28 Chapter 24: The Big White Wolf’s Cruel Streak

Wei Teng is everything an elite student isn't: loud, unpretentious, fashion-blind, and cursed with a chronic stomachache that matches his unfortunate homophone of a name. Xiao Fan, on the other hand, is a disciplined, sharp, and notoriously aloof master’s student in law—a man whose composure is legendary and whose icy walls keep the entire world at arm's length.

When a series of mutual misunderstandings among their family and friends leads to a swapped set of non-refundable "VIP Couples' Tour" tickets to Guilin, the two strangers find themselves trapped together on a train, sharing a single hotel bed meant for lovers. Xiao Fan can’t stand Wei Teng’s noisy, chaotic energy, while Wei Teng is convinced Xiao Fan is a repressed antique with an ego carved from stone.

Yet beneath Xiao Fan’s biting sarcasm lies a deeply guarded, lonely heart burdened by past unrequited affections. And beneath Wei Teng’s goofy, thick-skinned exterior is a warmth that refuses to look away from someone in pain.

When fate brings Wei Teng to Xiao Fan’s university campus, what started as a disastrous trip turns into an unexpected game of emotional chase. Determined to drag the solitary "White Wolf" out of the shadows, Wei Teng charges forward with unyielding optimism—only to discover that melting an iceberg means navigating the complicated past Xiao Fan has locked behind his silence.
