Chapter 53 Part 2: Extra 3
In the past few days, under Shi Xu’s deliberate guidance, Gu Sui learned restraint. He didn’t try to regain control, no longer clinging to it.
In just a few days, he had learned to control his impulses, no longer rushing to embrace Shi Xu, carefully holding him, not returning his kisses, obediently opening his mouth, letting Shi Xu explore, dominate.
He enjoyed Shi Xu’s initiative, his heart pounding since Shi Xu presented him with the roses, now beating even faster, exceeding a normal human’s heart rate.
He liked it!
He liked it so much!!
How could he like it this much?
His love for Shi Xu grew every day, without limits.
Shi Xu’s kisses always started gently, then intensified gradually. Gu Sui, who preferred a more aggressive approach, initially found this slow pace unsettling, but he soon discovered its advantages.
He could feel Shi Xu’s desire, his growing need for him.
And he enjoyed the prolonged intimacy.
But this time, the kiss ended after less than half a minute.
To Gu Sui, it was barely a taste. He chased after Shi Xu’s retreating lips, only to be pushed away.
Unsatisfied, he pouted, pleading, “Wife…”
Shi Xu smiled, his lips, still red and slightly swollen, a tempting sight. Gu Sui, captivated, touched his forehead to Shi Xu’s, their noses brushing against each other, trying to soothe his frustration, but it didn’t work.
“Wife…”
Before he could be driven mad with desire, Shi Xu finally spoke. “Don’t worry, I have another surprise for you. Do you want it?”
Gu Sui didn’t hesitate. “Yes!”
Then, his voice turning pitiful, “But… I’m still… anxious… Want… Wife’s kiss…”
Shi Xu pulled away slightly, his fingertip tracing the corner of Gu Sui’s eye. His smile was seductive. “Didn’t you want to see me in uniform?”
He leaned closer, lowering his voice, although they were alone. “I’ll wear it for you, okay?”
“Okay!” Gu Sui’s eyes lit up, his desire evident.
Sui Sui grew rapidly, now the size of a five-year-old, only two months after hatching.
Growing up fast had its advantages, but growing up slowly had even more.
He instinctively knew that becoming an adult would change Shi Xu and Qi Yu’s attitudes towards him. As a child, he could act spoiled, demand their attention.
He deliberately slowed down his growth, maintaining his current form, choosing to grow at a normal human pace.
Human children went to school. Shi Xu and Gu Sui hadn’t considered it, but Sui Sui requested it.
Shi Xu knew the principal of a kindergarten, a former colleague from the Anomaly Management Bureau. She readily agreed to enroll Sui Sui in the senior class. Within two days, the paperwork was completed.
The day before school started, Shi Xu took him to the mall to buy school supplies.
He stayed up all night, still excited the next morning.
Shi Xu personally took him to school on his first day.
It was past the start of the school year. The other children were already familiar with each other. Before entering the classroom, Shi Xu and Gu Sui discussed their concerns about Sui Sui’s ability to adapt, to get along with the other children.
Gu Sui, unable to contain his amusement, laughed, then, seeing Shi Xu’s expression, quickly said, “You know Sui Sui. He can even chat with earthworms. He’ll be fine.”
Shi Xu considered it, realizing Gu Sui was right. He felt a kiss on his cheek. “Why did you kiss me?”
Gu Sui nuzzled his face against Shi Xu’s shoulder. “Just wanted… to kiss Wife… Wife is… so cute…”
Who knew Shi Xu had this side to him?
Unfazed by SSS-class pollutants, yet worried about his child being ostracized in kindergarten.
“Wife, you’re… a good dad,” Gu Sui chuckled.
Shi Xu knew his own limitations. “I’m not a good dad.”
Gu Sui: “I don’t care. You’re the best dad in the world.”
Shi Xu teased, “Saying that… do you want to be my son?”
Gu Sui’s eyes darkened, his nose nuzzling Shi Xu’s neck. “If… you want… me to call you… Daddy… I can…”
His voice was husky, his words clearly implying more than just a paternal address.
Shi Xu: “What nonsense have you been watching?”
Gu Sui: “I… couldn’t… resist… Doesn’t… Wife… want to… play?”
After months together, Shi Xu was easily influenced by Gu Sui, his mind conjuring images of Gu Sui calling him “Daddy” during their intimate moments.
Or perhaps, with his recently discovered love for navel oranges, Gu Sui would cry and beg him to go faster, showering him with praise…
Gu Sui’s hand slipped under his clothes. Shi Xu’s eyes darkened. He turned to face Gu Sui, cupping his chin, then, as if punishing him, bit his lower lip.
Gu Sui cried out in pain, a mixture of excitement and grievance in his voice. “Wife, why… did you… bite me?”
Shi Xu’s grip on his chin tightened, his voice low and commanding. “What did you call me?”
Gu Sui, confused, felt Shi Xu’s finger on his Adam’s apple, the tingling sensation clearing his mind. He immediately put on a pitiful expression, his voice trembling. “Daddy.”
“…” Shi Xu almost broke character, but he quickly recovered, embracing his role.
Their playful banter continued for a while. Shi Xu slept for the entire afternoon. When he woke up, Gu Sui had already brought Sui Sui home.
