreed to maintain its pristine environment, their current operations limited to seasonal harvesting and sales of local specialties.

So, apart from the necessary housing, roads, and recreational facilities for the workers, they hadn’t expanded much.

The sounds of the workers talking and laughing drifted from the dining hall. Shi Nuo and his two assistants, having already eaten, were taking inventory of today’s harvest.

The automated system quickly calculated the totals, and Shi Nuo watched as his assistants sent the data to the First Star System. The transport ship would arrive soon, and someone there would handle the distribution.

Once the oceanographic survey was complete, their next project would be developing a fishing and seafood export business.

As Shi Nuo walked towards his office, he considered the potential markets for their seafood.

A shooting star streaked across the sky, and his wristband communicator chimed, a notification from Long Xu, signaling its imminent arrival.

He looked up, and the “shooting star” grew larger, the fiery trail disappearing as the massive mecha landed nearby.

His assistants, busy with their own tasks, didn’t notice, and Shi Nuo walked alone towards Long Xu’s landing site.

Hugh Elvis sat on Long Xu’s shoulder, Wu Wu, the two-and-a-half-year-old toddler with white hair, perched on his lap, a neat little topknot on his head. The white-haired Alpha also had a small ponytail, tied with a ribbon, its crooked placement a clear indication it wasn’t his own handiwork.

Hugh’s expression was grim, his displeasure at the hairstyle evident, but he hadn’t been able to refuse his son’s insistent demands.

Shi Nuo, seeing them, chuckled.

“Papa!” Wu Wu cried excitedly, urging his father to walk faster, too lazy to walk himself.

Shi Nuo took the chubby toddler from Hugh and kissed his cheeks several times.

Hugh Elvis bent down and kissed Shi Nuo’s face, his usually cold expression surprisingly…petulant. “He’s been misbehaving the entire trip. Wouldn’t listen to a word I said.”

Shi Nuo smiled and touched the small ponytail on Hugh’s head, the light blue ribbon a similar shade to the Alpha’s eyes.

Wu Wu’s eyes widened, indignant that his father had told on him.

But he couldn’t deny his recent mischievous behavior and quickly covered Shi Nuo’s ears with his hands. “Papa no listen.”

Shi Nuo’s smile widened, the warm touch of his son’s small hands against his ears a comforting sensation.

Hugh, seeing this, snorted and flicked Wu Wu’s forehead lightly.

“Ouch!” Wu Wu cried, clutching his forehead dramatically.

After a few more playful interactions, they entered Long Xu and flew back to the house.

The buildings near the forest, built for the workers, were located on a flat area at the base of the mountain. Before Hugh and Wu Wu arrived, Shi Nuo had been staying in their original house.

The mushroom season had started two weeks ago, a crucial period for their business, and he had come here with his two assistants to oversee the harvest and ensure quality control.

Hugh, having finished his work on Imperial Star, had taken a break and brought Wu Wu to visit.

The toddler, full of energy and familiar with his surroundings, immediately started playing, rolling around on the rug and singing nursery rhymes.

As Shi Nuo went to the kitchen to prepare lunch, Hugh followed him, glanced at the doorway, saw no sign of Wu Wu, and quickly embraced Shi Nuo from behind.

Shi Nuo’s scent gland was bitten, his breath hitching.

The cold lotus fragrance enveloped him, and after the marking was complete, Hugh lingered, his lips and tongue trailing across the sensitive skin of Shi Nuo’s neck.

The sound of Wu Wu singing nursery rhymes drifted from the living room, and Shi Nuo whispered, his voice trembling, “Not now…later…”

After a lingering kiss on his scent gland, he was finally released.

“My father said he’s coming to pick up Wu Wu in ten days. After he leaves…” Hugh Elvis’s voice was low and husky, the unspoken implication clear.

Shi Nuo, washing vegetables, paused, his hand stilling, but he didn’t reply.

Hugh, after a moment, seemed to regain his composure and began helping him prepare the ingredients.

