Chapter 29: Even a Dog Wouldn’t Eat It
“Please tell Peter not to project his disgusting fetishes onto me.”
Hearing Romeo’s words, Qiuyue’s face turned as black as the bottom of an iron pot. He seemed unwilling to believe that an Alpha like Romeo could resist his biological instincts.
“I’d like to see how long you can keep up this act,” even Qiuyue didn’t notice that his tone was now tinged with a twisted anger.
Qiuyue’s hand gripped the iron rod tightly, the veins on the back of his hand bulging. Just as Romeo thought Qiuyue was about to swing the iron rod at his chin, Qiuyue just gave him a sinister glare and left.
Watching Qiuyue’s back disappear, Romeo coldly spat out three words: “Pathetic creature.”
Peter stared grimly at the monitor.
He saw Romeo’s every move, but he didn’t find it interesting at all. Instead, an indescribable sense of humiliation and frustration grew in his heart.
Why? Why didn’t Romeo act according to his plan?
It was like an invisible slap, harshly striking Peter’s face, even though his physical body felt no pain.
Peter turned his head and looked at Wen En.
Wen En’s gaze was also fixed on the monitor. He was frowning, lost in thought.
In fact, he was just thinking about how to break the deadlock, how to get himself and Romeo out of here.
However, Peter, whose mind was occupied by feelings of frustration, couldn’t think that far. He just thought that Wen En must be jealous of Romeo. After all, they had seemed very close and had a good relationship before.
Peter’s eyes darted around, and he came up with a new idea to torture Wen En and Romeo.
Peter stood in front of Wen En, his body blocking his view of the monitor. “Hey, please move,” Wen En said with a frown, dissatisfied.
This time, Peter was not angered by Wen En’s rude tone. Instead, he said, “Ethan, you should focus more on Romeo. He can endure it for now, but that doesn’t mean he will in the future.”
“So?” Wen En raised an eyebrow.
“He will cheat on you with an Omega sooner or later.”
Peter’s finger poked at Romeo’s face on the monitor and said, “Look, he’s already having a physiological reaction. He’s no different from other Alphas.”
“What are you trying to prove?”
Wen En’s expression was hard to describe. Why is this villain’s logic so strange? He really couldn’t get Peter’s train of thought.
But Peter just thought Wen En was being stubborn. So, he said something he thought would be devastatingly effective:
“Have you ever thought about whether Romeo has a real orgasm when he has sex with you?”
“…”
Wen En: Frowned, rolled his eyes, twitched the corner of his mouth.
What the hell.
“Why are you asking this? What does it have to do with you?” Wen En was speechless.
Peter laughed loudly. See, he must have hit a sore spot. Just as he was about to continue his taunts, a light sentence from Wen En almost made Peter break down:
“Oh, I see,” Wen En said.
“Could it be that your Omega ex cheated on you, causing you significant psychological trauma, so that’s why…” Wen En looked at the monitor, then at Peter with a look of helplessness and pity. “So, that’s why you have this strange fetish, like a ‘cuckold fetish’…”
“Slap—”
Wen En turned his head to the side.
Before he could finish his taunt, Peter suddenly slapped him hard across the face.
Peter’s face was a mixture of green and black, like mold growing on a marble step.
At that moment, a person walked in. It was Qiuyue.
Qiuyue stopped in his tracks because he saw that Peter’s face was not looking good. He seemed to be in a rage.
“Come here,” Peter said, taking a deep breath.
Qiuyue hesitated for a moment, but still walked over.
“Peter, I…”
Qiuyue had intended to briefly report on the situation, but he hadn’t expected that the moment he got to Peter’s side, Peter would suddenly slap him, sending him to the ground.
Qiuyue clutched his face, his expression filled with disbelief. He didn’t understand why Peter was treating him like this.
“Useless! I only asked you to do this one thing, and you managed to screw it up!” Peter kicked Qiuyue in the stomach. Qiuyue clutched his stomach in pain and curled up on the ground.
Peter did not let him go. He grabbed his hair and forced him to look up. “Tell me, how should I punish you?” Peter said viciously.
In an instant, the strong Alpha pheromone, like a thick fog, swept through the entire room. Even Wen En, a Beta who was not sensitive to pheromones, wrinkled his face in disgust.
“I… don’t know,” Qiuyue’s voice trembled. After all, he was just an Omega. This Alpha pheromone was beyond his tolerance.
“How about this,” Peter suddenly pointed at Wen En and said, “You go over there, strip naked, and seduce him. That will be your punishment, okay?”
Qiuyue’s eyes widened in terror, like a frightened little animal, and he shook his head frantically.
Wen En, who had witnessed everything: …
He knew Peter had a cuckold fetish!!!
But the point was, Wen En had no desire to be a part of their strange cuckold play!
Wen En was just a Beta, please spare him!
“It’s okay. I’ll be right here to protect you,” Peter said softly. “I won’t let him hurt you.”
