The Whole Family Are Villains, I’m the Group Pet 45

Chapter 45

Inside the classroom, another player took a deep breath, his mind clearing.

“Little boy, tell us what you’re doing here. If you help us, we might be able to help you too.”

Players had entered this school dungeon multiple times and knew that sometimes, information could be shared between different instances of the dungeon.

This child had appeared outside the classroom, but his aura was clean, his eyes innocent, not like the terrifying monsters outside.

Perhaps he was an ordinary child who had been accidentally dragged into this world?

Xing Nuo picked up the flashlight, accidentally switched it on, illuminating a small area of the hallway.

He gasped softly and turned to the player who had spoken.

“Really? Big brother, can you make monster teacher go away? He bad teacher…bullies children!”

The male player smiled wryly and shook his head.

“Sorry, I can’t.”

If he had the power to fight monsters, he wouldn’t be stuck in this C-level dungeon, grinding for points.

Xing Nuo sighed, then asked:

“Big brother, have you seen Teacher Xiao Song? Or my Big Brother?”

He puffed out his chest, thinking of Shen Baizhou, a hint of pride in his voice.

“My Big Brother high school student!”

He was very strong and could definitely chase the monster teacher away!

The male player wanted to say, What’s so great about being a high school student?

He was probably stuck in another classroom dungeon, praying for a miracle, just like them.

But looking at Xing Nuo’s innocent, delicate face, he couldn’t bring himself to say it.

“I haven’t seen them. But I have a tracking prop.”

He took out a small box and placed it on the desk, starting to negotiate with Xing Nuo.

“Little boy, go look at the numbers in the blue frame outside, and I’ll give you this tracking prop.”

He opened the box and demonstrated.

“When you open the box, a small firefly will appear. Think about what you’re looking for, and it will guide you there.”

But the target had to be in the same space as the user.

If they were in a different dungeon, the prop wouldn’t work.

And it only had three uses. This was the last one.

Xing Nuo, who had been searching blindly for his dad, brother, and teacher, knew this would be much faster.

He thought about it for a moment, then nodded.

“Okay.”

Holding the flashlight, his chair still attached to his bottom, he waddled to the wall outside the classroom and looked up at the principal’s introduction.

The small, black characters looked like tadpoles to the little one, who couldn’t read properly.

But the Arabic numerals stood out. Xing Nuo started searching and found numbers on the third and fifth lines.

From inside the classroom, a player called out anxiously:

“Kid, did you see it?! Are there any numbers?!”

Xing Nuo’s childish voice replied, his head nodding.

“Yes. First one…um…three and seven.”

The two numbers were written together, and Xing Nuo, not recognizing the combined number, read them separately.

The players mentally combined them into thirty-seven.

“Second one…eight.”

Fortunately, he recognized “eight.” He counted on his fingers, confirming he hadn’t made a mistake, and nodded.

The players hummed and asked:

“Any more?”

Xing Nuo continued searching, but the rest were characters he didn’t recognize. He shook his head.

“No know.”

The players, their faces serious, wrote down the two numbers and compared them.

“The first one can be ruled out. Thirty-seven is too big. I remember the school was founded less than seventy years ago. It takes at least three years to teach one generation of students. The principal couldn’t have been teaching longer than the school has existed.”

The other players agreed.

The female player repeated the number eight, licking her dry lips, and asked:

“What about ‘eight’?”

The principal having taught eight generations of monster students seemed plausible.

The other players sighed, leaning back in their chairs.

“The thing is, we don’t know if these numbers are even related to the test questions. It’s just a guess that the principal’s introduction contains the answers.”

But they had no other choice. They had to try!

The male player with the tracking prop closed the box, sighed, and tossed it to Xing Nuo.

“Here, kid. Take the prop. And keep the flashlight.”

Xing Nuo picked up the box and nodded. Just as he was about to leave, the male player asked:

“By the way, what’s your last name?”

