Recently, due to a bug when splitting chapters, it was only possible to upload using whole numbers, which is why recent releases ended up with a higher chapter number than the actual chapter number. The chapters already uploaded and their respective novels can no longer be fixed unless we edit and re-upload them chapter by chapter(Chapters content are okay, just the number in the list is incorrect), but that would take a lot of time. Therefore, those uploaded in that way will remain as they are. The bug has been fixed(lasted 1 day), as seen with the recently uploaded novels, which can be split into parts and everything works as usual. From now on, all new content will be uploaded in correct order as before the bug happens. If time permits in the future, we may attempt to reorganize the previously affected chapters.

Chapter 15

The Omegas chattered one after another, explaining the whole story clearly.

It all stemmed from his fight with Xu Zhicheng.

Back then, the onlookers had taken plenty of videos and photos, all posted to the Campus Network.

With videos, dialogues, and various “classmates” and “acquaintances” coming forward to testify, the cause and effect were crystal clear. Everyone knew he’d taken on an Alpha single-handedly for his Omega roommate—and won.

Then, a few days ago, he’d gotten into another fight with a strange Alpha.

Though some videos and photos were quickly deleted, the remaining ones clearly showed one of the parties involved: yet another Omega freshman, Mu Chenxing.

Even if Mu Chenxing seemed to have lost that fight, it didn’t stop the students from boiling over with excitement.

Sure, there were Alphas griping in the comments, but plenty of Omegas chimed in with envy—especially the first-years—for Xia Weizhen.

Several Omegas tearfully vented in the threads about being harassed and teased by Alphas, plus getting shunned by other Omegas.

Amid the crying, someone mentioned that Mu Chenxing seemed to be organizing an Omega Mutual Aid Association to provide protection for the school’s Omegas.

The “evidence”? He was seen running and training with a few Omegas, applying for an association at the Administrative Building, and visiting the Medical Building every day to check on the psychological and physical health of the school’s Omegas—preparing for the work ahead.

Mu Chenxing: “…”

Training with Omegas—his roommates worrying about him and joining his workouts.

Going to the Administrative Building—summoned over an incident.

Visiting the Medical Building—getting a check-up.

…And they wove that into a logical narrative.

He rubbed his forehead. “No, there isn’t. Nothing like that.”

The Omegas: “Huh?”

“But—”

Mu Chenxing lowered his hand. “It’s all a misunderstanding. No association, no application. I run and train to stay fit, and the ones exercising with me are my roommates.”

The Omegas exchanged glances.

The one in the yellow clothes spoke up first, timidly. “Even if it’s a misunderstanding, it’s not too late to start now—”

“Sorry, I’m not interested.” Mu Chenxing cut him off.

The Omegas: “?”

“You’re so strong—”

“Nothing else? I’m continuing my run.” Mu Chenxing nodded to them and turned to jog off.

The Omegas: “…”

Mu Chenxing finished his lap and returned to the dorm, showered, tidied up, and dove back into reviewing.

With the school celebration over, midterms loomed. He needed to hit the books hard—at least not embarrass himself on the exams.

His mind fully on studying, he’d completely forgotten the little mishap from his run.

The next day.

Mu Chenxing went about his routine with his roommates, switching between different lecture halls and classrooms.

But… the atmosphere felt off.

Freshman classes were mostly large lectures, with several classes together—mostly Omegas, a few Betas.

Since each class was in a different room, even classmates from the same class barely interacted.

Tong Xiao and the others still chatted with guys from neighboring dorms, but Mu Chenxing stuck to his “less contact, less trouble” principle, keeping things to nods of acquaintance.

Today, though, lots of people were sneakily eyeing him, whispering now and then.

…As clumsy as kids playing spy—

No, these were just ten-or-so-year-olds. They were basically new humans.

Mu Chenxing paid it no mind and calmly listened, taking notes.

The second to notice was the most sensitive one, Tao Xirui.

He nudged Tong Xiao and whispered to ask what was up.