Wu Wu, having not seen his papa for two weeks, refused to sleep in his own room, squeezing between Shi Nuo and Hugh in their bed. He was happy and excited, and Shi Nuo, also having missed his son, held him close, lulling him to sleep.

The white-haired man lying on the outside of the bed felt a flicker of annoyance, then relaxed, listening to their soft laughter and quiet conversation.

The vast plain stretched before them, the wind blowing gently, the clouds obscuring the sun, the air cool and refreshing.

A white blur appeared in the distance, followed by another, quickly overtaking the smaller white wolf.

Wu Wu ran with all his might, but the large white wolf was faster. Undeterred, it continued its pursuit, its movements surprisingly agile for a cub, its chubby body and flapping ears endearing, its future strength and grace not yet evident.

Shi Nuo, clinging to the large white wolf’s back, enjoyed the exhilarating speed, the wind whipping through his hair.

When the wolf finally stopped, he sat up, a wide smile on his face.

The small white wolf, panting, caught up, its stamina impressive for a cub.

The white wolf enjoyed these unrestrained runs, a freedom it hadn’t experienced since returning to Imperial Star, and it wanted to continue, but Wu Wu, exhausted, collapsed onto the grass, refusing to move.

Hugh sighed and, shifting Wu Wu back into his human form, carried him on his back.

“Awoo!”

As the large white wolf resumed its run, Wu Wu, held securely in Shi Nuo’s arms, yelped excitedly.

The vast plain, the distant mountains, the endless sky, a world of boundless freedom.

Arnold Elvis arrived on Fenglin Planet with his fleet. He didn’t immediately take Wu Wu back but spent three days with Hugh and Shi Nuo, touring their operations, treating it as a short vacation.

He offered Shi Nuo advice on developing the seafood export business, his suggestions helpful and insightful.

Hugh held a high-ranking position within the Elvis Corporation but hadn’t actively pursued the patriarch’s position, his only objection the increased workload and responsibilities.

He had investigated and confirmed that Arnold had no other children, his own position as heir secure, so he had relaxed, content to wait.

Arnold was still capable and would likely lead the family for many more years. Hugh had plenty of time to spend with Shi Nuo and Wu Wu.

Arnold had always been fond of Wu Wu, so even though the cub was attached to his papa and father, he willingly went with his grandfather, though his eyes were filled with tears as they prepared to leave.

“Count to fifteen, and papa will be back,” Shi Nuo kissed his son repeatedly.

Tears streamed down Wu Wu’s chubby cheeks.

“We’ll go to the playground when you get back,” Shi Nuo promised.

“Okay,” Wu Wu sniffled.

“Be careful when you play with the other children. Don’t do anything dangerous,” Shi Nuo added.

“Wu Wu knows everything, right?” Hugh took the cub from Shi Nuo, smiling, and kissed his head.

“Yes,” Wu Wu nodded seriously.

Hugh handed his son to Arnold.

Held securely in his grandfather’s arms, Wu Wu waved goodbye from the spacecraft’s window as the hatch closed.

As the fleet departed, Shi Nuo felt a pang of sadness, quickly dispelled by the wind as the giant wolf, carrying him on its back, ran across the plain, its powerful muscles rippling beneath him, a sensation Shi Nuo felt acutely.

His heart pounded, a sense of anticipation building.

As soon as they were back inside the house, Hugh Elvis shifted back into his human form, and as the doors and windows locked automatically, Shi Nuo’s clothes were quickly discarded.

On the thick, soft rug, the beautiful Omega’s breath hitched as his scent gland was bitten, the Alpha’s pheromones surging through him, making him tremble.

As the temporary marking was completed, the strong Alpha entered him.

A searing heat, an almost overwhelming pleasure.

Shi Nuo’s eyes lost their focus momentarily, and he gasped for breath, his body instinctively seeking air, his senses overwhelmed.

The young, strong Alpha’s eyes were dark and intense, his breathing heavy, his powerful body radiating a mature sensuality.

