Chapter 35 Part 1
Since the Lin Zhi incident, Shi Xu hadn’t had any nightmares.
Lately, he dreamt of Gu Sui more often, sometimes in his pollutant form, sometimes in his human form. As their intimacy increased, so did the intensity of the dreams.
It was bad enough being kissed senseless by Gu Sui in reality. Now, even in his dreams, Gu Sui dominated him, leaving him breathless.
Shi Xu usually didn’t use the heater in winter, but tonight, he was sweating.
Before even opening his eyes, he felt a familiar presence, warm breath tickling his neck.
The curtains were half-drawn, moonlight illuminating the room.
Half of Gu Sui’s figure was shrouded in shadows, the other half bathed in moonlight, his broad shoulders, toned chest and abs, and the distinct lines of his v-line clearly visible.
Countless tentacles floated behind him, shimmering silver in the moonlight, but they weren’t as captivating as his golden eyes.
They stared at him, their desire unveiled in the quiet night.
The intensity was overwhelming, threatening to consume him.
Shi Xu thought he was still dreaming, trapped in a monster’s fantasy.
Gu Sui’s forehead touched his, rubbing gently, their eyes locked.
The intimacy was overwhelming, their noses almost touching, their breaths mingling, a subtle shift away from a kiss.
Before Gu Sui could act on the unspoken invitation, Shi Xu grabbed his hair. A cry of pain echoed in the room.
“Ow!”
Shi Xu: “If it hurts, get off.”
Gu Sui lifted himself, hovering above Shi Xu, refusing to move. “I… like… the pain… Wife gives.”
“…”
Shi Xu didn’t release his grip, nor did he tighten it. “Why aren’t you sleeping?”
Gu Sui: “Don’t want… to sleep… alone. Want… to sleep… with Wife.”
Shi Xu kicked him off the bed.
Gu Sui rolled over, lying on the floor, looking up at him with innocent eyes, his voice laced with grievance. “Wife… so mean…”
“Have I been too lenient with you lately?” Shi Xu sat up, running his hand through his hair, his eyes darkening.
Those familiar with him knew what this meant. This was how he looked before punishing someone. He wouldn’t show mercy, the severity of the punishment depending on the offense.
Cries of pain echoed in the room for a long time. The floor was littered with severed, transparent tentacles.
Shi Xu sheathed his sword. Gu Sui lay on the floor, seemingly defeated, but his eyes, still fixed on Shi Xu, burned with an even more intense desire.
“Wife… so strong…”
Shi Xu: “…”
Gu Sui’s words were genuine admiration, but Shi Xu’s mind conjured unsettling images. He tightened his grip on the sword hilt, debating whether to punish Gu Sui further, then decided against it.
He had been too lenient lately. Gu Sui, who previously maintained a respectful distance, had become increasingly bold, even resorting to sneaking into his bed.
“If you sneak into my room again while I’m sleeping, get out,” Shi Xu warned.
Gu Sui wasn’t deterred, his voice slightly softer. “After… marriage… we sleep… in same bed… and… do… more intimate… things…”
Shi Xu: “We’re not married yet.”
Gu Sui: “When… are we… getting married?”
Shi Xu kicked away a tentacle that brushed against his foot, sneering. “Depends on your behavior.”
Gu Sui, like a fish out of water, bounced up, appearing before Shi Xu in an instant, his hands on either side of him, trapping him beneath his large frame.
Shi Xu looked up at him calmly. “What?”
“I… want to… behave…” Gu Sui leaned closer. “Wife, can… I have… a chance… to behave?”
Shi Xu knew what he meant. He didn’t respond, not encouraging him, but not discouraging him either.
The transparent tentacles had been severed, but Gu Sui could easily regenerate them. He didn’t. Only two golden tentacles remained. They were more resilient. Shi Xu didn’t want to waste his energy cutting them, so he left them.
He didn’t know if this was a mistake.
Now, the two golden tentacles wriggled, moving around Gu Sui, reaching for his feet.
They slowly wrapped around his ankles, their tips tracing his ankle bones, like Gu Sui’s tongue, licking his skin.
That strange sensation returned, first from Gu Sui sucking on his finger, then from their kiss. This time, despite the lack of physical contact, the feeling was even more intense, making him tremble.
A voice whispered in his mind—
You like this.
You want this.
Just ask, and he’ll give it to you. He always obeys you.
He’ll do anything for you.
Just ask!
Gu Sui’s hair brushed against his forehead, their noses touching, breaking through Shi Xu’s momentary confusion.
Gu Sui’s voice was soft, but seductive. “I… learned… many things… I’ll… make you… feel good…”
“Let me… try? If… you’re not… satisfied… you can… dismember me…”
His words sounded threatening, but this was their strange form of communication.
Shi Xu knew, and so did Gu Sui, that no one else could understand or tolerate his darker impulses, his unpredictable anger, and survive unscathed.
Only Gu Sui.
Shi Xu stepped on a golden tentacle, chuckling. “Try? You already did.”
The tentacle was a part of Gu Sui. He applied pressure, making Gu Sui shudder, his arms weakening, his body almost falling onto Shi Xu.
He stopped himself just in time, pleading, “Wife, I… feel… strange…”
“Should I stop?” Shi Xu caressed his face, his fingertip wiping away the sweat on his cheek, then tracing the corner of his eye.