Mu Chenxing overheard, eyes on the Holo-Screen at the front. “It’s aimed at me. Ignore it.”

Tong Xiao glanced around, then opened his Holo-Screen.

Tao Xirui leaned over.

Only Xia Weizhen, at the far edge, missed it and turned to Mu Chenxing. “What did the teacher just say about vascular Y%#$^#%—”

“Oh my god!” Tao Xirui let out a low cry and smacked Mu Chenxing. “Xingxing, check the Campus Forum quick.”

Mu Chenxing and Xia Weizhen turned blankly.

Tong Xiao just sent the link to the group chat. “Look.”

Mu Chenxing opened it—

Fighting for the Weak Omegas? Come Appreciate the Scheming Little Omega’s Alpha-Seducing Drama!

The main post had two photos.

The stars were him and Pei Yao. One showed Pei Yao sideways to the camera, gripping his calf; the other was their backs as he followed Pei Yao onto the landing pad.

The caption below: Was it Omega-ism fighting for the weak Omegas’ justice, or using “justice” as an excuse to cozy up to Alphas and catch their eye?

Mu Chenxing: “…”

No need to read the rest.

He quietly closed the page and kept attending class.

His roommates, though, lacked his composure and erupted in righteous indignation:

“We know why Xingxing did it—do they get to judge?!”

“How can they spread rumors like this?”

“Too much! Their words are so vicious!”

Tong Xiao: “The previous two posts had good vibes. Sure, some Alphas griped, but the Omegas all liked Xingxing—a ton wanted to befriend him. How’d it flip like this?”

Mu Chenxing paused, recalled last night, and brought up the Omega Mutual Aid Association those guys mentioned. “You heard about this?”

Tong Xiao frowned instantly. “Don’t get involved.”

Mu Chenxing: “?”

Tong Xiao explained quietly. “Rumor has it a lot of schools have popped up with these Omega Mutual Aid Associations or Omega Rights Associations lately. Ours doesn’t have one yet. After your fight with Xu Zhicheng, they thought you were starting one.”

Mu Chenxing perked up. “So the founders of these associations are all tough fighters?”

Tong Xiao: “…Haven’t heard that.”

Tao Xirui muttered. “Who’d dare fight an Alpha?”

Mu Chenxing deflated, then pouted. “Then why think I’d apply for one?”

Xia Weizhen leaned over. “You fought an Alpha. You’re tougher than them.”

Mu Chenxing: “…”

He yanked the topic back. “Why not start one?”

Xia Weizhen: “Under the guise of mutual aid, it’s just banding together to bully other Omegas.”

Tao Xirui: “Some Omegas do get help, but there’s way more bullying scandals.”

Tong Xiao: “Getting bullied by Alphas is just a fraction. Omegas are mostly introverted and sensitive, easy targets for dormmates or classmates to exclude or pick on. But that stuff varies—not always full-on bullying, maybe just arguments. Once an association sticks its nose in, it turns into group bullying easy.”

Tao Xirui whispered. “Like you and Shen Mingshu. He used to boss you around, but now you ditched him and it’s fine.”

Mu Chenxing inwardly tsked. That Shen Mingshu’s another story.

“Got it,” he said casually.

He had zero interest anyway.

Tong Xiao and the others relaxed and returned to class.

At the end of the last morning lecture, as they discussed which Cafeteria window to hit, commotion stirred outside.

The four paid it no heed, bantering about the menus as they strolled out of the classroom—

Only to get blocked at the door.

“Mu Chenxing.” A pretty Omega with slightly curly hair sized them up, eyes landing on Mu Chenxing.

Mu Chenxing blinked. “Who’re you?”

Tong Xiao and the other two looked baffled too.

The curly-haired Omega’s voice was soft and gentle. “Who I am doesn’t matter. You do.”

“And I heard you don’t want to lead the Omega Mutual Aid Association? Even though I’m not a first-year, I know you just beat an Alpha. Everyone thinks you’re awesome and unanimously nominated you to lead it. It’s a huge honor.”

