If he had known that the bag he hadn’t opened was stuffed full of these things, Zhong Nian from an hour ago would have definitely “destroyed the evidence” right away, rushing into the kitchen to burn it all clean.
What kind of surprise was this? It was pure terror.
He suspected that Mo Heng had done it on purpose, to get revenge for him hiding everything away the night before.
“Why isn’t Baby saying anything?” Mo Heng held him as they sat on the edge of the bed, making him straddle his thighs with his legs spread apart.
Zhong Nian bit his lower lip, glaring at Mo Heng with reddened eyes full of resentment. “I don’t like these things at all.”
“You don’t like them?” Mo Heng’s hand pressed against the small of Zhong Nian’s back, kneading it neither lightly nor heavily, subtly draining away his strength to struggle and forcing him to stay obediently in his arms. “So Baby prefers to go straight in? But that’s not good—Baby might get sick.”
Zhong Nian tried to pry the hand off his waist, his earlobes burning red. “I didn’t say that.”
“Then what does Baby mean?”
Mo Heng pretended not to understand and leaned down to kiss him.
It was just a light peck, a very tender kiss, not rushed at all. But only Zhong Nian, who was forced to cling tightly to him, knew the surging heat hidden beneath that gentle water-like affection. In places others couldn’t see, it clearly conveyed his desire to Zhong Nian.
Zhong Nian found the position uncomfortable, like sitting on pins and needles. He shrank his neck to avoid the kiss. “Can you not hold me like this? It’s weird.”
But Mo Heng talked over him. “It doesn’t matter, though. I hear it’s fine as long as you clean up properly afterward. Husband will take good care of it all—no suffering for Baby.”
Zhong Nian sucked in a sharp breath. “I don’t want to. I don’t want it like this. I’m so tired. I want to rest now. I’m not playing with you anymore.”
He tried to flop back onto the bed but shrank away in fright at the countless little boxes scattered there. He thought about going to the floor instead.
But the man’s two large hands shackled his waist, pinning him firmly to his thighs.
Pushing with his hands did nothing, and he didn’t quite dare hit him. Earlier, afraid of being discovered, he had hidden the dagger somewhere else—it wasn’t on him or under the pillow.
“This is something every couple does. It’s fine, Baby. You’ll get used to it.” Mo Heng seized the chance to capture his lips and suck on them. “You’ll end up liking it too.”
His tongue broke through into his mouth, and Zhong Nian failed to block it in time. He frowned and let out a whimper.
Even after so many kisses, he still hadn’t learned to be clever about it, not knowing how to breathe properly.
As soon as the man’s thick tongue squeezed in and stirred around wildly, his thoughts turned into a complete mess too.
A sound like “schlup” echoed in the room. As time passed, the person who had been struggling gradually softened in his embrace, his voice growing more and more alluring.
With a gentle tug from Mo Heng, he pulled him into the midst of the scattered boxes.
…
He didn’t know when the lights went out.
“Hiss—Baby, why did you bite Husband again? Was the kiss too intense?”
“I-I’m just… biting… no more kissing… don’t continue… mmph…”
Another round of wet kissing sounds and whimpers.
Not long after.
The sound of packaging being torn open rang out in the bedroom, followed by an empty box dropping to the floor.
Slap!
Zhong Nian cried as he slapped the man across the face.
But the man chuckled lowly, even praising him. “Baby still has so much strength left? Impressive.”
“Bad thing… get away…” Zhong Nian squeezed out a feeble sentence but had no strength left to curse. Instead, he dissolved into soft sobs and gasps.
…
Zhong Nian had never slept so deeply or for so long.
When Mo Heng picked him up from the bed, he blearily saw the bright, warm light outside the window and thought it was morning. He didn’t want to open his eyes—his body ached terribly, not even his fingertips wanting to move.
“Eat something before sleeping more, Baby.” The man held a spoon and gently pried open his swollen lips, trying to feed him some of the cooled, sweet-clear porridge.
Half-dreaming, half-awake, Zhong Nian took a mouthful. After tasting the Red Bean Barley Porridge, he opened his eyes and stared blankly at the man’s face for two seconds.
The moment the other called “Baby,” he raised his hand, aimed, and slapped down.
Unlike last night, it made no sound at all—soft and fluffy, like being patted with a cat’s paw pad.
Mo Heng cooperatively drew in a breath, making a pained expression.
But the pleasure in his eyes and his body’s reaction didn’t match it at all. He was clearly thrilled.
Zhong Nian, not satisfied, bit his lip and raised his hand to slap again.
This time with a bit more force, leaving a faint mark.
Several slaps in a row, and Mo Heng stayed still, letting Zhong Nian vent.
Zhong Nian stopped—not because he’d vented all his anger, but because he couldn’t lift his arm anymore. He panted with exhaustion, his crimson lips parted, exhaling a rich fragrance. His eyes, still tinged with annoyance, shone brightly, his cheeks rouged as if brushed with matching blush.
His little wife was breathtakingly beautiful even when angry.
Mo Heng swallowed hard, suppressing the agitation that shouldn’t stir during the day. He hugged the man tighter with both arms and steadily lifted the bowl. “Baby’s so hungry you’ve got no strength left. Eat a bit more, then hit me later.”
Zhong Nian was indeed hungry—the sweet porridge made his mouth water. But he had no desire to be fed.
Since he didn’t want it, Mo Heng didn’t force him.
The sated man was especially accommodating now, letting his little wife slap him and throw tantrums with unlimited indulgence.
When Zhong Nian told him to get lost, he obediently rolled out of the room.
With the annoying presence gone, Zhong Nian finally relaxed and properly ate the food on the table.
