Chapter 69 – Extra:
Countless stars dotted the night sky, and a shimmering ribbon of light, formed by the clustered stars of the First Star System, stretched across the heavens, known as the “Star River Ribbon.”
Yijin Star, located near the First Star System, was the best place to view this celestial spectacle.
Once a mining planet, its primary export the precious metal Yijin, it had been transformed into a massive observation platform after its resources were depleted.
The open-air restaurant offered a breathtaking view, its highest platform equipped with special noise-dampening technology, the sounds of the bustling entertainment district below a distant, muffled hum, the starlight bright enough to illuminate the tables, creating a romantic, almost magical, atmosphere.
Shi Nuo wore a simple yet elegant suit, his hair neatly styled, the starlight illuminating his handsome features.
Hugh hadn’t arrived yet, so he stood by the railing, looking down at the city below.
The entertainment district was brightly lit, filled with couples, families, and solo tourists, a vibrant and lively scene.
Yijin Star had many observation points, each with its unique advantages, but this one, close to the First Star System and with its high safety rating, was a popular destination, the atmosphere relaxed and carefree.
Hearing footsteps, he turned around.
The tall, handsome, white-haired man held a large bouquet of flowers, their petals shimmering with a golden light, interspersed with a dozen or so golden flowers adorned with pink diamonds.
Hugh Elvis wore a suit similar to Shi Nuo’s, clearly a matching set, the starlight softening his sharp features, his hair meticulously styled.
He was impeccably dressed, his physique and appearance undeniably top-tier, flawless from every angle.
His blue eyes, the color of the deep ocean, met Shi Nuo’s, their gaze warm and gentle.
Shi Nuo smiled, taking the bouquet. “Did you go to pick these?”
Hugh nodded, pulling out a chair for him. “Yes. A last-minute decision. I had them rush these golden flowers.”
Several waiters appeared, carrying trays of food and drinks, placing them on the table.
After everything was served, Shi Nuo placed the heavy bouquet on the table and, smiling, began their dinner.
Under the starlight, everything was perfect.
The alcohol warmed Shi Nuo’s cheeks, and he rubbed them lightly, a faint blush spreading across his fair skin, his eyes sparkling like the stars above. The white-haired man across from him, his gaze darkening slightly, watched him.
Shi Nuo rarely drank, and after a single glass, Hugh finished the rest.
The warmth spread through his body, then a slight dizziness, though not unpleasant, still within his tolerance.
Seeing Shi Nuo’s slight discomfort, Hugh finished his last glass of wine, lifted the Omega into his arms, and carried him towards a partially hidden staircase.
After ascending several flights of stairs, they reached a private apartment adjacent to the open-air restaurant, its top floor purchased and furnished by Hugh.
Inside, Shi Nuo was placed gently on the rug.
He pursed his lips, pushed himself up, and sat, trying to appear unaffected by the alcohol, also trying not to look at the incredibly handsome Alpha, his appearance even more striking tonight.
Hugh Elvis, suppressing his own restlessness, unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt.
He didn’t understand Shi Nuo’s recent coldness, his reluctance to be intimate, always finding excuses to avoid him, even sleeping in the children’s room.
He had finally managed to find some free time and had brought Shi Nuo here, hoping for a romantic evening, but the Omega, instead of readily accepting his advances, was sitting upright, his expression hesitant.
Shi Nuo, feeling slightly dizzy, rubbed his temples. He wasn’t used to alcohol and should have stopped after the first sip.
But the glass had been full, and he had been happy, so he had finished it.
Something warm and fluffy suddenly landed in his lap, and he instinctively opened his eyes. The white wolf, its smaller form, stood before him, its large, fluffy tail draped across his legs.
Unable to resist the temptation, Shi Nuo wrapped his arms around the tail, his other hand gently stroking the soft fur.
The white fur was clean and soft, smelling faintly of ice lotuses.
He buried his face in the fur, inhaling the scent, even kissing it twice.
Realizing what he had done, he blushed, embarrassed.
The white wolf, however, seemed pleased, its blue eyes gleaming. So, he was still attractive to Shi Nuo, even in his beast form.
Shi Nuo reluctantly released the beautiful tail, his gaze lingering on it longingly.
His mind slightly clouded by the alcohol, when the white wolf lowered its head, offering its ears and head, he couldn’t resist and reached out, gently nuzzling and nibbling the wolf’s ears.
The wolf’s ears were sensitive, and it instinctively tried to shake its head, its ears twitching, but it restrained itself.