The Omega in his arms, beautiful and innocent, yet no longer as naive, his responses more mature, more…knowing.

White tea olive blossoms bloomed, their delicate petals entwined with the cold, crystalline leaves of ice lotuses.

Their mingled essence, their combined sweetness, filled the air.

Shi Nuo, driven to the edge of ecstasy, cried out, his voice hoarse, tears escaping his eyes.

Time lost all meaning.

His lower abdomen, distended and sensitive, throbbed with each thrust, the sharp, sweet pleasure overwhelming him, his mind blank.

The white wolf was gone, and Hugh Elvis, his sharp features softened by desire, his eyes filled with a satisfied warmth, kissed Shi Nuo gently, then held him close and drifted off to sleep.

Shi Nuo, his mind slowly clearing, felt the rhythmic patting of a large hand on his back and quickly fell asleep.

After a week of passionate abandon, their world a whirlwind of intimacy, Shi Nuo finally regained his freedom. He loved Hugh, but the Alpha’s…enthusiasm was sometimes a bit much.

Hugh Elvis, having sated his desires, finally seemed to regain his composure, his usual aloofness returning.

His handsome features, always cold and distant, especially when dressed in formal attire, his demeanor almost austere, made it hard to imagine his unrestrained passion in private.

After three days of rest, Shi Nuo was finally able to leave the house.

The giant wolf carried him on leisurely walks, the river flowing swiftly, birds flying overhead.

The sky was vast and endless, the wind a gentle caress against his skin.

They stopped at a scenic spot by the riverbank and kissed.

Shi Nuo, his face cupped in Hugh’s hands, lost himself in the gentle kiss, his arms instinctively wrapping around the Alpha’s neck, standing on tiptoe to deepen the kiss.

Their lips and tongues intertwined, their pheromones mingled, their bond unbreakable.

Their life together had just begun.

Status: Completed

Shi Nuo was sent to a private planet, the territory of an Alpha, who was to be his arranged marriage partner.

When the tranquilizer wore off, all that remained outside the window was the boundless starry sky.

The starship left him on a barren wasteland and hurriedly departed, not even landing properly, as if fleeing some ferocious beast.

In the distance, a beast roared, and the ground trembled.

He was alone in this wilderness; he was the only person on the entire planet.

In the eyes of the wild beasts on this primitive planet, a beautiful and fragile Omega was merely food, no longer afforded courtesy or protection.

As for his intended partner, he held no hope. The Alpha had already succumbed to his beastly nature, becoming like the other wild creatures, and was nowhere to be found.

Injured while searching for food, Shi Nuo was picked up from a pit by a giant white wolf. He closed his eyes, waiting for death. However, the fangs that should have pierced his throat instead sank into the gland at the back of his neck. The Alpha's pheromones were injected, causing him to tremble uncontrollably.

The arrival of the only Omega allowed for the release of pent-up pheromones.

Shi Nuo saw the white wolf eating but dared not approach too closely.

Fresh, bloody meat was right before his eyes. He finally received long-awaited meat from the wolf's mouth.

While Shi Nuo enjoyed his meal, the white wolf lay sleeping on the living room floor.

When night fell, it entered Shi Nuo's room.

The inherently cold white wolf had no intention of giving anything away. If one wanted food, one had to exchange it for something else.

Later, Shi Nuo's lower abdomen swelled slightly. He patted his belly, somewhat surprised. How could he have gained weight in such a place?

In the snowy field, the majestic white wolf returned with its prey in its mouth, its icy blue eyes cold and handsome.

Shi Nuo was overjoyed by its return, his eyes filled with delight at the sight of the plump prey. There was meat to eat again, and the price he had to pay for the meat was no longer a concern.

At the dinner table, the tall, sturdy, white-haired man bent the knife and fork in his hand as he watched the Omega, whose eyes held only the image of meat.

Theme: Only by surviving can one witness all that is beautiful. Food will come, and so will love.
