Immortal Lord’s Beauty Has the Whole Internet Swooning [From Ancient Times to the Modern Day]

Betrayed, the Sword Sect’s First Disciple Zhu Sheng fell to the devil path. On the day the righteous cultivators surrounded him, golden light filled the sky and immortal music rang out. The Devil Zhu Sheng… ascended.

Zhu Sheng discovered that in the immortal realm, men and women, young and old, all left their hair loose and their faces uncovered. Their clothes were scandalously revealing, and their behavior was shockingly bold.

But everyone was incredibly powerful. They could speak to one another across a thousand miles, their mounts could travel a thousand miles in a day, and they could fly through the skies, burrow into the earth, summon wind and rain—there seemed to be nothing they couldn’t do.

It took Zhu Sheng several days to learn that the immortal realm had another name: modern society.

Zhu Sheng: …I must have ascended at the wrong time!

With modern technology racing ahead, the former crown prince and Sword Sect’s First Disciple had been reduced to working as a martial arts choreographer for a film crew.

When the crew first saw Zhu Sheng, they thought: That’s it?

He looked like some pampered young master who couldn’t lift a finger. With a face like that, why not become an actor?

Later, everyone thought:

Holy crap, he could beat ten of me in a fight!

When Zhu Sheng noticed that a certain wealthy investor was looking at him in a very peculiar way, he sent the unsharpened sword in his hand flying past the man’s cheek.

Having learned what people meant by the industry’s “unspoken rules,” Zhu Sheng lowered his brows and fixed the investor with a cold stare.

“Keep looking, and I’ll gouge your eyes out.”

The sword quivered and hummed where it had buried itself in a pillar. Everyone in the room stared in shock.

The Xi Family was richer than a nation, and its current head, Xi Chengu, was famously mercurial. Wherever he went, people flocked around him.

The director thought miserably that their production was finished.

But before everyone’s eyes, Xi Chengu didn’t get angry. He merely smiled at Zhu Sheng with elegant composure and held out his hand.

“As you wish. It would be my pleasure.”

Everyone: ???

Everyone said that after Crown Prince Sheng turned devil and was executed, his sworn enemy, the National Preceptor, had gone mad and stormed Sangshan alone, sword in hand.

For the first time, the National Preceptor’s immaculate sword had tasted blood. The blood stained half the mountain red.

Years later, Xi Chengu—the former National Preceptor, now a powerful investor—visited a film set and saw someone wielding a sword with the effortless grace of an immortal.

Xi Chengu gazed at the immortal, who stood there with a cool expression and an oversized cup of milk tea in his arms, and murmured:

“I’ve waited many years for you, Your Highness.”

Later, Xi Chengu’s true colors came to light. Zhu Sheng looked at his old rival, whose carefully cultivated image had crumbled beyond recognition.

…

Wasn’t the National Preceptor supposed to be dignified and upright, a paragon of virtue?
