Even if Yu Sui hated him, even if he despised him, he wanted Yu Sui to remember him.
He moved with swift decisiveness.
Yu Sui froze in place. “You…”
He was genuinely terrified the man might snap and ruin him right there. His body tensed like a wire, and he scarcely dared to breathe.
Jiang Nianxing hadn’t lost his senses. He had no intention of hurting Yu Sui.
He was no stranger to this sort of thing and began with skilled, careful strokes.
Yu Sui didn’t dare twitch. He never imagined he could feel anything while being coerced like this.
Was this normal?
Had he awakened some kind of kink?
A jumble of frantic thoughts raced through his mind.
Jiang Nianxing’s mood lifted a little. At least Yu Sui wasn’t entirely repelled by him.
He set the camera aside and crouched in front of Yu Sui. Tilting his head up, he focused with utter concentration.
The angle—looking down from above—sent a chill crawling over Yu Sui’s scalp.
Yet despite holding all the power, he didn’t dare make a move. He exuded no dominance at all.
Jiang Nianxing’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He recalled the file he’d read.
“Yu Sui.”
He called the young man’s name and leaned up to kiss him.
Yu Sui was already somewhat dazed. Hearing that, he glanced over and froze once more.
The image was too overwhelming, even on the second viewing.
Jiang Nianxing pulled back just in time, though a smear ended up on his cheek.
Yu Sui’s mind went “buzz,” blanking out entirely.
Seeing sweat trickle down Yu Sui’s cheek, Jiang Nianxing swallowed hard. Then he gripped the young man’s thigh.
His fingertips pressed into the flesh.
Slowly, he rose to his feet.
Yu Sui hadn’t processed it yet. His whole body tipped backward, head still spinning.
Jiang Nianxing stared at him with scorching intensity.
Yu Sui shivered at the heat and snapped back to awareness. His face drained of color. “Jiang Nianxing, what the hell are you doing?”
This guy… this guy wants to…
He struggled wildly, consequences be damned.
But the man’s grip was like forged steel—utterly unyielding.
“Sui Sui can hit me with your pheromones if you want. I won’t fight back.” Jiang Nianxing gazed at him appreciatively, his voice rough. “And I won’t regret a thing.”
He inched closer.
Terror gripped Yu Sui. “Jiang… Jiang Nianxing, please—don’t…”
Kissing and hugging were one thing; he hadn’t lost his mind over those. But this? No. Absolutely not.
Tears welled in his eyes, his face ashen with fear.
Jiang Nianxing let out a sigh. “What am I going to do with you?”
He hadn’t truly planned to kiss him here—or go further—but…
“You have to promise me one thing.”
Yu Sui nodded frantically. Anything, as long as he stayed untouched.
“Let me kiss you from now on.” Jiang Nianxing said.
Yu Sui went rigid but didn’t dare refuse. “Mm.”
“And keep holding your legs like that. Don’t move.” Jiang Nianxing added.
Yu Sui was baffled at first, but he quickly caught on.
Jiang Nianxing let go of him and freed himself, his eyes never once straying away.
Yu Sui’s back was ramrod straight, his hands trembling. He wasn’t an alpha, after all—if the man lost control, he was done for…
He jerked his head aside, pretending he saw nothing.
But the harder he tried to ignore it, the more inescapably aware he became.
The man’s stifled sighs filled his ears.
Jiang Nianxing bit his tongue, teetering on the edge of losing it.
The young man was so frightened, and the room was chilly to boot, making him shiver now and then.
Jiang Nianxing took in every detail.
He tamped down the impulse to kiss him, already plotting how to make the next step happen.
A wicked smile curved his lips.
Yu Sui glanced over just then and recoiled at the expression, tumbling sideways.
Jiang Nianxing didn’t press him further. He stared at Yu Sui’s back, his mind still buzzing.
It took a good while before Jiang Nianxing finally exhaled in relief.
He started straightening himself up.
Yu Sui itched to move but caught a warning look.
Humiliation burned through him. He could only vent curses in his head.
Jiang Nianxing scooped him into his arms and helped tidy his clothes.
Yu Sui stayed rigid, lips pressed tight in silence.
“Sui Sui, no backing out on what you promised.” Jiang Nianxing kissed his cheek. “If you won’t let me, I don’t mind us doing it together…”
Madness laced his words.
Yu Sui clenched his jaw. “Not in front of cameras. Not in public.”
“Deal.” Jiang Nianxing agreed without hesitation. He had no desire for anyone else to glimpse Yu Sui’s beauty anyway.
Once he’d confirmed the room showed no signs of their activities, Jiang Nianxing draped his own shirt over Yu Sui—the one without buttons.
It hung loose on him, but going without would give everything away.
Yu Sui wasn’t thrilled, but he didn’t protest.
Jiang Nianxing carried him off the bed and handed over the camera, gesturing for him to delete the files.
Yu Sui snatched it and wiped everything clean in seconds.
With no more leverage, he shoved Jiang Nianxing away, refusing to acknowledge him.
“I could film a dozen more if I wanted.” Jiang Nianxing said. “Sui Sui, why didn’t you use your pheromones on me? Don’t have any?”
Yu Sui halted mid-step and whipped around, eyes wide with horror.
“Looks like you really don’t.” Jiang Nianxing’s eyes narrowed in certainty. “Here I thought you just couldn’t bear to hurt me.”
Yu Sui hadn’t seen the bluff coming. His face contorted.
“You’re no alpha.” Jiang Nianxing studied him. “Not an omega either. So…”
His true nature was out.
