Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 20: Feng Man is Absent

The matter with the Five Seas Sect had come to an end, and everyone shifted their gaze toward the mouse-whiskered man and his companions.

Someone stepped forward and asked, “Alliance Leader Zhao, who are these people? They don’t look like martial artists.”

Though the question was asked, there were so many people from the martial world present that most could guess the mouse-whiskered man’s profession just by his attire.

Furthermore, among so many martial artists, there were bound to be a few who had visited Liufang Court.

Speaking of the mouse-whiskered man and his lot, Lian Li felt a surge of anger.

He first walked over to the restrained Ma Tie and gave him a kick, then headed toward the mouse-whiskered man.

Seeing the Five Seas Sect disciple and Lian Li’s action of kicking Ma Tie, the mouse-whiskered man instantly recalled the previous time he had been brutally kicked by Lian Li.

Terrified, he retreated repeatedly.

“This is a pimp from that Liufang Court. Ma Tie, that bastard, wanted to sell me. You’d better investigate whether this man and Ma Tie have done similar things during their time in Xianglai City. If they have, the victims should still be here; hurry and rescue them.”

Lian Li walked up to the mouse-whiskered man. Before he could even make another move, the man’s eyes rolled back in terror, looking as if he were about to faint.

At this moment, the crowd noticed that the mouse-whiskered man seemed to have difficulty moving. As he squirmed, the hem of his robe shifted upward.

Upon closer inspection, the sight was wretched and unbearable.

Instantly, many of the male martial artists present felt a phantom chill in their lower bodies.

Yun Huizhou unsealed the mouse-whiskered man’s Mute Acupoint, and Lian Li questioned him, “How long have you been here? Besides me, have you forced any other decent people into prostitution?”

The mouse-whiskered man’s eyes darted around. One look and Lian Li knew he wasn’t being honest. He rested a hand on Yun Huizhou’s shoulder for balance, then raised his foot, aiming directly at the man’s severe injury.

“Speak!”

The mouse-whiskered man was practically traumatized by his kicks. Previously, Lian Li had kicked him barefoot; now that he was wearing shoes, the destructive power would only be greater.

However, how could he dare to speak? If he did, Lian Li would have a reason to kill him outright.

As cold sweat poured down the man’s face, Yun Huizhou unsealed the Mute Acupoints of Small-eyes and Strawberry-nose, looking at them with a threatening gaze.

Frightened by the look, Strawberry-nose scrambled to speak before Small-eyes could open his mouth. Like beans spilling from a bag, he blurted out everything regarding their activities in Xianglai City following the mouse-whiskered man to “collect goods.”

The mouse-whiskered man wanted to stop them, but he was paralyzed by the sight of Lian Li preparing to kick him.

After hearing Small-eyes finish, Zhao Rong waved his hand. A string of Qinghong Sword Sect disciples immediately took flight using Lightness Skill.

Judging by their direction, they were heading to find the “goods” held by the mouse-whiskered man and his subordinates.

At this time, Yun Huizhou placed his hand on his saber hilt again and spoke with a hint of killing intent, “Where is Feng Man?”

The crowd looked left and right, searching for Feng Man among the people.

After a long while, someone who had stayed in the same inn as Feng Man spoke up, “Two days ago, I saw Feng Man check out. He probably fled after learning that the Five Seas Sect disciple went to find Ma Tie.”

Yun Huizhou looked at Ma Tie.

Ma Tie was also secretly cursing that Feng Man in his heart. He didn’t even know the man—how did that guy know his hideout? He had been dragged into this mess and ended up captured because of him.

He looked up at the murderous Yun Huizhou and knew he was not one to be trifled with. He wanted to say something, but he truly had no information regarding Feng Man.

In the end, he could only say, “I really don’t know him, and I’ve never met him.”

Even when Yun Huizhou pressed the blade against his neck, he stuck to the same story. Seeing that he truly seemed ignorant, Yun Huizhou withdrew his saber.

Suddenly, Zhao Honglan cupped his hands and said to Lian Li, “This time, it is thanks to Young Master Lian subduing Ma Tie and these others that we were able to bring them back smoothly. Otherwise, who knows how many more innocent people would have been harmed by them. I must also congratulate Brother Yun; you will have a courageous and chivalrous Junior Brother in the future.”

