Xu Qingyan watched as Lu Ze entered the door more naturally than he did, looked around, and then turned back to ask him, “Where should I put the things?”

Xu Qingyan was stunned. “Put what where?”

Lu Ze glanced at him again, his gaze falling on the kitchen. “Can I put them in the kitchen? Will a cat come and steal them?”

Xu Qingyan finally understood what he meant and quickly said, “No need… you take them back, you take them back yourself. We don’t need them.”

Before Lu Ze could speak, Xu’s father, who was in the room, heard the noise and asked in a loud voice, “Yanyan, who’s outside?”
