Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

The Picked-Up Little Tentacle Begs Me to Take Responsibility 51p2

Chapter 51 Part 2: Extra 1

Gu Sui’s kiss chased after him, capturing his lips, but Shi Xu pushed him away before his tongue could invade.

Shi Xu covered his mouth. “I just ate hot pot. My breath smells.”

Gu Sui blinked, kissing the back of Shi Xu’s hand, his lips lingering. He smiled, his eyes crinkling. “I… don’t mind… I like… all of… Wife’s… smells…”

Shi Xu: “…” His lack of disgust was… concerning.

“I’m… serious,” Gu Sui’s gaze was sincere. He took Shi Xu’s hand, ignoring his resistance, kissing him deeply.

[Wife’s taste, I like~]

Shi Xu had recently discovered Gu Sui’s secret: he could not only read minds, but also project his thoughts onto others.

Before Shi Xu opened his heart to him, Gu Sui had restrained his ability, afraid of angering him. Now, emboldened by Shi Xu’s indulgence, he was becoming increasingly unrestrained.

Unable to speak while kissing, he conveyed his thoughts to Shi Xu, his desires unfiltered.

[Wife is so sweet, I like it so much, how could I dislike Wife’s taste? I like you the most, only you.]

[Want more, not enough~ Want you always.]

[Wish I could leave my mark inside you, permanently.]

[You’re mine forever!!!]

His body trapped, unable to escape Gu Sui’s intoxicating kiss, forced to endure his increasingly explicit thoughts, Shi Xu’s body burned, a single spark enough to ignite him.

Another round of passionate lovemaking ensued, as if to prove his lack of disgust, Gu Sui’s lips and tongue exploring every inch of his skin.

The word “pervert” echoed in Shi Xu’s mind as he drifted off to sleep.

So refined and gentle on the surface, so depraved underneath.

Gu Sui was a complete and utter pervert!

Sui Sui had been fond of the handsome and amusing Uncle Qi Yu since their first meeting.

One day, while accompanying his little dad to work, Uncle Qi Yu, who was on his day off, came to visit. They chatted all afternoon, even after Little Dad finished his shift.

When Big Dad Gu Sui came to pick Little Dad up, he hadn’t finished talking to Uncle Qi Yu. Gu Sui, having a brilliant idea, left him with Qi Yu for the night.

And after that night, he couldn’t bear to leave Qi Yu.

Qi Yu took him to the supermarket, buying him snacks and toys, then cooked him a delicious dinner. It wasn’t as good as Big Dad’s cooking, but it had a comforting warmth he enjoyed.

After that night, he didn’t want to leave. He called Shi Xu, asking if he could stay with Qi Yu for a few more days.

Gu Sui’s voice answered the phone. He relayed his request, and Gu Sui readily agreed, even sounding happy. “Stay with your Uncle Qi Yu for a few more days. No rush to come back. Your little dad has me. Don’t worry.”

He was speechless, imagining Gu Sui’s delighted expression. He briefly considered refusing, just to spite him, but the thought of spending more time with Qi Yu made him change his mind. He would let Gu Sui enjoy his victory for a few days. He would reclaim his Little Dad when he returned.

So he stayed with Qi Yu for seven days, expecting to get bored, to miss Shi Xu, but he didn’t.

The more time he spent with Qi Yu, the more he liked him. He was fun and considerate.

Even when busy, he always made time to prepare meals for him, reminding him to eat. He didn’t tell Qi Yu that he didn’t need to eat, not wanting to reject his kindness.

He enjoyed his kindness, wanting more of it.

Qi Yu played with him whenever he had time, taking him to new amusement parks and restaurants, more like a proper dad than Shi Xu and Gu Sui.

On the weekend, Qi Yu finally had a day off. He had promised Sui Sui a trip to the aquarium.

But plans changed. Before they could leave, he received a call from work, an urgent situation requiring his attention.

He apologized to Sui Sui, who, instead of getting upset, comforted him. “It’s okay. We can go another time. Uncle Qi Yu has to work even on his day off. You’re working so hard. Sui Sui will go with you.”