As soon as he said this, everyone present was shocked.

They could all see that Lian Li possessed no martial arts at all, and his physique was weaker than the average person. How could he have subdued these four?

Especially since Ma Tie was a martial artist.

Lian Li was also stunned, but his intuition told him that Zhao Honglan was trying to help him. Thus, he struggled to control his expression, standing tall to accept the baptism of the crowd’s gazes.

Yun Huizhou also stood a bit straighter at this moment, appearing somewhat proud.

“Young Master Zhao, could you elaborate?” someone asked tactfully, not quite believing it.

Zhao Honglan said, “We do not know the exact details, but when we rushed there, Ma Tie and the other three had already been subdued. Young Master Lian was holding a dagger to Ma Tie, prepared to rid the people of this evil. At that time, only this pimp was still conscious among the four; he likely knows the full story.”

Someone chimed in, “I saw just now that the pimp is terrified of Young Master Lian. It seems Young Master Lian must have extraordinary methods.”

Lian Li: “…”

Lian Li’s gaze began to drift as he thought back to the process of subduing those four.

To be honest, when he was perched atop the Buddha statue swinging that stick—if one ignored the filth on the end of it—he did have a bit of the air of a legendary hero.

Mounted on a “steed,” wielding a long weapon, making it impossible for anyone to approach.

Meanwhile, the others present were offering compliments while casting their gazes toward the mouse-whiskered man and the others.

They were people who spent their years fighting in the martial world; by looking at the wounds, they could roughly deduce what kind of attacks had been sustained.

The pimp had clearly been kicked directly in his vitals, instantly losing his combat capability. Ma Tie’s head was bleeding, likely because he was caught off guard and struck in the skull, preventing him from mounting an effective resistance.

As for Strawberry-nose’s injuries, they were also easy to judge: fractured fingers and a leg that looked broken from hitting something.

He had likely fallen from a height while trying to climb somewhere, snapping his leg upon impact.

As for Small-eyes, they really couldn’t tell. He had a head injury as well, but it wasn’t severe enough to cause a total loss of combat ability.

They wondered exactly how this Young Master Lian had operated to subdue all four simultaneously.

The mouse-whiskered man’s lips trembled, and finally, his eyes rolled back as he fainted again.

The crowd sighed slightly. Some looked at Lian Li, while others looked at Small-eyes and Strawberry-nose.

Lian Li cleared his throat and said, “Actually, it was a stroke of luck. When the pimp entered the temple, he didn’t bring those two sturdy servants with him. When he approached me, I kicked him over. Ma Tie didn’t expect me to attack suddenly and rushed to stop me. But he probably wanted to sell me for money, so he didn’t use his martial arts, and seeing that I had no martial skills, he wasn’t very vigilant.”

“So, I conveniently grabbed a stick and struck a vital point on the side of his forehead. He couldn’t retreat in time, and I chased him down until he was knocked unconscious.”

“As for the other two servants…”

Lian Li didn’t want to admit in front of everyone that he had won by playing with feces. Just as he was frantically making up a lie in his head…

Over there, Small-eyes—who had been beaten to the punch by Strawberry-nose earlier regarding the “goods”—hurriedly spoke up to fill in the blanks of how Lian Li had subdued them.

The novel's supporting male character happened to be the great hero who had saved his puny life. All he knew was that this supporting character's martial arts skills would eventually deteriorate. To ensure the "golden thigh" he was clinging to grew even stronger, Lian Li began analyzing the reasons behind the stagnation of his protector's martial arts. After beating around the bush, he concluded that the big shot must have been plotted against while fighting for the hand of the "Number One Beauty Under Heaven." Not a big problem. He just needed to desensitize the golden thigh, seal his heart in cement, and make him focus solely on the Martial Dao! But who would have guessed that while he was busy clinging, the golden thigh's gaze started to look a bit off? It seemed he might have clung to the wrong... leg? Yun Huizhou hoisted Lian Li onto his shoulder and headed straight for a deserted area. After a long while, Lian Li looked completely bewildered. Much later, Lian Li realized that when Yun Huizhou said he wanted to marry the Number One Beauty Under Heaven, he wasn't technically wrong. Pfft!
