Chapter 30 Part 1
Shi Xu’s scent was intoxicating. Gu Sui wanted to devour him.
As Shi Xu’s breath filled his mouth, Gu Sui’s infatuation intensified. He seized control, cupping the back of Shi Xu’s head, deepening the kiss.
The pollutant didn’t understand kissing, but he had prepared.
The knowledge he gleaned online was enough to compensate for his lack of experience.
He parted Shi Xu’s lips, his tongue darting in, entwining with Shi Xu’s. The taste of Shi Xu’s saliva was intoxicating. He felt a pressure on the back of his neck.
Shi Xu hadn’t used much force initially, but sensing Gu Sui’s unwillingness to release him, he tightened his grip. This level of force would have brought his subordinates to their knees, but Gu Sui didn’t even flinch.
Pollutants could feel pain, but this one’s pain tolerance was incredibly high, or perhaps, his desire for Shi Xu overshadowed the pain, willing to endure anything for this moment.
His excitement caused countless transparent tentacles to sprout, shimmering orange-red in the setting sun. They wrapped around Shi Xu, not tightly, but enough to restrain him.
One tentacle gently supported the back of Shi Xu’s neck, a gesture of comfort, but Gu Sui’s assault continued relentlessly, offering no respite.
Their tongues tangled, the wet sounds echoing in Shi Xu’s ears, heightening his senses.
The friction of their lips was like a spark, igniting a fire that burned away his reason.
Even now, Shi Xu found kissing a pollutant repulsive.
He didn’t understand why he had initiated it.
Perhaps he had been charmed by Gu Sui’s foolish smile, or perhaps he was simply fulfilling his promise, indulging Gu Sui’s desire.
The feeling of being controlled, his lips, his tongue, his mind, was unsettling. That strange, unfamiliar sensation returned, stronger than before, making him weak.
He wanted to punch Gu Sui, but his hands were restrained, and he lacked the strength to break free.
He surrendered to Gu Sui’s relentless invasion, until he could barely breathe, only then did Gu Sui reluctantly release him.
Not completely.
Gu Sui’s lips lingered, gently pecking at his, the silver thread connecting them drawn into Gu Sui’s mouth, savored with a satisfied sigh.
“Wife, you’re so sweet…” Like a satiated dog, Gu Sui nuzzled his forehead against Shi Xu’s, then their noses, his eyes filled with adoration.
With each touch, he whispered words of love, his affection unrestrained.
Just as he was about to kiss Shi Xu again, Shi Xu pushed his face away.
The force brought Gu Sui back to reality, making him aware of Shi Xu’s anger.
Shi Xu’s chest heaved, his eyes cold, his voice hoarse but firm. “Get out!”
Gu Sui: “…”
The handsome young man squatted by the villa’s entrance for two hours, using his enhanced vision to count the blades of grass on the lawn. He still hadn’t heard any footsteps from inside.
Wife was still angry. He wouldn’t be allowed in tonight.
But he wouldn’t leave just because Shi Xu told him to. He would persist, even if it meant being scolded relentlessly.
Shi Xu had just agreed to marry him. He wouldn’t let go that easily.
Once Shi Xu’s anger subsided, they would get married.
Gu Sui fantasized about their future, recounting the blades of grass again, arriving at the same number.
Finally, the door opened.
Shi Xu, freshly showered, wore a white outfit, his eyes and lips the only spots of color.
Gu Sui instinctively glanced at his lips, savoring the memory of their taste, his expression carefully neutral, his voice cautious. “Wife, are… you… still… angry?”
Shi Xu released the doorknob, turning to walk inside. “Come in.”
Gu Sui’s eyes lit up. Despite squatting for hours, his knees felt fine. He stood up, quickly entering the villa, closing and locking the door, afraid Shi Xu would change his mind.
Shi Xu noticed his eagerness, and the lingering gaze on him.
He stopped by the sofa, turning to face Gu Sui, who repeated his earlier question.
