Chapter 124: The End
The atmosphere of graduation was beautiful and sad. A group of youths fought for the microphone, shouting their lungs out.
In the dim light, in an unnoticed corner, Fei Nuo’s heart pounded one after another, the strong force like a drumstick hitting his heart.
Although it was dark in front of him, and he couldn’t even see Gu Ze’s face clearly, Fei Nuo still felt that the moment his lips were bitten, a dazzling white light flashed before his eyes.
It was so bright his pupils suddenly contracted. The taste of alcohol also spread from the touch of their lips to his mouth, making him a little dizzy.
“You… but…”
Fei Nuo opened his mouth, his words incomplete. He stuttered a couple of times and then couldn’t say anything more.
Gu Ze, who was sizing up Fei Nuo in the dark, his eyes were wanton and fiery.
The alcohol had broken the string he had been holding onto for so long. He had even treated today as the last moment for the two of them and wanted to go crazy.
At least, to leave a moment worth reminiscing about for the rest of his life.
Gently pinching Fei Nuo’s chin with his fingers, Gu Ze pulled the two of them closer with a strong and irresistible force, his eyes fixed on him without blinking.
Fei Nuo was scared by the turbulent and fiery passion in his eyes. He subconsciously wanted to turn his head, but found that his face was being held, and he couldn’t move at all.
Forced to look at Gu Ze, Fei Nuo saw his slightly raised brows and, in a daze, finally found that the little boy who had always been by his side had now become full of aggression.
The bulging muscles on his arms, the tightly clenched teeth and lips, and the gaze that was hotter than the temperature outside.
The ambiguous and suffocating atmosphere fermented quietly in the dark, making Fei Nuo completely afraid to look at him.
“Fei Nuo, you look at me.”
Gu Ze tilted his head slightly to follow Fei Nuo’s averted gaze.
Fei Nuo’s throat was tight. He wanted to speak, but found that his breathing was so loud it was ridiculous.
“How do you feel now?”
Gu Ze pressed Fei Nuo’s waist with his other hand and gently yet forcefully brought the two of them closer again.
Before Fei Nuo could even react, his whole person was almost in an intimate embrace with Gu Ze.
Now, not only was his heart burning, but Fei Nuo felt as if he had fallen into a boiler, on the verge of melting into ashes.
He didn’t know if it was because the smell of alcohol around was too strong, but Fei Nuo felt the heat rush up his neck. Not only did his face turn red, but even his little legs ached.
“I… I feel a little uncomfortable.”
Fei Nuo pressed his heating legs, his body limply falling into Gu Ze’s arms, the words he spat out were all gasps.
Gu Ze was slightly taken aback and then reached out to hold Fei Nuo’s shoulder.
“Find me a place with water, Gu Ze.”
The last two words were light and soft. Hearing them, Gu Ze’s eardrums trembled.
I really want to bully him until he cries, Gu Ze thought, licking his lips.
Holding Fei Nuo’s weak body, Gu Ze half-held, half-carried him out of the private room and to the bathroom next door.
When they reached the sink, Fei Nuo pressed his hands on the counter, turned on the faucet, and splashed several handfuls of water on his face.
The cool water temporarily cooled his brain, but although it wasn’t as hot, he was still very dizzy, and his vision seemed to have a bit of a double image.
That’s strange. Wasn’t it Gu Ze who was drinking?
Could a kiss make you drunk? Fei Nuo thought.
Gu Ze on the side also noticed that Fei Nuo was not normal. His eyes were obviously much more dazed than usual. Thinking of the iced red tea he had just drunk, he had a rough idea.
It was probably a drink with a not-so-low alcohol content that Fei Nuo had mistakenly drunk.
“Do you want to go back first?”
Just as Gu Ze finished speaking, he saw Fei Nuo clutching his legs and limping towards a toilet stall.
“What’s wrong?”
Supporting Fei Nuo, who could barely walk, Gu Ze asked.
Fei Nuo, on the other hand, simply rested his head on his shoulder, the hot breath he exhaled carrying a sweet, drink-like taste. “My… my tail is coming out!”
Gu Ze tilted his head in slight confusion. Seeing Fei Nuo’s pained, almost-crying look, he simply picked him up and walked two steps into a toilet stall.
In just a few short seconds, the moment the door closed, Fei Nuo’s two legs gradually grew longer, tearing through the fabric and turning into a blue fishtail.
The fishtail drooped softly, as soft as fine silk, and the scales on it reflected a sparkling light.
Gu Ze didn’t even know what expression to make, but he knew that special energy existed in this world, so he was only slightly shocked before he quickly composed himself.
Gu Ze placed the little merman on the toilet. The small space was crowded with two people, and it was obviously not enough to stretch out.
Fei Nuo’s fishtail had nowhere to go, and he found the floor dirty, so he hugged the tip of his tail and sat on the toilet in a daze.
The alcohol had gone to his head, and his mind was blank, unable to think of anything.
Gu Ze half-crouched down and looked at Fei Nuo, whose eyes were filled with confusion. He was well-behaved and soft, his hair plastered to his forehead, his fair face looking even more helpless than his own.
Reaching out his hand, Gu Ze brushed the hair covering Fei Nuo’s eyes to the side of his ear, revealing his delicate features.
“You’re drunk,” Gu Ze said.
Gu Ze’s voice was very light, just like his actions, lightly drilling into Fei Nuo’s ears, which made Fei Nuo can’t help but reach out and rub the tip of his ear.
But the moment he lifted his hand, he couldn’t hold the tip of his tail, and Fei Nuo quickly hugged the drooping tail again.
But his ear was unbearably itchy. He reached out to rub it again, and his tail fell to the floor again.
