Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 39: Kiss Little Carp

“I lost.”

Zhao Linxu was too amazing.

The cold wind gently lifted Li Jianyu’s black, silk-like long hair. Li Jianyu stood before the massive, noble phoenix, his expression aloof, but Zhao Linxu was dumbfounded looking at the person before him.

Li Jianyu took a deep breath. “Zhao Linxu, I am the person from that night.”

Zhao Linxu’s eyes widened.

Had he heard wrong?

“Dragon Gate Leaping Carp is me, so I am the person you have been searching for. I didn’t tell you when you were announcing it to the world before, not because I wanted to tease you, but because I wasn’t ready, and I didn’t want to have any feelings with you beyond that of a sovereign and a subject.”

“Then… now…?” Zhao Linxu found that his tone was as light and nervous as Li Jianyu’s.

“What do you think?” Li Jianyu turned his head away.

The two of them were standing some distance apart, and at this moment, both were a little apprehensive.

“Little Carp…” Zhao Linxu swallowed, waiting with bated breath for Li Jianyu. “C-can I hug you?”

Zhao Linxu felt as if a bolt of lightning had struck him, leaving him completely stunned.

Li Jianyu looked up at the sky awkwardly.

The next moment, Li Jianyu felt the world spin, and he was pushed down by Zhao Linxu.

Zhao Linxu held Li Jianyu with one arm and protected his back and the back of his head with the other, pushing him down onto the grass and closing his eyes, pressing his lips firmly against his.

Li Jianyu’s eyes widened.

Wait…?

At the side, Dabao rolled its eyes. Its mission was complete. So, it flapped its wings and flew away, just like that, throwing its master into the mouth of the big gray wolf.

Four lips were pressed tightly together, rubbing, nibbling. Zhao Linxu was like a big wild wolf that had pounced on its prey and was now savoring it, almost wanting to melt Li Jianyu into his embrace.

Happy, so happy!

Zhao Linxu had imagined many ways in which he would tear through Li Jianyu’s disguise, leaving him with no escape but to throw himself into his arms. But he had never thought that Li Jianyu would take the initiative to tell him.

Little Carp was sweet, his lips soft. At this moment, being kissed by him, his breathing was rapid, and the blush on his cheeks was also very cute.

Li Jianyu tapped Zhao Linxu’s back with his hand, signaling him to stop.

Oh heavens… how could there be such a person, who would kiss him as soon as the words were out.

Li Jianyu’s face turned even redder, and even his earlobes were dyed the same color.

After the long song finally ended, Li Jianyu looked at Zhao Linxu’s satisfied expression and pouted. “Fool.”

“You’re the little fool,” Zhao Linxu said, pinching Li Jianyu’s nose with a smile. “Who was it that wore women’s clothes and desperately tried to hide their identity?”

Seeing Zhao Linxu’s unsurprised expression, Li Jianyu seemed to remember something.

He had been nervous at first, and then he had been kissed dizzy, so he had only just reacted.

“You knew all along that I was the person from that night?!”

Zhao Linxu rubbed his nose.

“You lied to me?” Li Jianyu felt that he was very foolish.

Had Zhao Linxu known all along!

Zhao Linxu helped Li Jianyu up and pleaded guilty. “I was wrong, but I only just found out recently. It was Zhao Zhanqi who told me when he attacked the city, and I also saw your tattoo at the bottom of the cliff…”

“You bastard!”

Li Jianyu punched Zhao Linxu in the stomach.

“Hiss… you lied to me before too. Let’s call it even, okay, hmm?” Zhao Linxu held Li Jianyu’s wrist and said pitifully, “Let’s call it even?”

Li Jianyu reluctantly accepted.

Zhao Linxu pulled the person into his arms and smiled. “Then Little Carp and our child will go south with me to the border to fight the bad guys. I will protect you both well.”

“Mm.”

The Great Xi, unlike the Great Gong, which was backed by mountains, was built along a river and relied on it for survival.

The Great Xi’s imperial palace was also built by the river, and one could hear the gurgling of the water from within the palace.

At this moment, in the imperial study, a man with gentle eyes and brows was sitting in an armchair, his face flushed, his breathing uneven, and he looked a little uncomfortable.