Shi Xu countered, “Did I give you permission to touch me?”
Gu Sui shook his head.
Shi Xu continued, “Did I give you permission to kiss me?”
Gu Sui shook his head again.
Shi Xu: “Do you know why I disliked you before?”
Gu Sui stopped shaking his head, his eyes filled with helplessness, grievance, and fear.
If he didn’t know the pollutant’s simple mind, Shi Xu would have praised its acting. Even he felt a pang of sympathy.
Shi Xu: “I hate being entangled by your tentacles.”
It reminded him of being trapped in the rift, bound by countless tentacles, unable to escape, the feeling of despair and impending death.
“Sorry…” Gu Sui rushed to explain. “I… didn’t mean to… I couldn’t… control them. Touching you… makes me… excited. They… came out… on their own. I… will… control them… next time!”
Shi Xu’s expression remained unchanged, his voice colder. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”
Gu Sui’s lips thinned. He knew he had misspoken. He should apologize, but remembering Shi Xu’s words, he realized he had apologized too many times.
He apologized so often because he constantly made mistakes, angering Shi Xu.
In Shi Xu’s eyes, he must be untrustworthy.
He walked towards Shi Xu, relieved that Shi Xu didn’t retreat, even tilting his head back slightly, meeting his gaze.
Even though Shi Xu was looking up at him, Gu Sui felt like he was the one being looked down upon.
Even though Shi Xu wasn’t smiling, Gu Sui was captivated.
He remembered Shi Xu asking him why he liked him.
He had an answer now. He liked Shi Xu’s courage and arrogance, the feeling of submitting to him.
Perhaps Shi Xu was right. He was a pervert, obsessed with Shi Xu.
Seeing Gu Sui staring at him, lost in thought, Shi Xu sighed. Why could this creature get distracted even at a time like this?
Was he really that captivating?
“What do you want?” Shi Xu asked.
Countless transparent tentacles sprouted from behind Gu Sui, extending towards Shi Xu.
Gu Sui said, “These… are the ones… that touched you. If… Wife… angry… you can… cut them…”
Shi Xu: “…”
Even though Gu Sui spoke as if the tentacles were separate from him, Shi Xu knew they were a part of him. Cutting them would hurt him.
He could no longer casually dismember Gu Sui, even if he knew Gu Sui wouldn’t be truly harmed, even if Gu Sui offered them willingly.
He didn’t speak, his gaze sweeping over the tentacles. They all looked identical.
He asked Gu Sui, “Which ones restrained my hands?”
Gu Sui, without hesitation, pointed them out.
They were only as thick as his fingers. Shi Xu remembered the feeling of being bound by them.
Previously, he could easily sever them. This was the first time he had been truly trapped, powerless to resist.
He hated being restrained, hated the feeling of helplessness.
Gu Sui asked, “Wife, do… you… want to… cut them… yourself? Or… should I?”
“…”
Shi Xu suppressed a smile, pointing at the two tentacles. “Fight me with them.”
Gu Sui looked confused. “What?”
Shi Xu raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t you hear me?”
“I… heard,” Gu Sui said. “But… why… fight? I… can’t… fight… Wife.”
Shi Xu said impatiently, “Just do it. Stop talking.”
“But…” Gu Sui hesitated. Shi Xu grabbed the two tentacles.
Despite his verbal reluctance, the tentacles eagerly wrapped around Shi Xu’s wrists.
Unlike before, Shi Xu didn’t feel weak. He easily broke free, realizing—
His weakness was caused by Gu Sui’s influence, by their intimacy.
What a ridiculous way to subdue him.
Gu Sui, still rational, saw Shi Xu break free. The tentacles clapped cheerfully, as if applauding him.
He didn’t try to restrain Shi Xu again, asking tentatively, “Wife, is… this… okay?”
“No.” Shi Xu wasn’t satisfied. “Continue. Try harder this time.”