Without being asked, Sui Sui excitedly recounted his day at kindergarten.
“The children… are all… friendly! I know… everyone… in my class!”
“My deskmate… is Xiao Hua… a cute girl… Her family… owns a… bakery… She brings me… pudding… every day… She even… brings some… for Little Dad… and Big Dad… Heehee, I… like Xiao Hua~”
Sui Sui didn’t hide his emotions, his likes and dislikes clearly expressed.
His cheerful demeanor eased Shi Xu’s worries, but a few days later, his smile vanished.
Shi Xu picked him up from school. Sui Sui greeted him with his usual enthusiasm, jumping into his arms, but his brow was furrowed.
Shi Xu tried to smooth it out several times, but Sui Sui continued to frown.
“Did someone bully you?”
Sui Sui shook his head, then confessed, “The day Little Dad took me to school, many children saw…”
Shi Xu had arrived on time, during the morning drop-off. Two months had passed since his resignation. He thought the public’s attention had waned. He hadn’t bothered with disguises, but his striking white hair and handsome features still attracted attention.
To many children, Captain Shi Xu of the Anomaly Management Bureau was like a superhero, their idol.
Even though he was no longer captain, they still adored him.
“A boy from another class… is very friendly… He brings me… snacks… every day… I thought… we were friends… but he just… wants to be… friends with… Little Dad!” He clenched his small fists, his chubby cheeks puffing out.
It wasn’t just that boy. Many children befriended him because of Shi Xu.
He didn’t mind them not being genuine friends, but he didn’t like them wanting his Little Dad.
Shi Xu realized he had become a legend, a god-like figure in the eyes of children.
After digesting this information, he tried to comfort Sui Sui, but Sui Sui remained clingy, refusing to leave his side, much to Gu Sui’s annoyance.
Hearing about this, Gu Sui, surprisingly, didn’t get jealous, siding with Sui Sui instead.
For the first time, father and son bonded over their shared enemy.
“How can they covet my little dad?!”
“Exactly! How can they have designs on my wife?! That’s my wife!!!”
Little Black, loyal to his baby, meowed in agreement.
“That’s right! That’s right!…”
After an hour of their combined complaints, Shi Xu finally silenced them.
A few days later, Sui Sui’s cheerful demeanor returned. Just as Shi Xu thought he had forgotten about it, Sui Sui did something… unexpected.
Shi Xu didn’t have many friends. After Shi Yan’s death, he cut ties with his relatives. Gu Sui had no family or friends. Their wedding was a small, private affair.
Before the wedding, Sui Sui asked, “Little dad, can I invite my friends?”
Shi Xu, rarely denying Sui Sui anything, readily agreed, not realizing Sui Sui intended to invite his entire kindergarten class.
On their wedding day, Sui Sui enthusiastically introduced his little dad and big dad to his classmates.
“Big dad loves little dad, little dad loves me, we’re the happiest family…”
He repeated this to everyone, including Lin Quan.
Lin Quan wasn’t sure if he should attend, or in what capacity, but Shi Xu had sent him an invitation. Not attending would only worsen their already strained relationship.
The day before the wedding, he cleared his schedule, then, realizing what he had done, felt a pang of anxiety.
He woke up early, staring at the invitation for two hours, before finally deciding to attend.
Gu Sui booked a private venue for their wedding. Lin Quan stood at the entrance for half an hour, listening to the music and chatter inside, hesitant to enter.
“Hello, uncle!” A childish voice echoed beside him.
He turned, seeing Sui Sui, his cute face tilted upwards, his golden eyes shining brightly in the sunlight.
Qi Yu often brought Sui Sui to the Anomaly Management Bureau. Sui Sui knew most of the staff, but Lin Quan, always busy, hadn’t had a chance to interact with him. He had heard about Sui Sui from Qi Yu, and he knew Shi Xu didn’t mind them interacting.
Sui Sui tugged on his hand. “Uncle, why… aren’t you… going inside?”
Lin Quan’s face flushed with embarrassment, his hand trembling slightly in Sui Sui’s grasp. He didn’t know how to answer, the reason difficult to articulate.
Sui Sui, not needing an answer, beckoned him closer. “Uncle, I’ll… tell you… a secret…”
“What secret?” He instinctively leaned closer.
Sui Sui covered his mouth with his hand, whispering, “Big dad loves little dad, little dad loves me, we’re the happiest family~”
Lin Quan had heard this countless times today.
The child wanted everyone to know, repeating it to almost every guest.
Looking into those bright, innocent eyes, the shadows that had been weighing on his heart lifted.
He finally found closure.
A smile touched his lips. “You’re very lucky.”
May your happiness last forever.
…
While the guests celebrated downstairs, the two grooms snuck away to the attic.
Mid-kiss, Shi Xu pulled away, his attention drawn to the figures below.
Gu Sui, his patience wearing thin, turned Shi Xu’s face towards him. “Your attention should be on me today!”
Shi Xu chuckled. “Just today?”
Gu Sui’s voice was firm. “Every day!”
Shi Xu wrapped his arms around his neck, his secret whispered into the kiss, breathed into Gu Sui’s mouth.
I’ve been captivated by you since the moment we met.
