Chapter 30 Part 2
Gu Sui frowned. “But… I really… can’t… fight… Wife.”
Domestic violence was illegal, and he would never hurt Shi Xu.
Shi Xu didn’t bother trying to understand his thoughts. He grabbed Gu Sui’s collar, pulling him closer, his finger tracing Gu Sui’s Adam’s apple.
“Focus on fighting. If you obey me, there will be a reward.”
Gu Sui’s eyes darkened, his Adam’s apple bobbing under Shi Xu’s finger. The tentacles around him trembled, their silent cries echoing in Gu Sui’s mind.
[Want reward! Want Wife’s reward!]
[What reward?]
[A kiss! Definitely a kiss!!!]
[Want Wife’s kiss, want to eat Wife’s mouth, Wife’s saliva, Wife…]
The tentacles represented the dark, unfiltered desires within him.
Compared to the frantic tentacles, Gu Sui appeared calm, but his ragged breathing betrayed him.
“Wife, I… really… can’t… fight you…” He hesitated. “Wife… will be… angry…”
He had tried, and Shi Xu got angry.
Even without the reward, he didn’t want to be kicked out again.
Shi Xu leaned closer, his lips brushing against Gu Sui’s, a fleeting touch.
He smiled, his finger still on Gu Sui’s Adam’s apple, his voice seductive. “Don’t you want this kind of reward?”
Gu Sui’s mind screamed: Yes!
He could see the inside of Shi Xu’s mouth, his pink tongue, his warm breath brushing against his cheek, inhaled greedily.
It wasn’t enough. He wanted more, having tasted Shi Xu’s sweetness.
“Fight me with all your strength. If you can trap me, there will be more rewards.”
Gu Sui abandoned his hesitation, falling into Shi Xu’s trap. Countless tentacles reached for him…
The fight lasted for an unknown amount of time, the living room in ruins.
The little black cat fled the scene midway, pushing the golden egg along with it.
Shi Xu still didn’t use his weapon. He endured for a long time, unable to sever the tentacles, finally succumbing to Gu Sui’s embrace.
His body restrained, he was pressed against the wall, Gu Sui’s tentacles forming a protective barrier around him.
He wasn’t hurt by the impact, but their colliding lips stung.
Gu Sui, no longer hesitant, was like a starved beast, devouring his hard-earned prize, claiming his reward, more ferocious than their first kiss.
Lost in his fervor, he didn’t notice that his assault met no resistance, Shi Xu’s mouth open, welcoming his invasion.
Nor did he notice the desire in Shi Xu’s half-lidded eyes, mirroring his own.
Shi Xu was used to being in control. He had wanted to eliminate Gu Sui because he had tasted the bitterness of losing control.
If Gu Sui hadn’t shown mercy, he wouldn’t have escaped the rift.
Being saved by his enemy was a bitter pill to swallow. He had dreamt of revenge.
But reality defied his expectations. He no longer wanted to kill Gu Sui, yet he still felt powerless against him.
Gu Sui had confessed that two-thirds of his power was sealed along with his body.
Even with only a fraction of his strength, Gu Sui could still overpower him. This frustrated him.
What frustrated him even more was that he didn’t resist Gu Sui’s kiss, even wanting more.
But he wouldn’t reveal his true feelings, wouldn’t express his desire to kiss Gu Sui.
He shouldn’t be controlled by a pollutant. He should be the one in control.
He wanted to manipulate Gu Sui, to satisfy his hidden desires without revealing his true intentions.
He succeeded.
He watched the infatuation and desire in Gu Sui’s eyes, closing his eyes in satisfaction, surrendering to the intoxicating kiss.
Shi Xu decided to change his routine, no longer adhering to a strict schedule.
On the first day of this change, he still woke up at his usual time.
Winter mornings were dark. A thick fog shrouded the world outside, making him feel listless.
Gu Sui was an exception.
When Shi Xu went downstairs, breakfast was ready, a table laden with food, both Chinese and Western dishes, enough for four people.
If Gu Sui had a visible excitement meter, it would be at 100, but that wouldn’t be the true value, just the maximum display, the actual value infinitely higher.
He had been like this since receiving Shi Xu’s two rewards last night. His excitement, instead of fading, intensified upon seeing Shi Xu again.
“Wife, I… made… many… things… you like! You want… red bean buns? Or… noodles?” He winked at Shi Xu, his eyes seductive. “Or… me… first?”
Shi Xu pushed his face away. Last night’s passion hadn’t softened him. “Stay away from me.”
“…” Gu Sui pouted. “Wife… so heartless! You… did that… to me… yesterday… and now… you ignore me!”
Shi Xu sat down, picking up a red bean bun. “What did I do to you yesterday?”