As its head was petted, it sighed softly, then lay down contentedly, its eyes half-closed, enjoying its mate’s touch.
Shi Nuo’s touch wasn’t hesitant or light but firm and confident, his hand moving from the wolf’s head down its neck, stroking its fur.
The white wolf was pleased, and Shi Nuo was also happy.
Later that night, seeing that Shi Nuo had sobered up, Hugh, concealing his own anxieties, brought a bottle of fruit wine, claiming it was a good one, not too strong.
Shi Nuo, having spent the evening petting the white wolf, his mood still light and cheerful, readily accepted the offered drink, Hugh gently pouring two glasses. The wine was sweet and delicious.
But soon, his mind became hazy again.
Hugh Elvis, holding him on the sofa, shifted back into his human form. “Why don’t you want to sleep with me?” he asked, his voice low, a hint of frustration in his eyes.
Shi Nuo, slightly drunk, his mind foggy, looked up at the handsome Alpha, his gaze fixed on his face.
He couldn’t look away. This was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, his Alpha.
His words, slightly slurred, were surprisingly honest. “You like that too much. You don’t know how to…control yourself. Xiao Huo is only two, and I heard you asking her if she wanted a little sister.”
Xiao Huo was their daughter, her formal name Shi Xiao Mu, or Mu Elvis, born two years after Wu Wu, a sweet and adorable child.
Shi Nuo’s gaze sharpened suddenly. “Having children is just an excuse. You just want…”
Hugh raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly, amused by Shi Nuo’s drunken boldness, his mixture of shame and bravado. He kissed Shi Nuo’s lips. “You’re right,” he said, his voice husky.
Shi Nuo felt a surge of anger, but he didn’t know how to express it, his mind still clouded by the alcohol. Remembering Wu Wu’s playful antics, he bared his teeth at Hugh.
The man laughed again, amused by Shi Nuo’s clumsy attempt at intimidation. He also bared his teeth, his sharp canines glinting in the dim light.
His eyes narrowed slightly, his expression suddenly cold and dominant, his inherent power and authority evident.
Shi Nuo, his own attempt at intimidation clearly ineffective, closed his mouth, his gaze fixed on the Alpha’s fangs. He couldn’t resist reaching out and touching them, his fingers tracing their sharp edges.
They were sharp, and he winced slightly.
He frowned, displeased, and snuggled closer to Hugh, mumbling, “Sleepy.”
Hugh sighed but couldn’t let him sleep like this. He lifted Shi Nuo and carried him to the bathroom. “Let’s brush your teeth and wash up first. You’ll blame me tomorrow if you wake up feeling…unpleasant.”
It was late when they finally finished, and Shi Nuo, nestled in the Alpha’s warm embrace, quickly fell asleep.
He woke up sometime during the night, restless and uncomfortable, pushing the blankets away, moving out of Hugh’s arms.
The discomfort intensified. He dreamed he was immersed in boiling water, struggling to escape, then he dreamed of Hugh’s touch, followed by the white wolf’s embrace.
He thrashed, wanting to escape, and the dream shifted, the oppressive heat replaced by a strange emptiness, a hollowness that made him even more restless.
His body burning, covered in sweat, he opened his eyes, his mind clearing momentarily, and realized his heat cycle had arrived.
The alcohol had likely triggered it, making it more intense, his cheeks flushed, tears welling up in his eyes.
Hugh Elvis, sensing his distress, opened his eyes and, in the darkness, saw the Omega’s arousal.
He was pushed onto his back, his hand instinctively reaching for Shi Nuo’s slender waist, the warmth of his skin a clear indication of his heat.
So, it had arrived early.
Shi Nuo whimpered softly, his body, accustomed to the Alpha’s attentions, craving more.
Hugh Elvis didn’t hesitate. In the darkness, a shadowy figure appeared, its form obscured by the night, its movements barely visible.
Imperial Star.
The Elvis Estate.
The flowerbeds lining the path were adorned with colorful gemstones, their sparkling surfaces creating a magical atmosphere.
At the end of the path stood a castle.
The usually austere castle was also decorated with colorful gems and crystals, transformed into a fairy-tale setting.
Inside, the castle was filled with guests.
In a private room, Shi Nuo anxiously prepared for the ceremony, surrounded by stylists.
Wu Wu, at six years old, had lost his baby fat, his delicate features more defined, though he was still adorable.
Two-year-old Xiao Huo, having just learned to walk, followed her older brother everywhere, her small legs moving quickly, her steps unsteady.