If one looked closely, one could see that the man’s wrists and ankles were tied to the armrests and legs of the chair with silk, unable to move.

With a creak, the door was pushed open, and another man walked in slowly.

“Imperial Brother, are you alright?” The man, Feng Juheng, had a somewhat wicked look in his features. He looked at the man in the chair and smiled. “I’ve come to keep you company.”

Feng Juheng held a memorial in one hand and gently stroked Feng Juhua’s cheek with the other.

Feng Juhua lowered his head, not looking at him, and didn’t speak.

“Imperial Brother, why are you sweating so much?” Feng Juheng’s hand slowly moved down, covering Feng Juhua’s chest, caressing, teasing. He even lowered his head and, with a look of obsession, kissed Feng Juhua’s ear, cheek, the tip of his nose, and finally, his lips.

Feng Juhua was tied to the chair and could only passively endure Feng Juheng’s teasing. His body was becoming more and more difficult to control, but he had no outlet.

“Enough…”

Hearing Feng Juhua’s hoarse voice, Feng Juheng raised an eyebrow, stood up, and smiled. “Alright, I’ll listen to Imperial Brother. Come, I’ll show Imperial Brother something…”

There was a hint of mischief in Feng Juheng’s eyes. He unfolded the memorial in his hand and held it before Feng Juhua’s eyes.

“Imperial Brother, look. After much hard work and painstaking management, I have finally obtained the secret formula from the leader of the Taotie. Red Snake has also refined the gu-poison for us. As long as we have our soldiers take the gu-poison, they will be as invincible as the Taotie and conquer the empire for us!”

“You…!” Feng Juhua was so angry that he trembled all over.

“Those are our soldiers! Hot-blooded men who risk their lives for the Great Xi, and you want to turn them into such… you beast!”

Hearing Feng Juhua’s scolding, Feng Juheng didn’t get angry. He still looked at Feng Juhua with those affectionate and doting eyes. “Imperial Brother, I don’t like it when you scold me. I like it when you dote on me. Imperial Brother, I like you so much.”

“I’ve liked you since we were children. You know that… Imperial Brother, if you would just look at me, I would do anything.”

Feng Juheng’s tone was very gentle. His hand reached into the hem of Feng Juhua’s robe and, sure enough, he touched that cold, hard object.

“Ah…!” Feng Juhua tilted his head back, his toes curling.

“Imperial Brother, I like you so much. Can you smile at me too? If you smile, I won’t bully you anymore,” Feng Juheng said as he rested his head on Feng Juhua’s shoulder, one arm around him, the other causing mischief.

“You… you beast… We… will never agree…”

“Be good. Imperial Brother, be good and stamp it. Otherwise, tomorrow morning at court, you will go with what you are holding now. I will do as I say.”

Feng Juhua’s body stiffened.

Feng Juheng untied one of Feng Juhua’s hands and stuffed the imperial seal into it.

“Come, stamp it.”

Feng Juhua’s eyes were red. He glared at Feng Juheng fiercely, his body trembling as he endured the pleasure that was almost tearing him apart.

“Be good.”

Feng Juhua sneered coldly.

Now that the Great Xi had fallen into Feng Juheng’s hands, when had he ever needed his nod of approval and stamp? Now, he was just finding ways to humiliate him.

“You beast…” After stamping it, Feng Juhua gripped the armrest tightly and choked, “One day, you will get your retribution.”

“Oh?” Feng Juheng increased the force in his hand as a punishment and raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you worry. Red Snake is the most outstanding sorcerer in our Great Xi in a hundred years. I believe in him. The gu-poison he refines will definitely make your body obediently listen to me.”

“And… heh, don’t you count on him to come and save you. I’m telling you, if you dare to act rashly, I guarantee that the hundred gu-poisons in the Ghost-Faced General’s body will all erupt, and he will wish he were dead.”

A look of deathly gray filled Feng Juhua’s eyes. He closed his eyes and let himself sink into the pleasure that was driving him mad.

“Imperial Brother, wait for me to conquer a vast empire for you. When our soldiers become stronger, we will first take down the Great Gong, and let the blood and bones of the North-South army and the Valiant Cavalry Army whet the appetite of the Great Xi’s soldiers…”