Yu Sui’s expression soured further.
“I won’t breathe a word of it. Unless Sui Sui goes back on your promises…” Jiang Nianxing feigned a headache.
Yu Sui nearly spat blood. “You’re nothing but a shameless rogue!”
“Is that all you’ve got—two measly insults?” Jiang Nianxing grinned, his alpha side turning downright devious.
Yu Sui called out to the system in his mind.
[You guys… you wouldn’t!]
“He found out my identity and is blackmailing me…” Yu Sui ground his teeth. “No wonder the ones who climb to the top at Star Sea Entertainment aren’t your average Joes. And here I was feeling sorry for them! What an idiot I am!”
[What?] The system sounded stunned. [Your identity can’t be exposed right now, no matter what.]
“I know.” Yu Sui sighed. “But him…”
[Host, sigh…] The system sounded utterly helpless.
Blackmailed like this, he had no choice but to yield.
The two headed out, each lost in their own turbulent thoughts.
They stepped back in front of the cameras, their clothes swapped.
Jiang Nianxing’s shirt was a size too small on him, and with no buttons, it was impossible not to wonder how that happened.
[Holy shit! That wild?!]
[Xiao Jiang, you beast…]
[Clothes swap is peak romance.]
[Sui Sui looks pissed. What’d somebody do?]
[Heh heh heh.]
The barrage was a nonstop flood of filth.
They emerged from the haunted house. Spotting the staff, Jiang Nianxing put on a regretful face. “The camera broke.”
“Huh?” The staffer blinked in confusion.
[Total excuse!]
[Bet he filmed something juicy and doesn’t wanna share.]
[Hogging all the goods, huh? I see you!]
[Yeah, spill it!]
“No MV footage, but I’ve got some inspiration for the song.” Jiang Nianxing tugged Yu Sui’s arm. “Let’s head back and work on it.”
Yu Sui desperately wanted to yank free but worried it’d tip people off to something odd.
Guilt gnawed at him.
On the drive back, Jiang Nianxing was glued to his phone, typing away. Yu Sui leaned against the window, staring blankly outside—or so it seemed—as he asked the system inwardly, “What am I supposed to do about my future now?”
[That’s just the cannon fodder life, sigh.] The system brimmed with sympathy. [Oh, right—any requests for the next world?]
“No ABO worlds.” Yu Sui gritted his teeth, blaming the world’s all-male vibe for how strange everyone had become—including himself. “And for me…”
He hesitated, then thought of his own weakness and hardened his resolve. “I have no earthly desires.”
[Hiss—being that brutal to yourself?] The system sounded shocked.
“They keep calling me honest, so…” Yu Sui balled his fists.
[With resolve like that, you’ll conquer anything.] The system regarded him with newfound respect.
Back at the villa, they each retreated to their rooms to freshen up and change.
The others still hadn’t returned.
Later, Jiang Nianxing headed upstairs to find Yu Sui.
Yu Sui had no intention of opening the door but feared what the man might do otherwise.
With a grim face, he unlocked it.
Jiang Nianxing stepped inside carrying a laptop and guitar. He set them down, then fished a tube of ointment from his pocket.
“Let me put some medicine on you, Sui Sui.”
Yu Sui’s body went rigid as he heard those words. “No need!”
“Are you sure?” Jiang Nianxing eyed him appraisingly. “What if I want to eat it next time…”
“Get lost! What nonsense are you spouting?” Yu Sui cut him off.
“Others will notice,” Jiang Nianxing insisted, grabbing his hand with unyielding force.
Yu Sui’s expression darkened, but he didn’t refuse again.
“Can you stop drooling over me?” Yu Sui glared at him.
“Don’t tempt me—my self-control is terrible,” Jiang Nianxing said shyly.
Yu Sui nearly spat blood. “What the hell did I even do?”
“Just your breathing is enough to seduce me,” Jiang Nianxing replied with dead seriousness.
“You’re sick,” Yu Sui shot back. He didn’t buy any of it. Jiang Nianxing was just trying to get revenge on him.
“I’ve got plenty of issues,” Jiang Nianxing said, staring intently at him. “Like fantasies. Fantasies about you having…”
“Stop!” Yu Sui interrupted. “Shut up, okay? Hurry up and apply the medicine!”
Jiang Nianxing coughed awkwardly and stopped with the teasing. He finished applying the ointment with difficulty, washed his hands, and dove back into work.
Inspiration flowed from him now. He sat focused at the computer, completely immersed—a total contrast to moments ago.
Yu Sui felt deeply uncomfortable. He had no real insight into this kind of thing, so he simply pulled out his phone and vented by trash-talking people on his alt account.
This time, he’d learned his lesson and disabled comments entirely.
His mood improved a bit. Then Yu Sui chatted with the System.
“Any tasks I can knock out all at once?”
Jiang Nianxing’s behavior had left Yu Sui rattled. What if the guy actually developed those kinds of thoughts…
Better to be safe than sorry. Finishing the tasks quickly was the way to go.
[I’ve sorted them for you.] The System listed a bunch.
Some involved using his alt account to smear people—easy enough.
Yu Sui fired off hundreds of posts without pause.
Targeted barbs and passive-aggressive jabs were simple too.
The remaining tasks mostly targeted others, with the bulk aimed at Shen Anliu—and the kind that involved…
Slipping someone a drug at the first disagreement, using an Omega’s pheromones to make them embarrass themselves.
In short, for the sake of harmony, the cannon fodder had to charge ahead brainlessly. Yeah, he could definitely pull this off smoothly!