Her large eyes and short hair made her look even more cherubic, her fair skin and sweet smile endearing, like a porcelain doll. Her dark hair and eyes, inherited from Shi Nuo, were a stark contrast to her father and brother’s white hair and blue eyes, but her features were even more delicate and refined.
“Papa,” she cried, hugging Shi Nuo’s leg and sitting on his foot, her small face a picture of grievance. “Can’t catch Gēge.”
Her childish pronunciation made her words difficult to understand, only those who cared for her regularly able to decipher them.
Shi Nuo smiled, lifted his daughter into his arms, her chubby little body and soft cheeks reminding him of Wu Wu when he was younger.
He looked at Wu Wu, who had stopped running around and was busy making a bouquet of flowers, dressed in a small suit, looking both handsome and adorable.
He carried Xiao Huo over to him. “What are you doing, Wu Wu?”
Wu Wu, having taken crafting lessons, his small hands surprisingly nimble, finally managed to tie the flowers together. He looked up at his sister and held out the bouquet. “Mei Mei likes flowers. Wu Wu makes flowers for Mei Mei.”
Xiao Huo, her earlier distress forgotten, clapped her hands, giggling happily.
Shi Nuo put her down and let her play with her brother.
Their laughter filled the room as Wu Wu, holding his sister’s chubby cheeks, kissed her repeatedly.
Xiao Huo giggled and reached out to touch her brother’s face, then his hair, its unusual texture different from her own, and was stopped by Wu Wu. “No, this is Gēge’s hairstyle. Don’t touch.”
Xiao Huo, her large eyes blinking, not fully understanding his words, but sensing his disapproval, withdrew her hand, clutching her small bouquet.
Wu Wu’s hairstyle was indeed stylish, created by the stylists earlier. He knew he was responsible for carrying the rings with his sister today, a task he took very seriously.
After Shi Nuo was ready, he carried Xiao Huo to the dressing room and changed her into a beautiful dress.
The dress, adorned with countless tiny diamonds and woven with silver thread, shimmered and sparkled, though not excessively so, and Xiao Huo, her eyes wide with wonder, gasped. She had recently developed a fascination with sparkly things.
The diamonds and gemstones decorating the castle for the wedding had been her idea, a request Hugh, who doted on his daughter, had readily fulfilled.
Shi Nuo also chose a pair of matching bracelets, also adorned with gemstones, for Xiao Huo.
The gemstones were raw stones Hugh had mined on Fenglin Planet, using Long Xu. After being cut and polished, some had been used for Xiao Huo’s jewelry, others for Wu Wu’s toys.
Seeing that it was still early, he had Xiao Huo twirl around, the dress shimmering and sparkling as she spun, a beautiful sight, though their Xiao Huo was even more beautiful.
He recorded a video of his daughter twirling, his eyes crinkling in a smile.
Someone knocked on the door, asking if they were ready, and he carried Xiao Huo outside.
The wedding ceremony was simple and beautiful.
As their families and friends watched, Shi Nuo and Hugh exchanged vows before the Beast God, and the hall erupted in applause and cheers.
Wu Wu, his small face unusually serious, led his sister forward, carrying the rings.
Xiao Huo, seeing her handsome father and beautiful papa, giggled, unaware of the significance of the moment, simply happy to be there.
As the rings were exchanged, thousands of flower buds above them bloomed simultaneously, their petals raining down.
Tiny, sparkling gemstones and diamonds also fell, like a miniature galaxy, shimmering and glittering, creating a magical, dreamlike scene.
Wu Wu, not understanding the meaning of the ceremony, but captivated by the beautiful spectacle, his excitement overflowing, shifted into his small white wolf form and ran around the stage, circling Shi Nuo and Hugh playfully.
Xiao Huo, seeing her brother running, squealed with delight and chased after him.
The scene became chaotic, their laughter echoing through the hall.
Hugh Elvis, his gaze fixed on Shi Nuo, hadn’t blinked, mesmerized by the Omega’s beauty, his hair and makeup expertly styled. He had been completely captivated.
He hadn’t anticipated Wu Wu and Xiao Huo’s sudden outburst of energy.
The guests laughed, and Arnold, sitting in the front row, chuckled and shook his head, amused by his grandchildren’s antics. They were both little rascals.
Shi Nuo and Hugh exchanged a look, a mixture of amusement and exasperation in their eyes.
Hugh started to chase after the small white wolf, and Shi Nuo, quick to react, grabbed Xiao Huo before she could join the chase.
The chaotic scene, captured by the photographers, was a picture of heartwarming domesticity, the four figures, each busy with their own task, yet their connection, their love for each other, evident.
-The End-