Qi Yu hesitated. In his eyes, Sui Sui was just a child who had just learned to walk, still needing to be carried sometimes. How could he take him to such a dangerous place? If something happened, how would he explain it to Shi Xu?

Sui Sui, sensing his hesitation, hugged his arm, swaying back and forth. “Sui Sui wants to be with Uncle Qi Yu. Wuwuwu… Sui Sui doesn’t want to stay home alone.”

Gu Sui’s tearful tactic was effective, working perfectly on Qi Yu.

Qi Yu, initially firm in his refusal, eventually relented, taking him along.

Before they arrived, the other espers had already contained the pollutant outbreak. Qi Yu was there for the cleanup. However, shortly after the espers left, another outbreak occurred, even more severe than the first.

He shielded Sui Sui instinctively. He had thought that as long as he kept an eye on Sui Sui, everything would be fine, but he hadn’t considered his own safety. Just as a pollutant lunged at him, its gaping maw about to swallow him whole, he was saved by an unexpected person.

Gu Sui had telepathy, and Sui Sui had his own unique ability: he could see a person’s soul.

Upon meeting Qi Yu, he saw his pure soul, similar to Shi Xu’s. He liked it.

Qi Yu was kind, easily moved, and protective of those he cared about.

Sui Sui wanted him to like him, so he deliberately hid his true strength, pretending to be a normal human child. His plan worked. Qi Yu’s fondness for him grew.

Facing a life-or-death situation, he could no longer maintain the facade.

He tore the pollutant apart with his bare hands, shocking everyone, including Qi Yu.

And Qi Yu realized he wasn’t an ordinary human child, but a creature born from the rift, a monster capable of manipulating people’s minds, a danger.

Seeing the shock in Qi Yu’s eyes, Sui Sui was afraid, fleeing back to Shi Xu’s house, seeking comfort in his little dad’s embrace after half a month away.

Shi Xu gently patted his back, asking softly, “What happened?”

Sui Sui shook his head, unable to speak.

He had willingly gone with Gu Sui, asking him to take him home, because he sensed no malice from him, trusting him implicitly.

He had approached Shi Xu for the same reason, the first name he remembered, the name he often heard from Shi Lin, the stories about him, drawing him to Shi Xu.

But Qi Yu was different from Gu Sui and Shi Xu. Qi Yu, despite his abilities, was a normal human. He didn’t know how Qi Yu would react to his true nature, whether he would be afraid, disgusted.

He soon had his answer. Shortly after returning to Shi Xu, Qi Yu called.

He wanted to know what they talked about, but Shi Xu didn’t use speakerphone.

Shi Xu’s expression told him everything.

A warm hand rested on his head, Shi Xu’s voice as gentle as ever. “What are you afraid of?”

“I… I’m a… monster…” He finally voiced his deepest fear.

Even before hatching, he had sensed human malice, learned from them what he was.

A demon that created desires, devoured hearts.

He knew Shi Xu told Qi Yu about him, but he still couldn’t resist pretending to be a normal child.

Shi Xu’s words wouldn’t reveal his true nature.

He hoped Qi Yu would see him as a normal child, even after witnessing his power, accepting him, protecting him.

An hour later, Qi Yu rushed over after finishing his work, relieved to see Sui Sui safe and sound, curled up on the sofa.

Too worried to greet Shi Xu and Gu Sui, he rushed to Sui Sui, wanting to scold him, but his expression softened, afraid of scaring him. “Why did you run away without telling me?! Do you know how dangerous that was?!”

Sui Sui stared at him, his red eyes wide.

Qi Yu’s concern was genuine. He crouched down, checking him for injuries, sighing in relief when he found none, but still asking, “Are you hurt?”

Sui Sui shook his head.

Qi Yu pressed, “Why did you run?”

Sui Sui’s voice choked with tears, bursting into tears. “I’m… not a… good boy…”

He had tried so hard to pretend, to deceive Qi Yu, wanting to be a good boy in his eyes.

Qi Yu couldn’t resist a crying child. He frantically wiped away his tears, a futile effort, the tears endless.

“I think you’re a good boy. I already know what you are. You didn’t do anything wrong. Those who say otherwise just want to use you, to blame you for their own greed. To me, you’re the cutest, kindest child in the world.”