“I was wrong, Peter. It was my mistake this time. Please don’t do this…”
Wen En had known Qiuyue for no more than a few hours. This was the first time he had seen a look of embarrassment and fear on his face.
Peter sneered. He had no pity for Qiuyue now. He just felt annoyed. But he had only been trying to scare him. He had no real intention of forcing him to do such a thing. But even if Qiuyue did it, it wouldn’t matter. Peter would just watch it as a good show.
He kicked Qiuyue again, cursed “bitch,” and then left for the time being. He couldn’t focus all his attention here. He had other work to do.
He left, leaving Qiuyue alone, sitting on the ground, clutching his stomach in silence.
After an unknown amount of time, one of Peter’s subordinates came in. This subordinate was responsible for delivering food to Peter’s prisoners. The subordinate had a sullen face. He casually threw a piece of rye bread, as hard as a brick, at Wen En’s feet and left without a second glance.
“…How am I supposed to eat this?”
Wen En was speechless. His hands and feet were tied, and he couldn’t move. How was he supposed to get the food? Couldn’t they be a little less perfunctory?
He glanced at Qiuyue, who was sitting on the ground, his head lowered, staring at the floor. “Do you want to eat dinner?”
“No,” Qiuyue replied coldly.
“Then I’ll eat,” Wen En said, not being polite with him at all. He ordered, “Please pick up the bread for me.”
Qiuyue glared at him and turned his head away, ignoring him.
“Or you can untie me, and I’ll get it myself.”
“In your dreams. Impossible,” Qiuyue said through gritted teeth.
“At least my personality is more stable than an Alpha’s. I don’t hit people randomly,” Wen En said. “If you secretly untie me, I promise I won’t hit you. Not only that, but after the mission is over, I will fight for a reduced sentence for you in the interstellar court.”
“Interstellar court… reduced sentence…” Qiuyue murmured. He had a sudden realization. “Could it be that you’re really…”
Not long after Qiuyue left, Romeo fell into a daze and slept for an unknown amount of time. He was woken up by a wave of heat.
Romeo opened his eyes and sat up.
“Hiss…”
The nerve connecting his temple and eye was throbbing with an unbearable pain. He had to rub his temple, but it was of no use.
He looked down at a certain active area.
He felt terrible right now. His head ached as if it had been stabbed several times with an awl. His throat was dry, itchy, and painful, and his ears were ringing from time to time.
Only a certain place… was particularly active.
Alphas are really animals, Romeo complained in his mind.
Romeo was not very familiar with this feeling of being both sluggish and active, but it was not entirely unfamiliar either.
He was now in an Alpha’s rut. If it was not relieved for a long time, the Alpha’s sex hormones would conflict with the body’s immune system, causing various physical discomforts, including but not limited to: trigeminal neuralgia, tinnitus, fever, difficulty breathing, palpitations…
Romeo slowly exhaled. He glanced at the Omega curled up on the other side of the cage. The Omega had woken up before him. He also looked very uncomfortable. His face was covered in purple bruises, and his neck was as red as a hot iron.
The timid Omega didn’t even dare to look in his direction. Despite this, the Omega’s pheromones drifted over uncontrollably.
“…”
Romeo felt the veins on his forehead were about to explode.
He reached out and, without any hesitation, bit down on the blood vessel in his wrist.
The sharp pain sobered Romeo up a lot. The sharp canine teeth pierced through flesh and blood. Fortunately, he did not break the blood vessel. The bright red blood just flowed down like a winding stream.
This strange and bloody scene scared the Omega. He tried to retract his pheromones and leaned against the iron bars, trying to get as far away from Romeo as possible, afraid that the damn Omega pheromones would stimulate the Alpha again and make him do something crazy.
Good, this is very good. Romeo was very satisfied with this distance. He didn’t want to look at the Omega who looked like a rag anymore.
The two were currently at peace. Just then, one of Peter’s subordinates came over.
The subordinate did not stay for long. He casually threw a piece of dry rye bread into the cage, then pinched his nose and left with a look of disgust. Apparently, the strong pheromone smell here made him uncomfortable.
Romeo looked at the dry bread and thought, This looks harder than my life.
But an Alpha in rut consumed a huge amount of energy even just sitting there. He touched his stomach, which was aching from hunger. Romeo had no choice but to pick up the bread. Although he thought it looked disgusting, and even a stray dog wouldn’t eat it, now was not the time to be picky.
The bread was broken in half. Romeo ate half, and the other half was thrown to the Omega. After all, the Omega looked too weak. He was afraid he would accidentally die here, and Romeo did not dare to be in the same cage with a corpse.
Looking at the other half of the bread, the Omega was a little surprised, but still said, “Thank you.”
The bread was not big. The two of them finished it quickly, and the cage fell silent again.
Hiss… it hurts.
Romeo looked at the hand that had been bitten to a bloody pulp. His hand and trigeminal nerve seemed to be taking turns in pain.
But there were no painkillers here. So Romeo leaned against the cage, closed his eyes to rest, hoping that the not-so-strong sleepiness would let him temporarily forget the pain.