Mu Chenxing: “…Thanks?”

Curly-haired Omega: “?”

He didn’t get it. “So? Time to get to work?”

Mu Chenxing: “Nah, no interest.”

The curly-haired Omega frowned. “Nearly 500 people nominated you—that’s recognition of your skills, your glory. You should step up fast.”

“Why should—”

Mu Chenxing held back the bristling Tong Xiao and stepped forward. “This nomination—is it an official school thing?”

Curly-haired Omega: “Why would the school care? Of course not—just the Campus Network—”

“Then it’s not a school assignment. Pass.” Mu Chenxing shut it down flat.

Curly-haired Omega gaped. “But everyone hopes you—”

“Who’s this ‘everyone’? Do they represent Omega students? Is it a suggestion or an order?” Mu Chenxing asked.

Curly-haired Omega scowled. “What do you mean? You gonna ignore the fragile, bullied Omegas?”

Mu Chenxing: “I’m not their dad—or teacher. They should seek help from teachers or parents. If it’s really bad, call the cops.”

He hooked Xia Weizhen’s arm, tugged Tao Xirui along. “Let’s go—linger and we’ll miss the green juice noodles.”

The curly-haired Omega blocked him, fuming. “We’re not kids—can’t run to teachers or parents over every little thing! You beat an Alpha, so shoulder the responsibility.”

Mu Chenxing: “…If it’s minor enough not to bother teachers or parents, learn to handle it yourself. We’re college students—time to stand on our own.”

He paused, then countered. “The Alliance’s richest has billions—doesn’t mean he shares. Who says if I’m capable, I gotta be everyone’s thug bodyguard? Our job now is studying, acing exams, graduating to serve the Alliance—not messing with some Omega Mutual Aid Association.”

The speech left the curly-haired Omega dumbfounded, stammering “you” at him without words.

An Omega beside him leaned in. “We don’t need you fighting—just organizing. With you up front, we’ll have backbone.”

The others nodded vigorously like pounding garlic.

Mu Chenxing lit up. “Oh, you want me as the poster boy? Pay?”

That Omega: “Huh? N-no.”

“No pay, no deal. Head back—you’re not eating, but we are.” Mu Chenxing herded his fuming roommates away.

The Omegas stood stunned, exchanging looks.

Mu Chenxing took a few steps, then stopped and turned. “You guys been bullied too?”

Tong Xiao and the trio halted.

Curly-haired Omega glared. “Who here hasn’t?”

The others looked sour too.

Mu Chenxing: “Who?”

Curly-haired Omega paused, then glanced around, voice dropping. “An Omega in my dorm, he…”

A nearby Omega added. “He flaunts his family background, always cursing Xiao Yu for going into heat, saying his hair’s permed on purpose to seduce others’ Alphas.”

Mu Chenxing: “…That’s it?”

Curly-haired Omega’s eyes reddened. “Isn’t that enough? I didn’t do anything—I said my hair’s natural curls—”

“I’m not touching the Omega Association, but I can teach you how to deal with him. Wanna learn?” Mu Chenxing asked.

Tong Xiao and the trio: “?”

The other Omegas: “?”

Curly-haired Omega eyed his companions, hesitant. “Without the Association, how can you help us?”

Mu Chenxing: “Not helping—teaching you the fix.”

Curly-haired Omega’s eyes sparkled. “Yes! How?”

Mu Chenxing smiled. “Want the answer? Dianmo Garden entrance, 8 PM tonight.”

Tong Xiao and the trio, who knew where Dianmo Garden was: “…”

Mu Chenxing wasn’t done. He addressed the rest. “Not just him—any bullied Omega can come. I won’t hold back.”

The Omegas’ eyes gleamed, nodding eagerly.

“Good!”

“I’ll be there!”

“Me too.”

Tong Xiao and the trio looked sympathetic.

Mu Chenxing, satisfied, waved. “See you tonight.”