“Really?” Sui Sui finally stopped crying, tears still clinging to his lashes, rolling down his cheeks as he hiccuped, wiped away by Qi Yu.

“You saved me, didn’t you?” Qi Yu smiled. “If not for you, I would have been swallowed by that pollutant. I should be thanking you.”

He took Sui Sui’s small hands in his, gently squeezing them.

“You don’t have to be afraid of me disliking you. I’m more worried about you disliking me. I’m not as amazing as your two dads, just an ordinary person. You’ll probably forget me soon…”

“No,” Sui Sui hugged him, his voice choked with emotion. “Sui Sui… likes… Uncle Qi Yu… very much… Sui Sui… won’t forget… Uncle Qi Yu… play with… Sui Sui… forever…”

Qi Yu hugged him tightly, his own voice thick with emotion. “Yes, I promise.”

Sui Sui held out his pinky finger. “Promise. Don’t forget.”

Qi Yu hooked his pinky around Sui Sui’s. “Yes, it’s a promise.”

Having cut ties with his parents, Qi Yu felt a sense of relief, but also a deep loneliness.

He often told Shi Xu he wanted to settle down, but it was just talk.

He hadn’t found anyone he truly liked, not wanting to settle just to avoid being alone.

He knew Shi Xu couldn’t be with him forever, resigning himself to a life of solitude.

But spending time with Sui Sui filled the emptiness, his wish for companionship fulfilled unexpectedly.

Shi Xu stood silently at the entrance, not wanting to interrupt their heartfelt exchange.

Gu Sui embraced him from behind, his lips brushing against his ear. “I’ll… always be… with you.”

You’re the most important person to me, and I’ll be the most important person to you, always.

Status: Completed Author: Native Language: Chinese
The war ended, the SSS-class pollutant was sealed, and Shi Xu became famous in one battle. His prominent family background, gentle and refined demeanor, and status as the peak of human combat power, combined with various other advantages, made Shi Xu the dream lover of many. However, just six months after the war ended, Shi Xu announced his marriage, choosing not to reveal his partner's identity. According to insiders, Shi Xu's partner was just an ordinary person. However, for him, Shi Xu was willing to give up his position as captain of the Anomaly Management Bureau and deliberately find a leisurely nine-to-five job, just to get off work on time and go home to be with his ordinary partner and the child his partner brought home. Someone ran into Shi Xu at the supermarket. The young man was as eye-catching as ever. Only, he had lost his former gentle elegance. He held a can of milk powder in his left hand and a bag of diapers in his right, and was rushing into a group of aunties, just to grab the discounted fresh eggs. This news shocked everyone. They couldn't understand what merits this ordinary partner possessed that could make the former god of war give up everything. Just before the world's rifts were about to be fully repaired, a fragment of the SSS-class pollutant escaped. It transformed into a human, determined to take revenge (take responsibility) on the human who sealed two-thirds of its body. The first time the pollutant saw Shi Xu, it fell in love. The second time it saw Shi Xu, the pollutant decided to be bound to him for life. The third time it met Shi Xu, the pollutant began to persistently pester and entangle him... but was rejected every time. It wasn't until the pollutant showed up, pitifully holding an egg that had fallen off of its body, that Shi Xu finally agreed to take responsibility.
Shi Xu appeared gentle on the surface, having been bound by rules and heavy pressure for too long. He rarely wanted to rebel. The SSS-class pollutant wasn't as dirty and disgusting as its name suggested. Its human form was handsome and refined, but it wasn't as quiet and gentle as its appearance suggested. It was passionate, unrestrained, and extremely clingy. Gu Sui discovered that every intimate contact with Shi Xu allowed him to find a fragment of his body. So, he fell in love with physical contact with Shi Xu, sticking close, rubbing against him, and then slowly devouring him... No one would have guessed that the lofty captain had willingly 'fallen', completely consumed by the filthy pollutant. [Short Scene] Shi Xu, after a day of work, sheds his refined exterior as soon as he gets home, pinning his little wife underneath him. "You grew another tentacle yesterday, didn't you? Let's play with it." The pollutant (holding the newly grown little tentacle, crying): Wuwuwu, this one... is going to be drained too?