In the end, he had no choice but to hug his tail and pitifully endure the itch.
He didn’t know why, but at this moment, he actually felt a little wronged. The alcohol had numbed his nerves, making Fei Nuo’s eyes a little moist. “My ear is so itchy.”
Hearing his words, which were no different from acting spoiled, Gu Ze’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he nodded with a soft “hmm.” “Do you want me to rub it for you?”
Fei Nuo seemed to be considering this proposal. After a long while, he finally nodded. “Alright then. I have to hold my tail.”
“Mm. You hold it obediently. I’ll rub it for you.”
Under the light, Fei Nuo tilted his head up, his ear held in Gu Ze’s hand. The scorching heat canceled out his itch, making him let out a comfortable sigh.
“Is it comfortable?” Gu Ze asked with his head lowered.
Fei Nuo nodded his head like a little chicken pecking at rice. “Gu Ze, you’re so good at rubbing.”
Gu Ze couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m even better at other things.”
Fei Nuo didn’t understand. He just tilted his head up and looked at Gu Ze without moving.
Gu Ze was so flustered by his gaze that he reached out and pinched Fei Nuo’s nose, changing the subject. “Your tail, can it change back?”
Fei Nuo thought for a moment and said obediently, “Yes. It’ll change back when it’s not so hot.”
“When will it not be hot?”
“I don’t know.”
Nuonuo poked the cool scales on his tail and said with a sigh, “My tail has been hot recently. Am I sick?”
Gu Ze followed his gaze, and his eyes landed on a spot where a scale was lifted up. He paused and then quickly looked away.
“Do you need my help?”
Fei Nuo tilted his head, his drunk mind thinking for a long time before he slowly said, “Like rubbing my ear tip?”
Gu Ze felt he was about to explode. A hint of red appeared in his eyes, and he nodded, both embarrassed and on the verge of collapse. “Yes.”
A few more people came to the bathroom. One of them pushed the stall door and, hearing a muffled “someone’s here” from inside, mumbled a few words and drunkenly moved to another spot.
The night had completely darkened. Lei Yan had finished singing two songs and was now with his arm around Zhou Le’s shoulder, lamenting the passage of time. Suddenly thinking of something, he looked at the corner of the private room. “Huh, where are Gu Ze and Fei Nuo? Did they leave?”
Zhou Le was sweeping the snacks on the table. Hearing this, he also looked up and let out a “tsk.” “Gu Ze must be secretly giving the boss delicious food again!”
It had been like this since they were young. Gu Ze only had Fei Nuo in his heart and couldn’t see anyone else.
Hearing this, Lei Yan was relieved and nodded. “It’s good that they’ve made up. Otherwise, I’d be caught in the middle, and it would be quite uncomfortable.”
They’re both my friends. It’s not right to help either of them.
In the latter half of the night, Gu Ze finally called Lei Yan and said they were sleeping in the hotel upstairs. “Fei Nuo’s drink had alcohol in it, so I took him up first.”
Lei Yan let out an “oh,” thinking to himself that they seemed to have been gone for several hours. Why was he only calling now?
But before he could ask any more questions, the phone was hung up by Gu Ze.
Lei Yan’s heart instantly turned cold, thinking to himself, So I’m just a tool!
On this side, Lei Yan’s party went on all night. On that side, Fei Nuo woke up early in the morning, feeling dizzy and holding his head as he sat on the bed.
It was his first time being drunk. He felt that everything that had happened last night was like a dream, with a strong sense of unreality.
The sunlight was so bright it made his tears stream down. Fei Nuo shook his head, and his memory gradually became clear.
Along with it came the heat that had disappeared last night, slowly crawling up his face, making Fei Nuo once again curl up into a ball and roll in the covers.
Ahhh!
I actually did it with Gu Ze!
And with…
This is too exciting!
Fei Nuo didn’t dare to think. The moment he thought, his head would start to smoke.
It was his first time in his life, and it was so intense that Fei Nuo’s brain was about to crash again, almost unable to turn.
But Gu Ze clearly didn’t want to give him a chance to be a coward. He pulled down the covers, half-knelt on the head of the bed, and looked at him with a blatant gaze.
Fei Nuo pulled the corner of the blanket up again, covering his chin, and asked in a muffled voice, “What are you doing?”
Gu Ze’s eyes were fixed on him. “Nothing. I just want to look at you.”
Fei Nuo felt that Gu Ze was more extroverted and passionate than yesterday, which made him a little unable to handle it.
Just one sentence could make Fei Nuo’s face heat up again, his little eyes darting around in a panic.
“Oh.”
The two of them were silent for a moment, but the atmosphere was gradually heating up, both sticky and ambiguous.
In the end, it was Gu Ze who couldn’t stand the dryness in his throat and spoke first. “Am I your underground lover now?”
Fei Nuo let out a couple of “ah”s in his heart, thinking to himself, How can you use that word like that?!
“What lover? Don’t talk nonsense!”
Gu Ze’s gaze was a little wronged. “Not even a lover? Can’t I even be in the dark?”
Fei Nuo’s brain was almost numb from Gu Ze’s words. It took him a long while to turn, and he let out a breath. “Can’t you be a little more open about it?”
The relationship is too messy, and it’s making Fei Nuo’s heart pound so hard it’s about to jump out.
This sentence seemed to have given a signal. Gu Ze’s eyes lit up. He reached into the covers, pulled out Fei Nuo’s hand, and kissed it.
“Then I’ll work hard to become official, my future boyfriend.”
Fei Nuo didn’t want to look at him, but his pounding heart and the slightly upturned corners of his lips betrayed his mood.
In the future, the road ahead would be walked by the two of them together.