Gu Sui: “You… kissed me.”
Shi Xu nodded. “You kissed me too. We’re even.”
That wouldn’t deter Gu Sui. As expected, he leaned closer, his earlier dejection gone, smiling brightly. “Wife, you… don’t mind… kissing me… anymore… right?”
Shi Xu ate his bun, ignoring him.
Gu Sui moved his head into Shi Xu’s line of sight, his smile widening. “Wife, kissing me… not disgusting… right?”
Shi Xu chuckled. “So you finally understand what ‘disgusting’ means?”
He had explained it to Gu Sui before, albeit with a twisted definition. Back then, Gu Sui had believed him, enjoying being called “disgusting,” wanting to hear it every day.
His interactions with Gu Sui revealed his own mischievous nature.
But only with Gu Sui could he be truly himself.
“I… understand.” Gu Sui wasn’t offended. He knew Shi Xu was teasing him. He hadn’t confronted him after learning the true meaning of the word.
Shi Xu asked, “You’re not angry?”
Gu Sui, unfazed, said something surprising. “I… like… Wife… scolding me.”
“…” Shi Xu stared at him, speechless. “Are you serious?”
The red bean bun was filled with lard. Biting into it too deeply would make the melted lard drip. It was meant to be eaten by tearing the skin and dipping it into the filling.
While Shi Xu was distracted, a drop of lard dripped from the bun, about to land on his finger. Gu Sui quickly licked it away.
“Almost… spilled,” he said after swallowing, then quickly added, “I… saw it… dripping… couldn’t… help it…”
Shi Xu glanced at the wet spot on the bun, his expression complex.
Almost spilled.
Gu Sui’s words were a simple observation.
But Shi Xu felt it was also a subtle reminder of his own increasingly dark thoughts, his growing desires.
More filling dripped from the bun, landing on his finger.
Gu Sui offered him a tissue. As he did, Shi Xu extended his finger towards him.
He put down the soiled bun, his finger now coated in the red bean paste and lard mixture.
His long, slender finger, stained red, glistening with oil, looked… tempting.
Gu Sui swallowed, Shi Xu watching him with an amused smile. “Want to eat it?”
Gu Sui nodded eagerly, his eyes no longer innocent, his desire ignited by Shi Xu’s words.
Shi Xu pressed his soiled finger against Gu Sui’s lower lip. Gu Sui, having learned his lesson, didn’t move, his trembling betraying his suppressed desire.
Shi Xu let him suffer, waiting until Gu Sui’s eyes reddened with anticipation before slowly pushing his finger between his lips.
“Eat it,” he commanded softly. “Lick it clean.”
A soft moan escaped Gu Sui’s lips, a sound of relief and pleasure.
He eagerly sucked on Shi Xu’s finger.
He had to obey Wife.
One by one, he licked each finger clean, until Shi Xu was satisfied.
Jinzhu Bay was once the most expensive residential area in City S. After the pollutant invasion, many wealthy residents moved, leaving the area desolate.
Although the Anomaly Management Bureau had cleansed the area, occasional pollutant attacks still occurred. Some residents, however, remained, unafraid.
Cheng Fan had been a security guard at Jinzhu Bay for seven years. He had almost been killed by a pollutant, plagued by nightmares for years, yet he stayed.
The reason was simple. After the attacks, no one wanted to work there, driving up his salary to 20,000 yuan a month.
No other security guard earned that much. Cheng Fan believed that taking risks was the key to wealth. He planned to work there for a few more years, saving enough to buy a house, then retire.
Tonight was his night shift. Entering the security room, his colleague, Xiao Liu, informed him, “Brother Fan, we have a new colleague.”
Cheng Fan was surprised.
Currently, there were only three guards: him, Xiao Liu, and Xiao Wang. Xiao Liu had lasted three months. Xiao Wang resigned after just one, two days ago.
They found a replacement so quickly?
“Who’s that desperate?” He meant it as a joke. He was the desperate one. He didn’t think Xiao Liu would last six months.
Xiao Liu chuckled nervously, sharing the gossip he heard. “I heard he doesn’t work night shifts, just nine-to-five, no overtime, same salary as us…”
Cheng Fan’s frown deepened with each word.
He wasn’t highly educated, this was the best-paying job he could find.
Before hearing this, he hadn’t considered his job difficult, but now, he felt a pang of resentment.
“Why does he get nine-to-five, while we rotate night shifts? And the same salary! Who is he?!”
Xiao Liu flinched at his sudden outburst. “I-I don’t know. Maybe he has connections.”
Cheng Fan was even angrier. “Even with connections, that’s not fair! When he arrives, I’ll teach him a lesson!”