Gu Sui nuzzled his hand, his warm breath on Shi Xu’s wrist, his expression pained, but his eyes filled with a hidden pleasure.
“No…” The tentacle tightened around Shi Xu’s ankle. Even with the reduced pressure, he couldn’t escape.
It enjoyed being stepped on, being dominated by Shi Xu.
But Shi Xu, seemingly sensing his pleasure, lightened his step.
This only intensified Gu Sui’s strange discomfort. He wanted the pressure back, the pain mingled with the pleasure of being punished by Shi Xu.
Shi Xu was right. He was a pervert.
Gu Sui straightened up, kissing Shi Xu’s eyelid. Shi Xu’s lashes fluttered, his half-closed eyes observing Gu Sui’s expression.
Gu Sui knelt before him, looking up at him submissively.
“Are… you… satisfied? If… you like… can I… continue?”
He looked so pitiful, making Shi Xu want to indulge him, to fulfill his every desire.
But he knew it was an act.
A predator would do anything to capture its prey. Gu Sui knew what he liked, what he wanted, every expression, every movement, every word, every nuance perfectly calculated to manipulate him.
Shi Xu lifted his left foot, placing it on Gu Sui’s thigh, then, under his intense gaze, sliding it down to his abdomen, pressing down hard.
“Continue. If you don’t satisfy me, get out.”
The moment he spoke, Gu Sui’s pitiful facade vanished, a smile spreading across his face, the golden tentacles no longer restrained, sliding up Shi Xu’s leg, inside his pants.
Gu Sui straightened up, capturing Shi Xu’s lips with his…
Shi Xu couldn’t remember the last time he slept in. He rarely had the chance, his internal clock always waking him up on time.
He had opened his eyes briefly at 6 am, but succumbed to exhaustion, falling back asleep.
He vaguely felt the presence behind him, even in his drowsiness, aware of its actions.
Since agreeing to let Gu Sui “try,” he had been held captive in his embrace, the brief respite ending with a flurry of kisses on his neck and shoulder, leaving darker marks on the already reddened skin.
The arms around his waist tightened. Gu Sui’s hoarse whispers echoed in his ear.
“Like… I like it so much…”
He finally had his precious treasure.
And he wouldn’t let go.
Shi Xu was his!
Only his!!
Forever!!!
“I like you so much…”
Shi Xu frowned. “Shut up!”
The whispers stopped, replaced by even more fervent kisses.
Gu Sui’s affection was suffocating.
A single word from him would silence Gu Sui, but he didn’t speak.
He liked the feeling of being suffocated by Gu Sui’s affection, a feeling no one else could give him.
He craved it, addicted to the intensity.
Gu Sui wouldn’t let him go, and he didn’t want him to.
He slowly opened his eyes, meeting Gu Sui’s loving gaze. He placed his hand on the back of Gu Sui’s neck, his fingers lightly touching it. A slight pressure would break his neck. Previously, he would have killed this pollutant without hesitation.
Gu Sui didn’t seem to notice the killing intent, or perhaps he did, and chose to ignore it.
He never resisted Shi Xu’s attacks, offering his most vulnerable point, enduring his unreasonable violence, absorbing his negativity.
All he gave Shi Xu was passion and unrestrained affection.
Shi Xu’s lips moved, his dry throat making it difficult to speak. Gu Sui leaned closer. “What?”
“Nothing.” Shi Xu pulled Gu Sui closer, their lips meeting, guiding him, surrendering to his dominance.
Shi Xu had intended to go to work in the morning, but plans changed. As compensation for disrupting his sleep, Qi Yu arranged for his subordinates to cover his shift. He could go in later.
He never thought he would be intimate with a pollutant, nor did he expect to sleep until 11 am.
When he woke up, Gu Sui was still in his bed, holding him from behind, their position unchanged.
Gu Sui seemed comfortable, but Shi Xu wasn’t. He nudged him with his elbow. Gu Sui reluctantly loosened his grip. As soon as Shi Xu found a comfortable position, Gu Sui was back, kissing his cheek, his ear, his neck, his collarbone, moving downwards…
Before things escalated, Shi Xu kicked him off the bed.
“Enough.” His voice was hoarse, his throat dry and scratchy.
A tentacle offered him a glass of water. He didn’t take it, using the tentacle as support to drink directly from the glass, soothing his parched throat.
“Wife, are… you… hungry?” Compared to Shi Xu’s exhaustion, Gu Sui looked refreshed, as if he had slept soundly.
Shi Xu: “I am.”
“Then… I’ll… cook.” Gu Sui stood up, but instead of leaving, he leaned closer, his voice soft and pleading. “Wife, can… I have… a good morning… kiss?”
Shi Xu slapped him.
“Don’t push it!”
Gu Sui, clutching his reddened cheek, went downstairs to cook, dejected.
He had allowed him all sorts of kisses last night, yet a simple good morning kiss was too much? Wife was so stingy!
But a grumpy Wife was the cutest~
…
Shi Xu didn’t know what would hatch from the golden egg Gu Sui found. Afraid of potential trouble, he hadn’t had it examined.
Lately, the egg had become more active, but the creature inside still hadn’t hatched.
As he went downstairs, the egg, which had been playing with the little black cat, rolled towards him, its pointed end nuzzling his ankle. Sensing the red marks on his ankle, it stopped.
An unseen gaze settled on his face. He could feel the creature inside looking at him, its silent question evident: It was white yesterday, why is it red today?