The fifth question on the test was still blank.

Xing Nuo replied obediently: “Shen.”

The players, determined to answer all the questions, filled in the remaining blanks.

As they submitted their answers, they saw Xing Nuo’s small figure disappear into the darkness.

Almost instantly, the system marked the first two answers correct.

Before they could celebrate, the “eight” they had written for the third question was marked wrong.

No!

Eight was wrong!

The principal’s introduction didn’t contain the answer to the third question!

Before they could despair, the fourth answer was also marked wrong.

The male player’s face crumpled, ready to accept his fate, when his companion gasped.

“The fifth answer is correct?!”

He looked up and saw that the character “Shen,” which they had written for the fifth question, was marked correct!

The school monster’s last name was Shen?

The same as the little boy outside?!

Before they could process this, surrounded by the monster students’ sinister gazes, they cleared the dungeon and vanished.

At the same time, an announcement echoed through the school hallways:

[Attention! A student has been reported for disrupting classroom order and is currently wandering the halls!]

[Please return to your classroom immediately, or you will receive a major demerit!]

The players in the other classrooms, hearing the announcement, couldn’t help but wonder:

What kind of badass is this, daring to run out of the classroom?

That’s not how you’re supposed to play this dungeon!

Unfortunately, they didn’t have the guts to try it themselves. They continued working on their tests.

The announcement also sounded in Shen Baizhou’s classroom.

Their extended exam time was just ending.

The monster teacher eagerly collected the test papers, glaring at Shen Baizhou as he quickly graded them.

He had announced the rule earlier: he could only target the student with the lowest score.

Fortunately, Shen Baizhou didn’t disappoint him.

“Hahaha! Nine points!”

Even the former worst student in the class, the PE representative, had scored seventeen!

The monster teacher laughed maniacally and slammed the test paper on the desk.

“Let’s see, Shen Baizhou, was it? Come here and receive your punishment for being last!”

As the other students watched, their hearts pounding, Shen Baizhou stood up, his face dark, and walked towards the front of the class.

A girl, unable to bear it, called out:

“Shen Baizhou, don’t be reckless!”

Shen Baizhou didn’t look scared at all.

He looked furious!

As if he was about to fight the monster teacher.

If he did, he would be killed instantly!

The other students, still just high schoolers, worried about Shen Baizhou.

Shen Baizhou reached the front and, under the monster teacher’s gaze, picked up his test paper.

He looked it over and cursed.

“What a stupid test!”

None of the questions were on topics he was good at!

He stabbed his pen into the desk, wanting to examine his mistakes, when the monster teacher’s annoying voice sounded.

“Well, student, which do you want me to eat first? Your arm, or your brainless head?”

Shen Baizhou put down the test paper, his anger rising, his monolid lifting, and sneered.

“What did you say?”

He had no brain?

He grinned, slowly rolling up his sleeves.

As the whole class watched, Shen Baizhou punched the monster teacher, sending him flying into the desk.

“Since you said so, I’ll show you what ‘no brain’ looks like.”

As a girl in the front row screamed, covering her eyes, Shen Baizhou pulled the monster teacher, who was now a crumpled black mess embedded in the desk, back out.

“As a teacher, you must know how to solve these problems, right?”

He tossed the monster teacher, like a small chick, back onto the desk.

“Don’t waste my time. Start explaining the answers.”

The monster teacher, black smoke seeping from his body, a large part of his face no longer maintaining its human form, looked like he was about to disintegrate.

He looked up at the high school student in front of him and gasped.

“Which one of us is the monster?!”

How could he be so arrogant after scoring last?!

Shen Baizhou didn’t bother answering. Not swallowing him whole was already showing restraint, considering he was a teacher.

“Cut the crap. We always go over the test after a physics exam.”

Shen Baizhou’s face darkened, remembering his score.

“You better know the answers,” he said, his voice low and menacing.
